True at least everyone can take an example from Leicester City, don't put more hope in the Bayer Leverkusen club, because every season all clubs have improvements in the capacity of the game that changes so it is not surprising with the current condition of Bayer Leverkusen, they appear less consistent not only in the Domestic League but also in the European League so bad. so in my opinion this season will be the Bayern Munich season, I have no doubts about my predictions about who will deserve the Bundesliga title this season because Bayern Munich is far more superior than Bayer Leverkusen

Although Bayer Leverkusen can't repeat what they did last season in the Bundesliga this season, I just hope Bayer Leverkusen can still be a candidate for the title this season with such a fierce competition because it will also be very interesting to see in the Bundesliga this season. I will not make any judgments about Bayer Leverkusen at this time because they still have a lot of games to play this season so the chance to be in a better position in the Bundesliga standings is still there.

Bayer Leverkusen was exceptional in their performance last season having been able to win their first league title last season with their good form and not getting defeat, the similarities between their performance with that of Leicester City is not much different just that Leicester City faced some defeat when they won the league unlike Bayer Leverkusen who won the league without a single defeat. The expectation that people are having on Bayer Leverkusen is because of how well they were last season people still expect them to defend their title since they have the same number of players in the team that helped them to win the league but I hope they don't disappoint their fans since they are not playing up to the expectation this season.

Leverkusen will not give up this early, they are going to keep trying, just because they had a few bad games here and there, doesn't mean they suck, they are going to keep trying and do better eventually and we will see them do fine.

I think they are going to end up with more wins and will go on a winning streak as well, which will see them either at the top again or near the top at least. This depends on Bayern as well, they are playing decently this season compared to last season and they are not looking to make mistakes, if they end up playing worse in the future then we could see them end up with a much better result, if we see them have something not so simple then we are going to end up with a lot more trouble.

Germany fans have taken their opportunity to say goodbye to departing legends Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gündogan and Thomas Müller this evening as their side face the Netherlands in Nations League action.

The four huge stars all revealed their decision to step away from the national team after losing to Spain in the EURO 2024 quarter-final.

That of course marks the end of an era, and in true style Germany fans took the opportunity to thank all four of them before kick-off at the Allianz Arena.

They are definitely looking like they will win this one, not sure if they will or not, but looks like they probably can. This is not really a crazy outcome, we could definitely see them do fine. Leverkusen isn't look as dominant as last season but they are not a team to ignore neither, they already got a tie with Bayern as well, so they are fine.

However, we can assume Bayern going to end up getting the title this season, there aren't any other teams which are trying to make it happen for them, can definitely see them get the win they want.

Bayern Munich has a new coach, Vincent Kompany, he was a good defender and I assumed he would be playing a very defensive system as well, didn't know him last season, but I knew he relegated last season, and when you are at a bad club that relegates, most of the time you defend very well or try to defend very well, because wining isn't always possible, so defending, parking the bus, and hoping for a counter attack goal is usually the aim for those level of teams. Bayern plays quite attacking compared to this, didn't expected them to be this offensive but they are learning how to score yet again after they looked like they forgot it last season.

You are right. It is the first time that Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title. Xabi Alonso made a history for Leverkusen by leading the team to be the champion both for Bundesliga and DFB Pokal. It is also the first time Leverkusen won 2 trophies in 1 season. However, it is not totally the same as the story of Leicester City in the season 2015/2016, Leicester City only won EPL trophy. Meanwhile Leverkusen almost won 3 trophies. Also, Leverkusen truly has a strong squad under Xabi's management, they didn't win the trophies by the luck. They still could show that they are strong team until now. Even if they are not doing a perfect season anymore in Bundesliga, they are still a candidate of the champion in the league. Leverkusen also could perform well in UCL league phase. It is very different with Leicester City that they were like disappearing in the next season. As far as I know, they only ended up in the 12th place next season (season 2016/2017).

Sure, we shouldn't expect too much for the win of Leverkusen in Bundesliga anymore. But I think the season just begins, there are many matches left. Leverkusen still has many opportunities to compete for the title. I also no doubt that Leverkusen can finish in the top 3 at least. So, it is a bit strange that you claim Leverkusen to have no chance of winning the league. Why? 

Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga title last season was their first, the same story as Leicester City who surprised many by winning the PL at that time. Then, after what they got, many people started to have higher expectations for them for the next season, but they couldn't fulfill those expectations. That's what happened to Bayer Leverkusen ATM, so don't expect too much from them, it will be a burden for the manager and the team. I think they still have a chance to finish in the top 3, but no chance to win the Bundesliga this season.

Actually Leverkusen also brought in some newcomers in the last summer transfer window, although not players with big names. as rich as Leverkusen is, they will not buy players with a transfer value of around €100 million. Leverkusen management certainly knows very well that the next season's title competition will be even more difficult and challenging, but they must also consider all aspects of club management. which in the end, they only bring in players who they think have good prospects and performance, but with an affordable budget. we can flashback to the last summer transfer window, even a defender or midfielder was priced at around €50 million. especially those with big names, their transfer value will certainly be very high. it is difficult to bring in quality players with a transfer value that is relatively friendly to Leverkusen, they are not as rich as Bayern Munich or PSG who are ready to pay for the players they want to bring in. from my point of view, Leverkusen has a creative team and they are hard workers. the problem is, their defense is currently declining. maybe Alonso already has a name for them to recruit later, even with an affordable transfer value. or, Alonso will only evaluate the basic weaknesses of his team and then try to find a formula to fix it. IMO, so far they are still playing competitively, it's just that their defense is easily penetrated by the opposing team and they have conceded 12 goals in 6 weeks of matches. that's the problem, Alonso has homework to fix it.

