They must have prepared for that because after all Leverkusen are the defending champions so they must have thought about the possibility of Leverkusen being a contender for this season but in the end such things won't really matter because for Kompany he just has to show and prove himself that he can be consistent and can improve the performance of Bayern so that in the end the championship will follow because indeed good performance and consistent wins will push them slowly to that path.
As for their competitors, they must be aware that anything is possible because not only Leverkusen are being watched but some clubs like Dortmund and Leipzig are also always predicted to enliven the competition at the beginning of the season not to mention some dark horse clubs although for now we still don't see the movement of unexpected clubs after Freiburg and Union Berlin currently cannot do much for their performance unlike the previous few seasons.

I think that this are only rumors that Omar Marmoush leave Frankfurt to go at Manchester City , Frankfurt would be stupid for doing that.
And on top of that i guess that Omar Marmoush wants to play as much as possible and this will be not the case in Manchester.
It would be a step backwards for Frankfurt to lose there top striker , special right now where they on good place in the table.

Even when people were saying Bayer Leverkusen was not going to get to the top of the table this season, I was just looking, because when the season started, Bayer Leverkusen's performance was not as good as it is now, and everyone was saying they would experience a hard time this season. However, currently Bayer Leverkusen has already taken over the second spot of the table, which is going to be another pressure for Bayern Munich right now. Bayern Munich needs to work smart and win their matches because Bayer Leverkusen is already close to them.

4 points is not a big difference, and since Bayer Leverkusen's performance is strong and their performance is back, seriously, they can get this point and get to the first place in the table. I think that for Bayern it all comes down not to the confrontation with Bayer, but to the task of winning the Bundesliga, and despite the fact that Bayer is now the closest pursuer of Bayern and they have a very good winning streak, I do not think that Bayer has a great chance to defend the champion's title. It will not be easy for Kompany to confront Alonso, because given the victory last season, Alonso has more experience.

The rumor might be true because Manchester City is a big team, and every player will wants to play in a big team under a big manager, and Manchester City will be needing any player to strengthen their squad because of the poor performance they are having this season, and they need all the help they can to make things work for the team which is why they will be seriously in need of players.

Just like any other player, Omar Marmoush will also want to be in a big team, and this can be his opportunity to secure the bag, therefore, if he wants to leave, he should be encouraged because he is young and have a lot of potential.

Few months ago Omar Marmoush name was appear as the player who into radar of several big clubs and indeed those who want him mostly are Premier league clubs including Liverpool but i don't think Manchester City will buy him because they have Haaland and if Omar Marmoush moved to Manchester City i am sure he will be hard to replace Haaland position as the main striker and he potentially will only being an subtutition player for Haaland

I think Omar Marmoush should be stayed at Frankfurt at least until this season ended this because Frankfurt is still needed him and currently Omar Marmoush has scores 18 goals in all competitions which this is proven he has important contribution for Frankfurt and i fear if Frankfurt will sell him this January it will have any effect to their performance considering Frankfurt doesn't have any good striker instead of him

There are some recent rumours out about Omar Marmoush to leave for Manchester City this month.

I don't know how valid those rumours are though but I wouldn't be surprised with that. He is having an incredible season with 13 goals and 7 assists so far. And Guardiola is also looking for new players recently so let's see...

If Frankfurt lose one of their biggest goal sources in the middle of the season, it would be a huge hit to them.    Their form is already dropping these days. They would absolutely need to fill the space of such player in that case if they want to be successful this year.

Four points is very small to call it an advantage at the moment, especially when there are still many matches to play before the end of the season. If Bayern Munich loses like one or two matches  or even lose one and draw one, and Leverkusen wins those matches, Leverkusen will take over the first position on the Bundesliga table from Bayern Munich. So, it’s not really an advantage at this moment for Bayern Munich because there are still many more games to fight for.

A few weeks back, almost everyone was saying that Leverkusen couldn’t fight for the Bundesliga league title anymore based on the points Bayern Munich was ahead of them. But in just four to five matches, everything changed, as Bayern Munich started losing points while Leverkusen gained three points in every match for about five matches now.it is possible for Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga trophy this season if Bayern Munich does not put in more effort and play at full strength in every match they have left.

Bayern Munich must always be vigilant, leading the standings with a 4-point advantage is not safe, Leverkusen seems to continue to put pressure until the end of the season. The intensity of competition in the second half of the season will clearly increase, mediocre teams also have the potential to make surprises, so changes in position in the standings are very possible again. Therefore, it is likely that Bayern Munich will find it difficult to lock the trophy before the season ends. In my opinion, compared from last season, the competition that occurred in the Bundesliga this season looks more competitive, the last season, Leverkusen managed to win the Bundesliga without any strong pressure from other teams and even Alonso squad managed to win the league when season not yet over, but this season, Munich journey to win the league is not an easy job because after all, Leverkusen is ready to take over the top of the standings at any time, So far the two teams are only 4 points apart which means that every match will be very crucial for them including the match in week 22 later, I think the second half of this season will be very tight and both teams must really focus for on maintaining their chances of winning the trophy in end season.

