Dortmund collected the three points and was able to recover from the draw in just few minutes to take the lead again. These are the main positive points.
The negative points were the reduced margin between a top team and a novice one at Dortmund's home..
In fact Dortmund failed many times to add goals in this match. That point should be fixed because in front of a top team, they might miss points..
As expected, Dortmund won the match against FC St. Pauli. But honestly, I thought there would be more goals for them, at least 3 goals. But the important thing is they won. Even though Dortmund did have a lot of chances, they even dominated both in terms of possession and attacks towards the goal.

Source: Serhou Guirassy wins it for Borussia Dortmund against FC St. Pauli

And again, Serhou Guirassy made a very decisive contribution for Dortmund. Because thanks to his goal, Dortmund finally won, previously, St. Pauli was able to equalize the position with a score of 1 - 1.
and in the end, through a goal from Serhou Guirassy, Dortmund was able to add a goal and make the position 2 - 1, winning.

Indeed, Dortmund dominated the match. They even deserve to win with bigger scores. But at least, they could get full points in this match.
Sometimes the performance in the local league can be different with UCL. Dortmund didn't start this season well in Bundesliga, but they started very well in UCL. I think there is still a lot of time for Dortmund to improve their position in Bundesliga standings.

Dominance means nothing without results. Dortmund took 3 points and that's good, but the result is very weak in my opinion - St. Pauli scored only 5 goals in 7 games and one of them was against Dortmund. In general, a minimal victory at home against a clear underdog is not something that should set a positive mood, although maybe after the break for national team games it is acceptable.
Given Dortmund current situation, a narrow win over St. Pauli is certainly understandable, because the most important thing is to secure 3 points when the match ends. For the time being, Dortmund has managed to break into the top four of the standings, and it is likely that their position will be displaced again by Freiburg, Leverkusen or Union Berlin who will play later. However, this is not a big problem, because today victory indicates that they have succeeded in creating a turning point in their performance. In my opinion, Nuri Sahin did not force his team to work hard to score many goals, because they have to save their energy to face Real Madrid in the continuation of the Champions League match in the middle of next week.

Why I wouldn’t hold Dortmund or say they didn’t actually play well I will cite that this is the first game after the international break and as such clubs like Dortmund would have been facing fatigue problem as it is mostly their players who usually get the national team call up than the bottom clubs. So the excuse should be that this players are likely not yet ready due to fatigue, this will also be the case for the other big clubs and as such we could see surprises in this game week.

But regardless of the international break I think Nurul Sahin and his boys needs to do better than this, Dortmund have not been easily conceding goals to lower clubs they shouldn’t but also losing to some teams that they should be winning.  They have dropped points at Weder Bremen which wasn’t a good and also have actually lost to the likes of Stuttgart and Union Berlin which if they are serious about winning the league they would have gotten maximum Points from this matches, so this tight win against St.Pauli isn’t too surprising to me

True. In some matches, the team which dominated the match ended up with a lose. It is good if Dortmund could win the match although it was a narrow score. St. Pauli is surely a weak team but it doesn't mean they aren't possible to bring the difficulty to other teams. Sometimes they weak teams can be harder to be defeated because they played very defensively and used too many defenders in the lineup. I think this was happening in the match Dortmund vs St. Pauli.

Yeah, some players have just played for their national teams. Some Dortmund players may not have enough time for taking a rest. So, they can't play optimally, they have no good fitness. For a small team, it is rarely that their players join national teams. So, they could play optimally without the problem of national team matches.

Most importantly Dortmund were able to secure three points in the end of the game and that is what matters the most because if the must win the league title then they will have to keep wining more games even if they will have to win with such slim differences, most importantly they get to secure three points from each game at the end of the day. At some point the number of goals may matter but that will be if there's a thigh to be broken which if they have been wining a lot they may be able to maintain good point difference with which they will still be at advantage in situations as this.

This match is over and Dortmund won with a score of 2-1 you won one of those bets, not bad. Actually Dortmund has many opportunities when they have 20 shots unfortunately the shot was inaccurate and only 7 on target, but yeah their main target is 3 points so the total goal does not have too much impact also Dortmund managed to take place in the top 4 even though it was only a while unless Freiburg and Leverkusen drew tomorrow then Dortmund will be safe there.

It's not that Dortmund didn't play well, it's that St. Pauli's defence was so good that they always tried to use the option of planning for chances outside the box or forcing penetration on both sides which didn't work out very well in the end.

But the 3 points are still theirs because even though St. Pauli surprised with their goal back but in the end Dortmund can still keep the 3 points they have in this match.
I think both clubs played very well where Dortmund with their offensive schemes and St. Pauli who did expect optimal results with their defensive schemes but the experience and level of different clubs made their good efforts not really match the results they had but even so I think it's okay to still praise St. Pauli's performance in today's match.

