Underestimate- nothing
I think Bayer Leverkusen start this season shouldn't be seen as a slow start because they lost their last match at home, they made a terrible mistake losing from 2:0 to 2:3 when they had opportunity of winning game but that shouldn't be seen as a problem unless they make the same mistake in their next game. Xabi Alonso should be prepared to make an adjustment and improve the performance of his team in doing his he should motivate his team to face the task ahead since they will be playing in the champions league and defending their league title would be the most important thing for them to do this season since the league is looking so difficult already.

Bayer Leverkusen is pretty slow this season and with how Dortmund and Bayern Munich are warming up, that is part of the reason that it is going to be very tough on them this season winning last season does not mean that they will be able to win this season because a lot is looking changed this season and even Dortmund we always be a pain and that is why Leverkusen  chances are becoming slimmer  but even if they are unable to win there is a lot of assurance that they might be among the top three or even the top five the title does not specifically belongs to anyone it will always be carried by does that deserves it and you have to seriously work hard, and Bayern Munich to have their eyes on the title but the stronger club will claim the title

Xabi is doing all the necessary preparations for the continuation of the season and even Kompany to and with all the comments he would be looking for ways to actually clear himself, and also to prove himself because people already see him as a failure even if we know has not just that there is a lot of pressure and he strategy might not work it happens sometimes like that and if it does not work then you will see the club failing, the champions league will also make them want to also engage well to see if they have a chance.

Klopp was seen in Dortmund training recently. It was really good to see him back there even though he wasn't there to coach.  Smiley  Klopp is very valuable for this team and the fans. He also knows that.

One day maybe he might be back to manage. However if Nuri Şahin is doing really good things there in that time then Klopp's team would be different. I don't think he would return to Liverpool after managing them for around 10 years.

But I would love to see him managing a German team again someday before his retirement. Because for now it doesn't seem like he has left his job for good.
Good news for Dortmund fans, but confusing with all this. I mean, if Dortmund really wanted Klopp back, when they heard the news that Klopp wanted to leave Liverpool, Dortmund should have made an offer to the coach. But looking at some of the news, it seems like this will be a strategy that we will not know and give a nice surprise when secretly having an agreement between Klopp and Dortmund. And for Nuri Şahin, I am actually not sure if he will really be able to make a change but we will see in the next few games whether he can maintain Dortmund consistency.
I am getting confused with the whole thing of Klopp saying he needs to go on break from coaching and not up to 6 months he said this, he was seen in Dortmund. Is it that Klopp wanted to leave Liverpool and don't know how to tell the management because he feels, they will not allow him.

However, it might be that Dortmund called him to come over after they heard he is on break to persuade him be the coach of Dortmund. I am looking forward to see where this news will lead to of Klopp in Dortmund.

The victory of Leverkusen as Bundlesliga champions last season was magical which has boosted their confidence in the league but about this new season it's very obvious with how they are starting off that they can't repeat the spell of retaining the title no matter how they try because other opponents like Bayern Munich, Brussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig look very set and prepared for them, especially Bayern Munich because to them it's somehow a challenge that Leverkusen had to strip them of their birth right and letting Leverkusen retaining it this season is very unlikely.
Bayer Leverkusen still has the oppurtunitty win the Bundesliga because the league is still young. They still have the quality players since they retained most players who made them champions last season. What is certain now is that they will not maintain their unbeaten run this season since they have already lost a game. The Xabi Alonso side was defeated by RB Leipzig making them to lose three points. The league is competitive with good sides like Bayern Munich with some of the best players in Europe. The surprising leader of the table now is Heidenheim, while Leverkusen is in the eighth position.
Yes, the opportunity is still there for them as long as they can recover quickly after the defeat they experienced. But I am sure they will be able to bounce back quickly because Xabi Alonso has that mentality. I base it on his mentality when he was still a professional player and I think that will make him able to bring it when he becomes a coach now. Xabi Alonso also certainly wants to prove that what he got last season was not luck, but it was thanks to his hard work and the players and they deserved to get the title. The pressure that comes on them will be even higher, because after their success there will be many who expect them and also the opponents who will face them will be more motivated to beat Leverkusen.

