Very respectful and salute to Kompany. We see how people doubted him when he first became the coach of Bayern Munich. Xabi Alonso's men has been playing really well in recent times. If you see the last match, they have played like they were the best team in the Bundesliga. Schick has played extra ordinary in that match. He alone scored 5 goals . Die Werkself dominated the whole match, they had 67% possession in this match, 20 shots, and 12 of them were on target. This was a greatly one-sided match and I did not expect this match to be so one-sided. Looking at performances like these I agree with you that they are definitely going to give Bayern Munich a lot of problems. We, or at least I thought that Bayern is going to have an easy time this season. But It seems like this is not right. If Bayern makes any slip-up Leverkusen will be there to take advantage of that. And this alone is going to keep both the teams honest.

That's the reality. We can see the Bundesliga results in the previous few seasons and we will see Dortmund who are almost always in 2nd place in the standings. And the closest is the 2022-2023 season, Dortmund and Munich have the same number of points in the standings, but only Munich wins in the difference in the number of goals scored. In terms of performance, they have decreased I think. They have to fix everything if they want to compete for the title, at least for the coming season.

Munich's ability to win the title is very high despite Leverkusen's sudden recovery because they have found their way back to disturb Bayern Munich in the title race, Bayern Munich lost against Mainz have really affected their points gap, and now they are left with 4 points difference. Bayern Munich are in their best performance and I'm confident in them to lift the trophy, they have waited for so long to find themselves in this stage because for Bayern Munich to missed the last season trophy is unusual because the place is made for them. I still have hope for Dortmund because they are the only two teams in the Bundesliga that are competing for the title, but this time around Dortmund have gathered many competitors that are for the title, they have a huge points gap away from Bayern Munich, 11 points in very wide and I don't think Bayern Munich will stick so low to lose their performance, it not possible, Dortmund should only find their way to top four to make it to the Champions League.

How has Pep failed? I don't think what Pep is experiencing at Man City currently can be called failure. He's just going through a difficult phase, which is normal for any manager. If this performance continues till next season or on to another club then you can say he's failing, but for now, he's not. 


The point difference between Dortmund who are in 6th position and the 3rd position is just 2 points so I believe if they sit up they can go higher up the table, but I agree with what you said that they can't compete for the title. Dortmund is too inconsistent to be a title contender. Even if they were just 2 points behind the league leaders I won't trust them to win the league. As an institution, Dortmund is not ready to win the league.

Vincent Kompany is really quite good but if we compare with other teams, of course it is quite difficult challenges this season even though there is no Real Madrid and Manchester City, but they will rise if they enter the play off to compete again, champions The Champions League for Bayern Munich is very difficult but it is not impossible for him to achieve, the opportunity is quite wide and he can still try hard.

I agree with you because ever since Vincent Kompany became Bayern Munich head coach, he has done marvelous work and helped Bayern Munich to remain at the top of the Bundesliga table. I also thought Vincent Kompany would not perform well at Bayern Munich because of his poor performance with Burnley in the Premier League, but with what he has shown so far with Bayern Munich, he is capable of guiding Bayern Munich to win this season's Bundesliga title. Maybe it is the type of players Burnley had that made Vincent Kompany perform poorly in the Premier League, but since Vincent Kompany got better players at Bayern Munich, his performance is totally different and good.

Dortmund may still have a chance to improve their position in the standings, the points difference is also not far. But for the trophy competition, I think Dortmund may be a little behind. It will be difficult for them to catch Munich who are already leading or Leverkusen.

Bayer Leverkusen is surely now better club with their way of performance and results now in coming round we will be having big game which is going to play at the Dortmund headquarters and this will give view how things will be gone for both clubs because Bayer Leverkusen looking for challenging Bayern Munich and Dortmund looking for having better result and spot in league table.

So far we have seen dortmund as the biggest challenger and rival from munchen in the bundesliga, but the rise and ability of leverkusen last season has actually eliminated the position of dortmund as munchen's current rival, leverkusen and munich only have a difference of 4 points and Leverkusen who are ranked second certainly still have a great opportunity to continue to be a threat to munchen at the top of the table, I think their success last season showed that they have the quality and depth of a qualified squad, so with an effective strategy, of course Alonso squad still have a great chance to coup the top of the Bundesliga standings, I think with a difference of 4 points then Munich must be able to maximise every remaining match they have, because if not then Leverkusen will be able to take over the top of the standings at any time.

Of course Leverkusen will still be a threat to Bayern Munich, because after all this team is the team that managed to make them lose the Bundesliga title for the first time after 1 decade they managed to defend it. In addition, Leverkusen also does not have many changes in the line-up and they are still with the same coach who last season led them to become champions in the Bundesliga. That means Leverkusen still has the strength and capital to do the same thing, even though at the beginning they slipped, but it was not a big problem because they were able to return to their proper performance.

Bayern Munich only suffered one defeat in the Bundesliga. They are also not bad in the Champions League. When you think about it like this, we can actually assume that the manager is successful. He actually did had a good record for himself already and maybe that is what the management of Bayern Munich saw and decided to bring him on board with the believe that since he has been able to bring a small team out of relegation in a prestigious league as the premier league, the chances are very high he can do even better if given a bigger responsibility with all the needed support to get him productive, and now he actually didn't  fail the management of Bayern Munich as he has proven himself worth although lets see if he gets a contract extension then we can be sure Bayern Munich has trusted him that much.

What I observe right now is that Kompany's problem is just finding a way to maintain player performance. We can see from Munich's recent performances that they often concede goals. While at the beginning of the season Munich appeared more stable.
Well, in my opinion Kompany is just having difficulty rotating players in order to create a stable performance. So the decline in performance is very visible even though they still have a fairly strong attack line but the defense line must still be considered.
If Kompany cannot overcome this problem, it seems that Leverkusen will take the opportunity to shift Munich.

Yes of course some season is meant to be good for some teams that's the fact and the other otherwise as you said but the major thing is that a team should not allow things to go too bad, Buddy sometimes it is almost impossible not to sell this players, football teams may be going through financial crisis and the only way to survive it, is by selling some of them to receover, we should understand most times it's not that a club really want to seel thses players it just happens because of circumstances beyond their control,  though am not saying that's good for a football club to sell their good players but when there is no option left then anything is possible.
Alonso has done a good job so far and am looking out for more of that from him, I will not be surprised if things finally goes in his favour this season because tension has started building up and it may lead to more good results if Alonso and his team consistently do the needful.

As for Dortmund I don't know what their fate will be this season, there inconsistency is becoming unbearable unless I see change then I can retrace my statement but for now Dortmund isn't giving their best, they are supposed to be one of the major contenders of their league title this season though I won't underrate anytime but time will tell.

I am one of the people who doubted his ability to steer the affairs of a big club like Bayern Munich. I was concerned about his ability to deal with the club management and big players who are almost his age mates. My concern was that they might not respect him or give him all the support he needs. But he has performed well regardless of the challenges he has faced.

Bayern is not doing badly in both the Bundesliga and the UCL. They might grab the automatic qualification to the next round if they can win Feyenoord and Slovan Bratislava in their next games. If they fail to do that, they might have to settle for a playoff.