The match between Dortmund and the FC St. Pauli supposed be a easy match, because Dortmund opponent are not that strong that’s Dortmund are able to dominate all the match and both the possessions and they was leading the possessions by 75% and the FC Pauli only manage to get 25%.
I guessed it will be a very easy match for Dortmund because they only played against a small team in relegation zone. Dortmund also played in their home, so they have the advantage of big supports from their home base fans. They also could won the ball possessions above 75% and created many chances. However, it turned to be not easy match, Dortmund only could score 2 goals. I actually expected they will score 4 goals at least. IMO, I think St Pauli played not really bad performance today.

Dortmund deserved to win because seasons their performances have far differs from last season, I was even surprised why they were left behind in the Bundesliga. Because Thier the one leading the top of the table in the champions with high points.

It's half time already with Dortmund taking the lead against St. Paul with 1 goal to nill, despite the fact that St. Paul was able to have scored a goal at 30minutes by M. Guilavogui into the game and got disqualified for offside after a video referee assistance was confirmed. However, judging from the current look of the game now, though Dortmund has a bigger chance to win this game, I don't think it's likely to end with a total of 3 games, despite Dortmund having the most ball control over the game. But however, let's see how it goes as the second half begins shortly.

I have always known and expected Dortmund was going to win this game and leading by a goal in the first half i guess shouldn't come as a surprise and as a matter of fact, the game ended in a 2-1 victory form St. Paul, but then i was expecting that Dortmund would have done much better with much goals but then it turns out that they were able to not allow Dortmund scored too many goals but such that we have expected so that could possibly mean that they aren't that bad after all and could do well against average teams if they eventually meet any in the Bundesliga.

One misconception football fans have about Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga is that "Bayern has it easy". They do not. Bayern Munich works twice as hard to always win the league. It's true that they have an advantage since they're richer and bigger than the other clubs so they can easily buy better players in the league, but that doesn't mean the other clubs just allow them win the league.
We saw how Leverkusen won the league last season. They literally had to finish the season without losing a single game, that's how good you have to be to win the league from Bayern Munich. You have to be better than them all round and it's very difficult to be better than Munich.

I don't think Frankfurt and Leipzig are in a position to do what Leverkusen did last season. They may be on the same points with Munich now, but with time, they'll slip up.
Bayern Munich knows how to hold on. They know how to grind out results. If their player don't get too many injuries, they'll win the league this season.
It's true, nothing is really easy for all the teams that have won titles so far, in fact they are fighting and trying to do everything to be able to win the title at the end of the season. Bayern Munich is the most dominant team in the Bundesliga, just like Manchester City and PSG in the Premier League and Ligue 1, so I would never be surprised if this season Bayern Munich can reclaim the title previously won by Leverkusen.

Other teams like Leipzig certainly have a big chance of losing points in the next matches, especially in matches against equally good teams. Bayern Munich and Leipzig have so far been unbeaten until week 6, but both have collected 2 draws. These two teams will probably suffer defeats as the league progresses, but we don't know who will beat them yet.

Tonight is a nice setup for Borussia Dortmund to not only collect 3 points but to score as many goals as possible against a weaker side, S.t Pauli. As usual, I have placed a bet of over 2.5 at 1.54 odds  and another of over 3.5 goals at 2.34 odds both bets I have the confidence that they will come through although I employed proper risk management. Going by the scoring records of Dortmund especially in their home, this should not be a difficult result to achieve although St. Pauli at away is full of surprises. Generally, the German Bundesliga seems to have a setting for many goals this weekend.

Though Dortmund was the better side in the game as they were all round the game dominating in everything including ball possession, goal attempts and they had a total control of the game and one would have expected them to record a lot of goal as you predicted but they were so lucky  to get the late winning goal from S. Guirassy otherwise the game would have ended in a 1:1 draw. St Pauli. appeared to be very weak in the game but they were mindful of their defense and that saved them from conceding a lot of goals. E. Smith brought back St. Pauli to the game and it was looking difficult for Dortmund but being in control of the game helped them to get the winning goal in the 83 minutes, you were lucky your over 2.5 pick played, I believe you have something to cover up for the loss of the 3.5 which did not come through.

It should be like that but by looking at the course of the match they were actually a little troubled by St. Pauli's defense which was indeed very good in today's match.

In terms of dominance, opportunities owned as well as from possession of the ball Dortmund were in control in today's match but it cannot be denied that St. Pauli also implemented a very good defensive scheme even if you see what they did in the crucial minute with a quick counterattack that was carried out ending with Eric Smith's cannon kick it was a little surprising for me fortunately in the end Dortmund could still take control and get 3 points in today's match.

It was a very interesting match even though it was only more of a half-court game as Dortmund were in control but this match showed that indeed good defense is also an interesting spectacle from St. Pauli.