No, Xabi doesn't need to do much, believe me if the defeat in yesterday's match was just a small mistake when Xabi used the wrong goalkeeper. I don't know whether my opinion is right or not but Leverkusen still has a very good appearance from the attack line and even the defense line is still very stable. However, I support your opinion if even though last season was successful using what Xabi used, it would be better to still have other alternative strategies so that they cannot be defeated by opponents in the next match.
In the upcoming match Leverkusen doesn't need to try too hard to get 3 points but remains consistent without being defeated even though it's only 1 point but that's much better than losing points. Against Hoffenheim should be an easy task for Xabi.
Changes are needed to make Leverkusen a strong team like last season and maybe Xabi Alonso should look for alternatives when the game does not match the strategy he expects. The rotation that is done must be really right so that they don't have to lose points or get one point. Next Sunday's match is indeed much easier because they will face Hoffenheim and in terms of quality Leverkusen is above them. But even so, Xabi Alonso must also be careful where in the match must be a revival point to achieve full points as an effort to maintain the opportunity to occupy the top three or five rankings. The defeat when facing Leipzig must be a lesson so that Leverkusen can play much more consistently in the upcoming match.

I agree with you that the next match will not be too difficult for Leverkusen to secure full points over Hofenheim, you have said one of the right reasons where the difference in team quality is quite far where also in the last few seasons I have seen Hoffenheim who are always far from good in the competition in the table.
I predict that it seems that this match will be used as an opportunity for Leverkusen to restore the trust of their fans after they were defeated by Leipzig last week, but of course Leverkusen should not underestimate Hoffenheim because after all unexpected things are very possible to happen on the field, so they must continue to play objectively and carefully to avoid unnecessary mistakes, but in general I am sure that Hoffenheim is not too difficult an opponent for Leverkusen.

Leverkusen's gameplay is very clear under the direction of Xabi Alonso, now it's up to Leverkusen's players to play a bigger role in maintaining consistency and improving the team's overall performance. The defeat to Leipzig was the beginning of their progress in this new season, there are still many matches that they have to play. The first defeat is not a problem for Leverkusen, moreover Alonso knows very well what he will do so that his team can perform well in all lines and get full points from match to match. Therefore, this season Alonso certainly realizes that it will be a big challenge to defend the title they won last season. It's not easy, especially since several elite teams in this competition are ready to compete until the end of the season. Especially Bayern Munich, although handled by a coach who still needs a lot of experience. But still, their chances are quite big to dominate the Bundesliga again. At least, it seems that this season the Bundesliga is more exciting because several teams are ready to defeat each other and become the top of the standings until the end of the season.

I agree Bayer Leverkusen slow start to season is worrying but I don't think they are out of running yet. Their way of playing has some problems but they have good team and smart coach Xabi Alonso. It is good that they kept Alonso and their best players. But they need to fix their weaknesses fast to keep up with strong teams like Bayern Munich and others. Bundesliga is always tough and this season will be very exciting. Leverkusen fans have reason to be hopeful but team needs to play better to keep their title. It is too early to give up on them but they need to improve soon.

This is a season of proof for Xabi Alonso and his players, where his managerial qualities and the mentality of the players will be tested to the limit. Expectations for Leverkusen are still quite high, even though in their last match they lost to Leipzig, I think that was lucky for Leipzig. The challenges faced by Leverkusen this season have indeed increased, defending the title and trying to talk a lot in the Champions League. Without stability in the team, it is impossible for them to achieve their targets in both competitions at once.

I do not see Leverkusen defeat as a step back, but the defeat must be an important point for Xabi Alonso, that there is something that needs to be fixed in their game. Winning and losing is a natural thing, all teams must feel it, but the most important thing is how they get up and start the journey to victory again. For more than one season Leverkusen has never felt "what defeat is", so Leverkusen will learn again how to get up. I still remember, when Xabi Alonso bravely decided to stay with Leverkusen and rejected several offers from top European clubs, he still believed that they could do something historic again this season.

