@Stephan224

I downloaded and installed v0.9.5.0 I think from your new website yesterday morning, then in the afternoon when I restarted it offered me the update to v0.9.6.1 - which seemed to apply just fine.

I have no new 3 indicator buttons in the "Edit Indicator" page.

I have no update.zip file.

I would post a screenshot but not sure how to embed one in a post here.

FUTURE REQUEST: Can you implement auto start of server as service so there is no need to login into windows? Anyway if my computer restarts how can I set trade server that will start also?

I do not expect to see anybody having problems with the system resources at all. The trade server handles everything multi-threaded and memory usage is limited. At the moment i do run it here on my own server existing out of a old Intel Atom 1,6GHz and 2GB. It runs with the alt-coins enabled and it handles 6 bots at the moment. (this is near the upper limit for my atom, those cpus are very slow)

It may look weird to poll all the alt-coin prices at once, but we do have more plans with it. Just wait and see, it will be (i think) 2-3 weeks but there is something planned here that has not been seen in the market yet.

@orac69:
Well the matter of fact is that it is possible to uninstall and install without losing any of your settings. We made a few buttons inside the troubleshooter to make this work in case its needed. But most of the times it will not be needed, because of the build-in updater. The updater will take care of the update itself, you as the end-user do not have to do a thing. The updater does exactly like you suggest, the update makes an backup copy then it updates the files. After this a restart is done and you are ready to use the software again without losing any settings.

The file "update.zip" is only there if the software tries to do an update. In your case you did an clean install and then all sources are already up to date, an update is not needed in that case.

I find it a little strange that you did not find the interface changes, because at a clean install i am sure they must be there. Are you sure you look to the "Edit indicator" page?

@All:
Tomorrow (Wednesday) i will push another update to solve the problem with MtGox. This seems to be the only bug at the moment so i want to solve this as soon as possible.

Something else...  i am happy to report that i have setup a team here who started to develop an alternative interface. This team will be trying to make a interactive interface based on jquery. So improvement is on its way, but i can not give an estimate to it. The interface itself will be implemented as a separate theme, so its becomes optional.

Stephan,

You said - "I recommend unpacking the file "update.zip" manually"

Where is this update.zip file?

I downloaded the latest "HaasonlineTradingServerV010.zip" and extracted everything to my install folder and restarted, but I dont see the trade bot summary OR the new 3 buttons in the indicator reports.

Why dont you write an installer which takes a backup, then simple searches for and updates everything as needed, exiting / restarting as needed...?

The old uninstall, reinstall thing from the previous STB, or now manually copying files around is getting a bit annoying.

I run it on a dedicated Pentium G3220 with 8GB of RAM.  I left the settings at 5000.

I see it throttles the CPU to 50-60% and then it goes back down to around 2%.

It doesn't seem to be causing a problem. (so far)

Would there be a way that allows you to check only the alts you want to track?  It seems kind of weird to have an all or nothing option.

Perfect!  I will give it a spin and see how it goes.

@Stephan

I'm confused. Was this part supposed to be in today's update or is it something you are working on releasing?

I see very few things to trade on Cryptsy on 0.9.6.1

Edit:
This is what i am looking at right now: (and whats monday coming at the update)

Please note there is 1 coin missing here, and that is the 42-coin. That specific coin is giving problems because of the name, i am not really sure if this can be solved.

Can you confirm if the mtgox api integration works? I see it connected but doesn't show anything in the wallet.

I can not confirm this myself here. It is NOT supported the interface of the wallets and open orders. I will fix this with a update the day after tomorrow, this will also solve the interface update issue we have right now.

Hi,

In the previous STB there was the option for "all in" so that whatever profits you made in coin or in fiat could be "reinvested"...  What happened to that option?

Also a suggestion - on the Trad-Bots main screen, how about showing a summary of each of the totals and an overall total of Profit made, last buy / sell etc. so you dont have to "drill down" into each trade bot and add them up individually.

thx

The "All-in" is on my todo list here for this week, so that is coming back. The same applies to the last buy/sell prices.

We are designing a dashboard, but for this week i did made some changes to the overview of the running trade-bots. I recommend unpacking the file "update.zip" manually, because you should see it. (i expect this will go "wrong" by a lot of users)

Edit:

BTW "fee" is also on my todo list here for this week.

The Haasonline Trade Server has been updated to version 0.9.6.1. All users of the Trade Server please restart your “engines” and “shift gear” to the latest version. This new version will bring support for trading at alt-coins (like DOGE, Moon, Points), it will add a small indicator benchmark, some interface issues where solved and some small improvements where made to the interface. Last but sure not least: again 2 new indicators are added to all licenses. Smiley

All changes are listed in detail on the "Change log" page.

BTW: Some user reported that there interface was not updated. In case this happens you can always unpack the file “update.zip” manually to force the update. The file “update.zip” can be found near the application EXE file.

BTW: The help can be usefull for settings thing up like the alt-coins: https://www.haasbot.com/trade-server-help/

Thanks Stephan!

I will restart the server now and see if I got the new indicator buttons.

Update: It updated to .0.9.6.1 but you are correct. I don't see the HTML change.  I will try flushing the browser cache first then try your quick fix.

@SmokedMolex:
I can advice, if you got the update, to go to the "Edit Indicator" -page. On this page you will find 3 new buttons which allow benchmarking of an indicator of the past 30, 60 or 120minutes. With this new ability its possible to tune the indicator. By doing this you can get better near the market signals you want to have. Because i can indeed confirm there is a difference, its a slight one but its there.

BTW
If the 3 buttons are missing but the version is telling its updated then its very likely the updater failed on the html pages. I do see some various test results here, depending on the old version. But by unzipping the file "update.zip" located near the EXE gets this problem solved. (its a quickfix, in case it happens)

@Stephan,

This bot doesnt seem to be following any of the popular charting sites.

When I set MACD histogram for EMA 12/26/9 @ 15 or 30 minutes the bot will buy high and refuse to sell.

Why?

Does the bot need to be restarted between changes?  Does the server need to be restarted when you change indicator settings?

The only thing I can think of is that when I make changes to the bots they are not reading in the new changes.

@Stephan:

there is a new URL for Cryptsy API requests. Maybe you should update the STB license bot.

@ Stephan: after resetting as you said the problem still persist with all no graph and all that things as described earlier, maybe that is related to the new URL too???

Yep STB working again but cryptsy api doesn't seem to work anymore?  Sad

I am unable to confirm it yet, but i think they are at work on the API right now.

Last night when i went to bed i did setup a test for the Trade server to poll the alt-coins of Cryptsy. The Trade Server is much more advanced with polling because it has a double fall-over before it says it fails. But i did saw a lot of failures. So my best guess at the moment is that they are working on it.

BTW I did not update the API of Cryptsy to support all the new coins for the STB, is there any interest to get this supported?
