If Dortmund and Bayern were in form and just look at this season that Bayern is more committed to the competition this season and that is one of the things that have lowered the expectations of Leverkusen because they know they will not be able to actually keep up.

And the people they thought they will be able to climb over got a new coach and things changed the only people struggling really hard now is not more than Dortmund, why people are surprised is because Leverkusen did not show any weakness last season so things seems to be a little different this season and it is not as if they are not putting enough effort is just not working out at least they played a good game game today and winning fc 5:0 is just one excellent game, and it looks as if they were seriously prepared for against fc even the shots on target are crazy so this shows that from the beginning it was not meant to be easy for FC.

They are placed 4th and there is literally no team below them other than maybe Dortmund that could challenge their position based on their results, Leipzig has the advantage of playing just in the Bundesliga but a ton of matches against better opponents and Frankfurt is not a powerhouse anyhow by any meaning.

Bayer Leverkusen are doing well, although I know that they are not doing great as last season, but still, we can’t say they are not in good form this season seriously. They are doing well. However, I’m expecting Leverkusen to be in the top 3 position in their match. I’m thinking they will replace Frankfurt very soon in that table, so Bayer Leverkusen are doing well this season as well, but you can just say they are not doing like last season, saying they are performing well or they can’t end in a good position. I don’t believe with that one.

It's not a downgrade, it's their normal form, the last season was a freakish event that would not repeat itself no matter the team, Bayer finished 21 points in the previous season against Bayern and and 13 points 3 years ago, then the average for the previous 5 years is close to 20 points!

The major aspect I'm worried about Bayern Munic is in their defense because they concede a lot of goals which is not too good for a serious team like them. Today they have conceded two goals in their home from a small team like FC Heidenheim which they ought to win and stop from getting those two goals at first half. Even though Bayern Leverkusen is finally winning them 3:2, it is not impressive for me and that is why I agree with you that they are not really doing so fine this season. In terms of scoring, they are good just that there is always room for improvement.

Bayer Leverkusen did very well last season by finishing the League matches without a single defeat, but they couldn't keep up with the form because they couldn't compete for the Bundesliga title this season because of the bad results they have been getting in the Bundesliga this season.
What is the problem behind Leverkusen inconsistency this season? I think it is because Alonso and the management didn't sign players to support these players they already have, and now fatigue and lack of form has started affecting the player's performance in general.

Leverkusen leveled the two goal they conceded before the end of the first half, I was very shocked as they conceded two goals in the first half; nevertheless, since they are able to recover before the end of first half, I will be expecting them to win the match.

Now the score is indeed tied even though the first half is still ongoing and has not finished, but everyone will not know whether Leverkusen can increase the number of goals in the second half by making a more solid defense. Because in the first half Leverkusen's goal was first broken into by two Heidenheim although not long after two Leverkusen players were able to immediately equalize. However, I hope Leverkusen can increase their advantage in the second half so that they do not feel embarrassed by their own supporters because this match took place at Leverkusen's headquarters.

Well now it is no longer Leverkusen's era, I don't know about what happened in their squad but what is certain is that I saw that at the beginning of the season they played the same way as last season, maybe Xabi thought that the strategy was still effective to use while he didn't think that some other clubs had known his strategy which made them know the gaps in Leverkusen's game, and the point is as we see that now they look very blunt in every match even when playing against weak teams and of course the current situation with the consistency of Bayern Munich in getting three full points in every match makes Leverkusen's chances even smaller to defend their title, as you said that Xabi will not be able to catch up with Bayern Munich, that makes sense considering their points difference is already too far.
