I bought a few months ago for long-term investment Ripple. But now my portfolio has decreased. I have not received another profit from this coin. I hope that in a few years the ripple will make me rich

Reading back a couple of pages, but I don't see anyone who mentioned Cardano or XLM.

I guess we do all need to practice predicting a bit 

Rather than going for proof of stakes coin go for a coin that has real use case like eth itself

For this moment the best altcoin for long invest will be Ethereum. If you hold this coin one year you will get huge profit

The bank seems to still not care about bitcoin, maybe the financial institution believes that bitcoin share of the market continues to be really small and never to consider, other than that the financial institutoins eems that bitcoin is illegal so that all countries will never use bitcoin.

Correct, besides bitcoin there is only a handful of coins that are worth holding for the long term, Ethereum and litecoin are some of the coins to hold for the long term, every other altcoin can be held for some time but you must always be ready to get rid of it if it begins to dump.

Litecoin already reached to 90$ levels and there is no way to back if bitcoin can keep this price levels. Lisk is risky decision in my opinion. Waves is sleeping giant and one day it will compete with ethereum. Neo needs more time in order to be considered as potentially big.

Personally I find Electroneum project really interesting and I am curious to see how will all work out after the audit from hackerone has concluded.
What attracts me to it is the ability to mine only with your smartphone, current price is $0.035038 on coin market cap and maximum supply is 21 billion.

I would put some monney in these Coin:
60% distributed here: LTC, ETH and ZEC
40% here: KMD, ZEN, TENX and MOD (and maybe some LUXCOIN to have more risks)

Yeah, you're right ! If we expect 10/15/20k$ BTC, it's a good coin I think. But wait and see.

Since it is recommended to buy long-term investment, then I suggest buying zrx or stratis, the two coins has great potential, compared to other coins there is still much room for growth.

eth and EOS to watch out next year

Picking an alternate coin that is bound for a long term run seems so uneasy since cryptos are volatile. But in my own opinion, i would pick alternate coins that has enormous amount of market capital like Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Ripple (XRP).

That's clear. When you go through the coinmarketcap you'd find something other than the quoted coins to be more potential. So upon one's own personal perspective its good to invest into altcoins that are available rather than sticking to a particular user opinion, because none is sure about the market.

Ethereum is a good choice for long term investment. It will grow gradually.

I suggest that it is good to invest Ethereum. As I observe all the alt coins, ETH is the only one foremost. And as far as I know, many investors now hold ETH, because they know that Ethereum has a good future.

you should find your own best coin by searching for some information about coin, but to avoid the risk of losing very large you should invest in bitcoin or eth.

for me the best long term investments except Bitcoin.
