The two teams that last season gave us a surprise will meet each other today to try to get 3 points in the second week of this season, Leverkusen last season became an unbeaten team in the domestic league even to this day they still hold an unbeaten record, while Leipzig who usually always end the season in the top 4 zone are still able to maintain their consistency today,  The two teams previously managed to win 3 points in their first match and I think it will be a real test of how both teams can maintain their current position in the Bundesliga standings, even though Leverkusen is the favorite in that the match but I think Alonso needs to remain aware of Leipzig game which is quite collective and of course Leipzig will also put strong pressure on leverkusen defense later.
Last season the two matches they played in the league were won by Leverkusen with the same score of 3-2, so this shows how Leipzig is a team that is indeed not worthy of being underestimated by Leverkusen at this time.

yes you are right leverkusen is still a candidate club for the title and so far they are still consistent in their game, the players are still the same as before as well as the coach, there is no pattern of play that has been changed by xabi alonso. leipzig can be counted on in this game but if the opponent is leverkusen the chance to win is slim, most likely leipzig is targeting one pawn even though it will be difficult because leverkusen will not want to share points other things leverkusen's brilliance last season I doubt they can repeat it there is no guarantee for that especially some bundesliga clubs are also getting stronger so there must be a club that surprises and beats leverkusen this season.

And we will see that again when Bayer Leverkusen hosts RB Leipzig today in a home match because Leipzig is also a team that is so troublesome for several other big teams so Bayer Leverkusen will also play as well as possible at home today. Bayer Leverkusen is showing seriousness and they still have a very strong interest in winning the Bundesliga again if they play hard and acquire the required points then I don't see anyone stopping them but if they don't meet the requirements then there will be a serious problem because there are teams that have the same target so if Bayer Leverkusen can not defeat them to meet their target then because it is now like Bayern Munich is also targeting that same trophy and Dortmund and everything is no looking as if they want their glory back that is for Bayern Munich and Dortmund that have lost their place in the Bundesliga and that is one of the reasons they are given kompany a lot of pressure and for now the performance is still in place so its hard to decide what exactly will happen. Bayer Leverkusen's game against  Borussia Monchengladbach was not impressive for me because the guys had the chance to have a draw game, Bayer Leverkuse's last five games are not an impressive one for me, and their game against RB Leipzig will be waiting to see what Bayer Leverkusen will play today.

It is not always easy to replicate a good and successful season. Only few teams in Europe usually does that. Going unbeaten is not an easy thing, Leverkusen managed to achieve that that last season, but it doesn't mean that they are to repeat that this season. Going unbeaten in a domestic league is an extraordinary achievement, so anyone expecting Leverkusen to repeat the unbeaten of last season this term is mistaking. At some point they are going to lose matches, but that's not going to be this weekend. Leipzig is a strong team but they are not stronger than Bayer Leverkusen at home. No matter how strong the match will be, I expect Leverkusen to win the match with a score of 2:1or even more.

There is only one match left, I think it is too early to talk about Leverkusen's performance. Not every team plays well in some matches, sometimes teams may not get used to each other. But I don't think we saw anything like that in the first match, they managed to win the match. Leipzig was one of my favorite teams, I really liked their performance last year. But I don't think they can win tonight's match, Leverkusen will be the winner

The spirit of victory is still burning within the Leverkusen players, they have just managed to achieve a dramatic victory at Monchengladbach headquarters and managed to beat Carl Zeiss Jena in Round 1 of the DFB Cup. Leverkusen will act as hosts in this match, of course their enthusiasm will increase when playing in front of their own supporters.
I admit, Leipzig is not a weak team, they are very difficult to beat. But if Leverkusen can maintain their best performance, victory is not impossible to achieve. Last season's success in winning the Bundesliga Trophy and being an undefeated team should be used as motivation this season, even though in the end they failed to maintain their status as an undefeated team, at least they have tried to repeat the success achieved last season.

I think compared to the farmer league (ligue 1) we can actually say that the bundesliga is actually a true farmer league today, if we pay attention in the last 13 seasons so far, ligue 1 which is indeed dominated by PSG is suprisse every 3 or 4 seasons  once because there are other teams that are able to break PSG dominance, while in the bundesliga we can actually see how Bayern Munich almost dominated the trophy for 11 seasons which in the end last season succeeded broken by Leverkusen, so we can say actually Bundesliga as a true farmer league compared to the current Ligue 1?

