According to me both are subjected to market risks and if you are investing in these kind of markets then you have to be prepared for ups and downs. and I think investing in crypto currency is good idea.

Maybe both, because each has different fluctuations. Perhaps the concept is the same, but the risks and potentials are much different.

Both are ways to earned and there is no wrong with that, the most important thing is that if you enjoy and feel comfortable on them. I am pretty sure that you will not get the answer, unless you enter it. But if you ask in this forum, most likely all will answer that crypto is better than shares. And maybe you'll get another answer if you ask the shares community.
In life and economy of money, physical or online. I can say that crypto is the best investment. Decentralized so you have the power to choose and analize which coin you prefer to buy and hold. Can earn profit so high and could be bappen any time any where.
My oppinion, the good one is invest in crypto. But you have to find out first is it a good crypto or not buy learning the project through their website and whitepaper.

Both are good, if they like investment with medium to high risk. But I prefer crypto, because it is more liquid and can be transacted at any time.
But of course the risks are higher, and there is no guarantee here. But I think it's worth the prize.
You are on a cryptocurrency forum so the majority of the answers would be supporters of the cryptocurrency investment, shares seems like a safer way of investment, while crypto business seems more risky but with more profits.

You can invest your money on cryptocurrency and you could use for another passive income to increase your money. Everything is good ideas for investment but cryptocurrency investment is the best ideas for increase your earning and less risk if your are invest on cryptocurrency. You have invest on old cryptocurrency and never take risk by investing on new cryptocurrency or ico project, maybe you can loss your money with fake ico project, many ico was scam and you will loss your money.
Yes for that you have to invest in cryptocurrency because the market is still unstable. meaning there are so many opportunities you can make money. And then the market is still down. So when it skyrockets again, overflowing, you get more money. 
Due to the cryptocurrencies dipped below the horizon, this not funny, but this is the good time to buy the cheap coins, and holding it until the price boost earn your profit.
