I totally disagree with that, a team cannot win the title just by mere luck. You can’t be winning all teams you’re facing through the the league without losing any match, if you’ve won in the first round of the game, then they should be more prepared to face you in the second round and make it difficult for you to win the match for the second time. Bayern Leverkusen were in top form last season and they won the league honestly because of that performance they put into the game throughout the season.

The difference you’re seeing for them to be in this position now is because their performance last season was better than what they’re playing now, so you don’t need to bring the idea of Bayern Munich not in their best form last season and they’re in it now as excuse for them to be at the top of the league standings. Bayern Leverkusen still has that lots of hope to still win the title this season, so I don’t see them been any less than last season that much.

Bayer Leverkusen is doing very well but not very because they are 5th position not even among the top three so there is no shining for them this season, it's going to be a new set of people to occupy the position they were last season.