So far there is no safe point for Kompany because Leverkusen still has the opportunity to catch up on points and a four-point gap is not difficult to catch up on because once they lose and once they draw, the points for both will be the same. But Leverkusen must appear consistent and must not suffer defeat when they want to catch up on points and it may not be easy to appear consistently at their best throughout the match. Both teams must fight harder to secure points and if one of them makes a mistake it may benefit one of them. Kompany must show his quality because Bayern Munich must secure the trophy this season and vice versa with Leverkusen who will try to defend last season's championship title.

I actually want to believe that Bayern Munich knew it much earlier before now that they are going to have Leverkusen as their biggest rival and contender for the trophy this season so making sure they are going to be able to stay ahead of them was one thing that was supposed and going to be their priority this season and now the the distance has been closed to the point is just four point difference is some how disturbing but then Munich still have the chance to still staying ahead.

Leverkusen never started the season badly just that they dropped a bit in performance but they picked up after some games and since then they have been in a good form. They have only lost one match this season alongside Bayern Munich which is to show that they were never in a bad form since the season started. Xabi Alonso has already built a strong squad since last season so they are just continuing from their last season performances and experience and it seems they will become the strongest rivals against Munich since Borussia Dortmund that used to be Bayern Munich's strongest rivals have not been stable for quite some seasons. Bayern Munich will surely feel threatened by Bayern Leverkusen's consistency but the problem Leverkusen will face is Bayern Munich's goal scoring streak, like they have huge goal difference and they have also conceded the least goals so far.


I don't think Borussia Dortmund will be hard for Bayern Leverkusen to win because even though their form is not too bad but their energy can not match up with that of Leverkusen. Perhaps, since Leverkusen is aiming to cover the gap between them and Bayern Munich they will play Dortmund with all their strength in order to win. Bayern match against Monchengladbach will be an easy game for Munich, so they will still continue at the top till they meet strong opponents like Leipzig or Eintracht Frankfurt who are third and fourth position in the Bundesliga table. Bayern Munich and Bayern Leverkusen may seem like they have equal strength but Bayern may not give Leverkusen same opportunity they gave them last season.  

It will impact on Bayern Munich's prepareness in Champions League too. If possible, Bayern Munich will try to create as biggest point difference against Leverkusen and challengers in Bundesliga as possible, as it will help them to focus more on Champions League in knock out phase. With only 4-point difference, Bayern Munich can not get rid of pressure from Leverkusen in Bundesliga.

It's small difference and Leverkusen after bad start in this season, gradually come back and after 15 match days, they already returned to a second position. They again are competiting directly with Bayern Munich as a biggest competitor for Bundesliga title. Other clubs like Frankfurt, Leipzig, Mainz began to fall down when the season goes longer.

Bayern Munich and Kompany will have to be very careful with pressure from Leverkusen and if they play badly, Leverkusen will be ready to reduce 4-point difference and even take over the first position.

Four points is a fairly close distance and Munich themselves also know that they must be able to excel even more in the rest of this season so that Leverkusen can no longer catch Munich in the Bundesliga standings. But of course it will not be easy for any team in the rest of this season because in the second half of this season all teams will try to make improvements in order to be able to reduce the distance with each rival and be in a much better position than before. I am also pretty sure that Kompany is feeling a little more pressure at the moment because Munich are still quite close to the rivals who were able to win the Bundesliga last season.

That's right, there are still quite a lot of remaining matches this season and many possibilities are possible to happen so what is currently seen in the standings cannot be a benchmark for anything, in fact I tend to look at the strength of the team and the consistency shown and it cannot be denied that in terms of strength Bayern Munich and Leverkusen are currently quite balanced and the reason Bayern Munich can be 4 points ahead of Leverkusen in the current standings is because Leverkusen started the season badly but now they have found their best performance so that is a big threat to Bayern Munich.
Whatever it is, I am sure the competition for the Bundesliga this season between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen is very fierce and even in terms of percentage, the two teams are quite the same in my opinion.

The competition between these two teams looks very tight, just like last season where Bayern Munich and Leverkusen fought for the Bundesliga title. Bayern Munich must perform consistently if they do not want to lose their first position, while Leverkusen also tries to continue to put pressure on Bayern Munich. Their meeting later might determine their results. If Leverkusen wins against Bayern Munich, their points difference will be closer and they have the opportunity to defend their title for the second time.