Bayer Leverkusen have had an underwhelming start to the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign, and it's a sign that they're going to struggle this season. I know no team can stay undefeated forever, but I think Bayer Leverkusen's way of playing is problematic. If they do not quickly regain their form and improve their weaknesses, Leverkusen will find it difficult to defend their "throne" in Germany against the return of Bayern Munich. Besides Bayern vs Leverkusen, Dortmund vs RB Leipzig are also qualified to compete for the Bundesliga championship. Therefore, this year's season will be very interesting.
However, the fact that Bayer Leverkusen's leadership succeeded in retaining "chief architect" Xabi Alonso, as well as not losing any stars in the main squad, is the basis for fans of this team to hope to defend the Bundesliga championship.

Usually every team that starts the season will first look for their best form of play, because they have rested too long and there are also changes in the composition of the players, whether significant or not, but still the changes will affect their appearance, that is if we look at it from the team's side itself.
When we look at it from the opposing team they face, they must also have changed, either weakening or getting stronger, it will also greatly affect the match. How many matches have we seen that have different results in each season from the same 2 teams. That shows that there is indeed change, not only in teams that are considered weak, but strong teams will also feel the same thing.
Leverkusen have already felt the effects of the change of season, after a long break and changes in the line-up causing their performance to dip slightly. Those who performed brilliantly last season without suffering a single defeat actually performed differently at the start of this season, their first defeat was just suffered when they hosted Leipzig at their headquarters. In fact, the best opportunity to find the best form of play is when they play friendly matches, so that the coach can find the best tactics and strategies when the new season starts. Changes in performance can happen to any team when entering a new season, teams that finished in the top four last season will try to strengthen their squad in the transfer market with the aim of being able to compete with the defending champions.

Changes in performance will make the competition more competitive or vice versa, but what is happening in the Bundesliga at the moment is actually leading to positive things. Bayern Munich who failed last season, have strengthened their squad to win back the Bundesliga trophy, Leipzig are also starting to show an improvement in their performance, Stuttgart and Dortmund will be ready to provide a surprise. The increasingly solid competition will present an increasingly exciting match, Leverkusen must try to return to its best form if it wants to win the trophy for the second time in a row.

Leverkusen was a name of terror for all teams in the Bundesliga last season. No one expected Leverkusen to perform so well all of a sudden. Another big reason why Leverkusen did so well last season was that the big teams didn't have much of a plan for this team. However, with the performance of this team last season, each team planned separately against Leverkusen, which resulted in this team losing one match at the beginning of the season.

I said last season that Leverkusen won't be able to perform as well as they are doing in the Bundesliga this season, and I've been putting Bayan Munich ahead ever since. But I must agree with what you said, any big team can be beaten by Leverkusen so every big team has to be careful and make no mistakes especially Bayern Munich if they want to win the Bundesliga title next season.
Leverkusen were the Bundesliga champions last season so they were used as a reference or benchmark for other teams when they wanted to improve and rise so from what we saw last weekend when Leverkusen was defeated by Leipzig is proof that the team has been able to make changes to cover this season while Leverkusen as a whole did not make many changes so their quality tends to be the same as last season.

However, regarding the strength or the most respected or wary team in the Bundesliga this season, Leverkusen is still one of them and they are even favored to defend the title this season and for Bayern or Dortmund are teams that are in the process of improving so that all possibilities are still possible to happen.
The point is that the competition for the Bundesliga title this season is likely to be fiercer than last season, I think it will be better and more interesting.
Although Leverkusen lost early in the season, I believe this team will stay in the title fight until the end. Leverkusen and Dortmund could cause problems for Bayan Munich this season, although they have the potential to be better. Every team left Leverkusen out of the plan last season and Leverkusen took advantage of that opportunity to go undefeated last season and secure the title. After each team played two matches in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich is number two in the points table, Leipzig is third and Dortmund is fourth.

I did not discuss the team that is in the first position because this team will not be consistent and will be defeated by the big teams.