In statistical terms, both ball possession and chances were more on the side of Dortmund. But credit must be given to the defensive line of St. Pauli. It was very disciplined, managing to keep off attacks from Dortmund for long spells.

Not only that, St. Pauli proved that they could provide threats through quick counterattacks especially when Eric Smith almost made a surprise with his hard kick in crucial minutes. This moment proved that even though most of the time they were on the back foot under pressure, St. Pauli is still dangerous when given the opportunity to attack.

Fortunately, they still had the game under control and bagged 3 points. This game just proved how, even with much domination from one side, solid defense from the opponent can pose its own nature of challenges. St. Pauli might just have discovered that for big teams, organized defense plus swift counterattacks could turn into powerful weapons. Which is pretty interesting.

Bayern Munich to get back that trophy will not be easy for them after all what had happened in the past. Many clubs have now seen that if they put more effort in their games, they can win the league title also, so it puts Bayern Munich in a very tight situation to put more effort also into their games as none of those teams will want to take things very jokingly when they meet. Bayern Leverkusen did it last season and won the trophy, but it won’t be an easy one for them to repeat that again this season. The Bundesliga is now a league for the survivals of the fittest, so to win, you have to show that you can be consistent and see yourself to the end of the season with that form.

Dortmund is the favourite in this match, and that’s what everyone is saying, and in truth, they are very good and in better shape than their opponents in this match. Although Dortmund did not start the season very strong this season, their performance in the Champions League is going well, and that gives us more hope that they are going to beat St. Pulli in this match.

After this match, Dortmund will play against Real Madrid. And now if the Dortmund coach takes the Champions League match more seriously, and rests key players in Dortmund's squad for the match against Pauli, Dortmund has a small chance of losing points against Pauli. But if Dortmund play their best XI against Pauli then I believe Dortmund will be able to beat Pauli easily. Pauli is weak both in attack and defense. This is why everyone is considering Dortmund as the favorite in this match. Barring an accident, Dortmund are going for an easy win.

You know the Champions league in not the same as the Bundesliga, although there are playing against Real Madrid in a home game for Real Madrid so definitely they will be less chances for them to win the game.

Furthermore everyone expects Dortmund to win the game today against Pauli and they did, atleast there were able to secure the 3 points which will help them to go more far in the league. Although everyone expected more performances from Dortmund, because I wast not expecting to see two goals. That is why we call it a game if not Dortmund deserve to do more than this, although is still not bad I think the still have to focus more on the game that they had in Champions league, which will be in a week from today.

Everyone is expecting Dortmund to win this game with ease, based on statistics that show Dortmund is much stronger than St. Pauli. However, the truth is that Dortmund cannot be easily predicted in the Bundesliga competition. Their performance is not as great as it is in the Champions League. There have been matches where almost everyone expected them to win, but they ended up losing or drawing.

Today, let's see what happens. Dortmund deserves to win this match because they have everything it takes to outperform St. Pauli. It would be a good idea if Dortmund could focus on the Bundesliga the same way they are focusing on the Champions League.
There is absolutely no doubt they will win this game, they are looking like the most strongest teams in the league these days if you ask me, I know that sounds weird because of this we are going to end up with is a lot more important to look like a team and they look like a team.

Bayern looks like they are good talented people and they are not looking like a team at all and they are winning just because of the situation they are in doesn't mean they are great and that should be something trouble. I believe the best thing to do right now and that should be the most important part and there is nothing wrong with this. In the end we are going to see a team which is looking like we are going to have Dortmund win this game.

Bayern and Leipzig looks like they are the best and I think we are going to end up with a great return and shouldn't really be problem at all. We are going to see them win and Dortmund will win too and this week will look like Bundesliga will be looking like a great week for us gamblers. We shouldn't really be looking like they are going to end up with a bad situation. The current situation is a bit different and difficult and we could end up with a great situation for putting money on.
This week will be a good week in the Bundesliga, almost all the big teams should get three points especially Bayern Munich, it is very important for them because of their draw games in two weeks back.

Burssia Dortmund is about to open the winning luck for the big teams, they are about to get their three points even though they just take the lead after some mistakes that helped FC St. Pauli to level up 78th minute of the game, and Dortmund were able to take the lead again five minutes after the equalizer. This is a great performance from Dortmund, they are showing some consistency and they are given us signs that they are fully back, maybe the new players are now fit and used to the team’s style of play.

Quote
I believe this is the type of week where we are going to end up with a lot better result and shouldn't really look like this week every single week, we are going to end up with a lot more trouble when the time comes because not every week will be similar. We are going to end up with something which would be a lot better and we are going to end up with a lot better and shouldn't be really this easy every single week and we are going to get a better result each time.
That’s the beauty of football, expect anything provided the game is still going on and that’s why it is always been loved. The Bundesliga do always have entertaining results, and this week will not be excepted because we will see some good results and performance because fans missed a lot.