The revival of Leverkusen last season certainly gives us hope to see a more competitive competition happening today in the Bundesliga, currently Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Leverkusen are expected to continue to be able to give us a more interesting spectacle and of course there is no longer a league that is only controlled by one club, Bayern Munich performance which has been in decline in recent seasons should be able to provide opportunities for Dortmund as a eternal rival But when Munich experienced poor performance, Dortmund also experienced it so that Leverkusen who previously never considered a title contender, was able to make good use of it last season. 

Leverkusen is still at the same level for this season and I don't think Leverkusen will immediately lose easily at home when facing Leipzig. Because with the same management under Xabi Alonso, of course Leverkusen will still be a great team and this season they still have to be considered strong in the Bundesliga even though Leverkusen could lose in one or two games. Because to repeat last season's achievements will clearly be quite difficult for Leverkusen even though the possibility is still very open.

Coach Xabi Alonso would have to find means to make his team create and also maximize opportunities. The game with Champions League side RB Leipzig will be a good test to show how the team is improving. Leipzig also has three points in the Bundesliga after edging over VfL Bochum scoring one goal and conceding none. Leverkusen will be without captain Lukas Hradecky but hopefully will do a good job.

Stuttgart must be quite upset after failing to win in the first match against Freiburg and they must complete their obligation today to get their first win when hosting Mainz at home. No need to be ambitious at least they are 2 goals ahead then the 3 points will be easier to lock. On the other hand, considering last week they conceded 3 goals then what must be more focused on is their defense line.

Next Dortmund will go to Werder Bremen and this should be an easy match. Werder Bremen is still the same as before and the results we can see they only played a draw before against Augsburg. On the other hand, Dortmund who came with high confidence after defeating Frankfurt certainly wants to continue their winning trend.

Well, the bookies give pretty good odds and I think this is the right time to bet on Stuttgart and Dortmund with the mission of certain victory over their opponents.

Leverkusen's match with Leipzig will be tough. Leverkusen seems to be performing less than last year. So of course they can be contenders for the championship but I don't expect an undefeated championship like last year. They may probably suffer defeats this year in this race with Bayern but it is obvious that they are under great management with Xabi. It seems like it will be better this year.

Bayern Munich is one of the best teams and they have good quality star players and good players in every position but Leverkusen doesn't have known stars but this team is well balanced in their respective positions. If every position wasn't strong, they wouldn't have won a tournament like the German league last season without losing a match. In the same season we saw them perform best in the Europa League although they lost in the final but it was not a big deal. This season Bayan Munich and Leverkusen are tough rivals but Bayan Munich will be ahead in this season according to my prediction.

Bayern has been having a difficult time to convince a great coach to sign a contract with them and I think this is the first time I have ever seen that Bayern's offers got denied by so many coaches in one summer. Nobody was really interested in working with them and then another problem is that the number of top trainers is very small. Klopp is gone, Guardiola is working with City and Ancelotti with Real Madrid. Who else is there? I know some say that Mourinho is good, but seriously his time is over it seems. There is a handful of very talented coaches, but all not of that level that Bayern was used to for a while. They had van Gaal, Heynckes, Guardiola and Ancelotti. All of them are great and true authorities with their own character.

Nagelsmann got kicked out despite the fact that they initially planned the future with him, but Kahn and Salihamidciz decided to sack him for very questionable reasons. Tuchel never got along very well with the team let alone the bosses. Tuchel isn't made to get along with people. That's another problem, but it works for as long as there is a lot of success.

Now they are stuck with Kompany and the problem with signing unexperienced coaches is that the players' acceptance is normally lower. But you need players to accept the coach on the highest level. All the other great European teams to at least have someone who has been more or less doing well. PSG has Enrique who won something, Real Madrid and Manchester City, no need to talk about it. Arne Slot is an exception, but at least he reached a Europa League final and to be honest, Liverpool had no chance to find a replacement for Klopp.