A last-minute goal to draw or lose the match always hurts like hell. Omar Marmoush might get the title of the next Egyptian king, man is killing it this season, he has just been different. Marmoush, as most other games in the league this season has been amazing in this game too. A sudden counterattack got him in a 1v1 against the keeper, and the finish couldn't have been better than that, truly.

The match was really exciting, as Frankfurt were trying to challenge Bayern from the get go, defended tight spaces pretty well, and had the 2-1 lead. Olise played brilliantly to score the 3rd Bayern goal, too. I think Bayern needs a bit of time to reconstruct after some off form, in both the UCL and the league. I believe they will turn to winning ways real soon.

One of the problems most teams that won titles in previous seasons do have is depending so much on the players that won the trophy for them which makes them feel so reluctant to sign new players against the next season and it's a very wrong mentality. Bayern Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga last season gained them a whole lot of money that they would have used to solidify the team more as against this season, knowing fully well that the competition and stress will be higher due to their numerous involvement in a lot of competitions and matches. We have seen some clubs make similar mistakes in the past, i think Leicester city did same mistake of not signing quality players when they won the premier league and it really affected the club's performance after. However, there is still time for Xabi Alonso to consider signing new players in next transfer window so that the team can still be very competitive in the matches that awaits them next year.

He should have known this from the end of last season and he should have added some few more players for this season campaign because he should have known that they will be participating in more competitions and more matches which would be too much for the players. I hope he considers bringing in more players by January else they will struggle more than they are currently and might lose more players to injury.

It will be difficult when you don’t add more players to your team and expect to achieve same result, every  teams would have updated their squad and so it will be difficult to easily win them that why you have to keep updating your squad in order to maintain same results. Leverkusen didn’t move much players in the transfer window but what happened was that they shouldn’t have added more strength to the team and shouldn’t have rely fully on the old players, they are good players but they need support so as not to feel fatigued. I don’t expect much from them this season so i don’t i don’t think they can win the league again.

I knew that Manchester United management are cooking something that is why I wasn’t bothered again despite their last meeting that made it clear that they will not sack Ten Hag, I knew that it was because they don’t have proper replacement yet, and I know that they will keep looking for coaches that will take over from him before they sack him.

However, Sebastian Hoeness decision is good since he is under contract with Stuttgart and will like to monitor the team’s performance till the end of the season. He will be thinking of the high expectations from him, and seeing teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea will make him scared because they are big teams that he will need to compete with. He might changed his mind, but his decision is good to avoid ending his coaching career.

Yes, they did really waste the high chance to become Bundesliga champions a few times, and that was at the end of the season due to the club's inconsistency in the match. Especially in 2023, it was really suffocating. They missed the chance of winning after being drawn with Mainz, where there were actually many opportunities to excel but they really missed the goals. and worse, missed the penalty kick.

Oh yeah anyway, Man United is interested in Sebastian Hoeness, VfB Stuttgart coach to replace Ten Hag. But clearly, Hoeness rejected it and still wants to stay in Stuttgart. Unfortunately, Stuttgart's performance at the beginning of this season is not as good as before.

I am given up with Leverkusen this season, their start of the season was not impressive as last season, they already have one defeat so far and they drew against the bottom team in their last match after leading 2-0 from the first half, this show that they are losing focus or their performance is going down because of lack squad depth and the players are tired  and they need more players to help them maintain their performance because the competition is tight this season as Bayern Munich is back on form and they will also be playing in the Champions League; they need to sign more players come January.

I think bayer leverkusen themselves are not actually doing bad but its definitely clear that Bayern Munich have definitely improved their playing style than that of last season although not still as potent as the Munich team we all use to know few years back but better than last year. The German league is experiencing a new change which have occurred only ever once for a very long time when Leipzig also became champions of Germany.

The competition in the middle of the Bundesliga this season is very interesting. Many clubs are separated by only one point, so the competition is really getting tighter. This surely adds to the dynamics of the league and the clubs at the top cannot ignore it. The middle clubs can really be a threat now because they can take advantage of the moment or win against big teams. This tight competition also proves that the Bundesliga is not only about Bayern Munich or Leverkusen but also how other clubs can surprise and challenge this dominance. If that condition were to continue, then the top clubs must be more vigilant because just a single defeat can shift them from hitherto comfortable perches.

And last year, by the way, they missed the opportunity to win the Champions League, although the very fact that they reached the final was already a great success. Stopping one step away from the title is always very painful, but in the coming years this is not a threat, as they will be far from the titles   And as for international titles, it seems to me that despite the fact that the Bundesliga has become more competitive and spectacular, the strength of the clubs on the international stage has become less.

The Bundesliga title race is getting fiercer after Leverkusen last season was able to lift the trophy for the first time. This is a motivation for other competing clubs to be able to do it. Out of all the six game they played this season in Bundesliga, there were just able to win 3, so still they are doing there best, but they need to focus more if not the season will not end in there favor.
