Indeed, I heard that in fact only 5% of traders are successful in the long run. The main factor in this is the emotional one. But still, there are some absolute rockstars in the trading sphere, hats off to them.

Because of the greedy many have lost their investments in the year 2018 because they put all their investments into the projects they invested. Because of the hope and attraction of big profits and the opposite happened because the cryptocurrency market had fallen and many were losing because it.
Wrong projects, wrong decision.
2018 will be the greatest lesson for the investors and traders.

Greed has always brought losses to people in any aspect, not just trading. And we're never going to hear the end of it. Greed will always have an opening especially when it's connected to money.
then the question, all the people that come here are the ones that want to get profit. then, who wouldn't want to get profit more from target that made? I think everyone must have this trait, but it all depends how we limit it.

I think it's about your psychology. It's not easy to get over the missed opportunities. People become very greedy to not miss again, but they may end up losing a lot eventually. It's not easy to ease the greed, but staying away from the crypto for a while may help.

OP mixed the concept of a trader and an investor. Although greed kills the profits of both market participants. To avoid this, you need to have your trading/investment strategy and in no case deviate from its follow.
Fear and greed (also fear) control the market - is the old truth.

Traders are always making loss because of their greed and in the crypto market it is very much required to keep the patience until you made profit if you are holding the coin. But, traders must act very quickly while he is trading on cryptocurrency because of highly volatile. The trader should hold the coin maximum 10 minutes while he bought the coin. If not making any profit exit with minimum profit.

Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??
Any trader should know the goals and go to them , always the growth of the coin can not continue , you need to be able to control greed

I think that is not greed, it gambling their money in hope to earn more. Whether you like it or not, its in the nature of human not to be contented on how small they can profit in their investment.

I would not say that all experienced traders are very generous.  On the contrary, the more they earn, the more they are greedy.  Therefore, I believe that everything depends on the person and not on inexperience.
you are right, I have experienced it myself. when trading on the market and in good and favorable conditions, it made me greedy with what I had gotten. in daily trading, profits are those that must be earned even though it is only 5-10% that we can get, but greed will not make it all achieved.
Reason why many traders loses the opportunity to earned as they continue being greedy not to take the opportunity to sell while they have the chance to get the benefits, instead they continue to proceed waiting for much bigger value, greediness will bring you much bigger chances losing instead of winning position.

I agree with you. With greed makes someone think unrealistic. Because everything he wants must be his, so he tends to be reckless and deceitful.

Greed will never do good to anyone in any sector. I have seen many people suffering losses just due to their willingness to want more. The theory of wanting more is just detrimental in the lives of people. People should learn to be content with whatever they have and whatever they get. How greed will lead you to a loss in cryptocurrency? For example, if you have held a coin which increases to $ 1, $2 and $ 3 and reaches $20 over time. But you do not sell them in the hope that it will increase more. Then suddenly it decreases in prices and goes down to $ 0.50. And you sell, then you suffer a loss.

naturally, greed brings loss for everyone, dont know a person who won because of greed Grin
speaking about traders, everyone knows it but this is a human nature we are greedy sometimes it is hard to stop
when we trade and get profits and the market is still good, that makes it difficult for us to stop, and greedy for greater profits. we can lose moments at any time, we must be careful and keep our ambitions.
Yes, everyone wants to make quick huge money. That’s why a lot of them were caught up with the bear market after the 2017 bull run. A lot of people who got in then were expecting the price to keep moving up at such speed, they forgot that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are something volatile, that it won’t continue to rise forever. They forgot that a time will come when the price will fall. And that’s what happened and they all lost their money in it.

Greed is the result of inexperience. Probably every experienced trader in the process of becoming a career faced with the fact that he was overwhelmed with greed and he made the typical mistakes beginner. It is precisely the absence of knowledge and a counting strategy that leads to this.

I would not say that all experienced traders are very generous.  On the contrary, the more they earn, the more they are greedy.  Therefore, I believe that everything depends on the person and not on inexperience.
Human satisfaction really on that high which is hard to reach. Greedy will be just like a disease and it might eating us until we realize it.
Greed is present to all of us and not just for traders. Yes they want more as they've never satisfied for small and so they'll working hard, and succeed.

There is no argue with that, that's the life we are now today and we are just practical enough cause money is very important and we can't live without it.

If you go to study trading rules, greed and fear are mentioned as two most common enemies of a trader. When there is a null market and a trader is running into 100% profit he does not sell there and does not even lock his profit rather he goes for searching of next target as he wants to make it 500% greed does not stop him there even it touches 500% and one day it drops like anything and trader keeps on waiting for this recovery but unfortunately it does not happen and in fear of losing all his amount he closes the trade in loss. This is the story of most of the traders. Trade should be taken with a proper plan so that no factor like greed, fear or emotions effect it.

That's very common for aspiring traders. However, those sticking to their strategy play well in any market.

Of course everyone has their own profit target. Some have targets per day, per week and also monthly. There is nothing wrong with large or small targets. As long as it's profitable, of course it's not wrong for someone to have their own target. If you experience a loss that is the risk obtained.

And once the target has been reached, a trader should end the trading session. In the past when bitcoin reached its peak and most altcoins were also increased in prices significantly, there were some greedy traders who insisted on holding their coins instead of selling them even though they already had the chance to get a good return because they believed that prices would continue to rise and never come down. Greedy is indeed bad if we feed it all the time.