That’s still a long way to go even though Jurgen Klopp is the one who coached Dortmund before he coached Liverpool. But I wouldn’t think it would be bad for Dortmund if the management chose Jurgen Klopp to coach Dortmund again even though it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon considering Nuri Şahin is the current Dortmund coach. And if Nuri Şahin can bring Dortmund to achieve better achievements, of course Dortmund will not let him go because any team will definitely consider that more than trying to replace the coach with a new one.

I see the problem is in their defense, in two matches they have conceded 5 goals, this is quite worrying and must be fixed immediately considering the Bundesliga is now increasingly competitive, because if we talk about Leverkusen's attack line, it can still be relied on to compete, I have no doubt about it. And of course Xabi Alonso must have known and evaluated the weaknesses in his team and of course they are currently fixing what went wrong to get back on the winning track. As you said the league is still young, only 2 matches have been played out of 34 matches. The chances of defending the title are still very high.

This summer, however, the players were not completely rested. Because there was a European Championship and the players worked hard in the European Championship. The league started afterwards and the players were not yet fully acclimated to the league and started to struggle. Since many of the Bayer Leverkusen players played for the national teams, they were a little tired compared to other teams during the summer. However, they will recover slowly. They must play very well in every match to make up for the three points they lost against Leipzig.

The season before last, Stuttgart was close to relegation from the Bundesliga, and before betting on them I would think more about this than about the fact that they were successful last season. Union Berlin also flew high and then fell low the following season. High volatility is the norm for non-top clubs. In the case of Stuttgart, the easiest bets in my opinion are BTTS and Total over. I have also already managed to make several unsuccessful bets on favorites (more solid ones like Real), but now it’s the beginning of the season, so surprises are more frequent than expected results, I take this calmly.

Quote
  • Hoeneß at the wheel
  • Attacking might
  • Shrewd summer signings
  • Germany core
  • German teams can trouble Real Madrid

Stuttgart is always a very interesting side to watch. They come with surprising talents and rarely stay consistent with the excitement. But in all fairness to them, they are always a very well-managed side.  They have a great coach in Sebastian Hoeneß, their squad is great and they always refresh their squad with newer talents.

Now they had a rough start to the season, and things get difficult when you face Gladbach because they do things which are really unexpected. They make football very fun to watch for sure. I personally won't recommend betting for Stuttgart until they find their sweet spot. The squad right now lacks form, which they hopefully can gain in the coming days.

Out of the 18 amazing teams, they are now 14th, which isn't a good look at all. I hope they deal with their issues in the squad, so they can return to good football at their earliest convenience. There is an international break now, which they can use to get the best out of players, also players who are specifically struggling in some situations can recover and see better days on the pitch.

Read all of the 5 reasons here---> Bundesliga Official

It's a funny list of reasons, because Real Madrid have a lot more upside in every single one of those. Of the successes of German teams, for some reason I only remember Dortmund's victory (I think in the quarterfinals of the Champions League); in other cases, Real simply destroyed all German clubs, including Bayern.
Overall, it doesn't matter how Stuttgart plays in the Champions League (I don't think they'll make it into the top 8, but they won't be eliminated right away either, so only the playoffs will matter), they need to improve their situation in the Bundesliga - 6 goals conceded in 2 games is a bad sign.

The last reason from that list should be a joke. Calling Stuttgart could trouble Real Madrid is a joke. Their current stats showed how they're being toothless after Guirassy joined Dortmund. They were losing their sharpness. they have been so poor in bundesliga. also, it's an away game for them

It's a fortune for Stuttgart if they manage to enter the R16. They'll have two intensive weeks. First, an away match against Madrid. Then, a home game against Dortmund.

It seems like most of them want to see a different result and I think it still doesn't make sense even if Stuttgart has a miracle. Real Madrid has something more inexplicable when in the champions league and all teams know it is impossible to beat Real Madrid. Seeing Stuttgart's performance in the Bundesliga is still haphazard how can they have such deep thoughts?

I think those two weeks will still not produce any points for Stuttgart, the fatigue of thinking about two competitions that have not been able to improve their fate is one of the reasons they will not perform optimally. Rather than thinking about the chances of the champions league towards the last 16, I think it is better for Stuttgart to think about how to avoid falling into the relegation zone.
