Bitcoin already reaches its goal by making a peer to peer network using blockchain technology. But I believe that it will not stop eventhough it is already complete. It will not stop to make some innovations and resolve all problems regarding with transaction, charges, security and specially legality.

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

It is not about the value of the bitcoin, it is about the technology behind the bitcoin. The blockchain technology is the reason why cryptocurrencies are becoming popular. It has technology to improve the current payment system.

in my opinion bitcoin hasn't reached its goal. I've read an article why creating bitcoin is to avoid inflation and monetary. well now the world economy is still not stable many countries are suffering in poverty. and the number of people who know bitcoin is still small. I hope bitcoin will remain and last forever so that more and more countries are adopting bitcoin and blockchain for the advancement of their economic systems.

I think it‘s more complicated than only a ‘price goal’. Bitcoin has created for many different reasons. I mean, ‘to make people rich’ was not what it’s promised in the first place. Thinking the goal is only about ‘price’ is very shallow. Let’s try to widen our vision a bit.

Bitcoin has a long way to achieve its goal, bitcoin is still developing and growing up. Even though bitcoin have many obstacles in its way, it did not stop and always continue moving ahead, when all people worldwide would accept bitcoin it would be one of its goal.
the purpose of bitcoin is intended for the whole world. well, but at the moment I am not so sure that bitcoin has not been accepted worldwide. but until now, bitcoin continues to grow to continue to reach its goal

Well said. Will be a while before bitcoin, well every coin, is a household term, and used as such. Will be interesting to see in 5 years time, which coin comes out on top. Bitcoin maybe, possible, but not a certainty. Goverment policy will have a big say, in which direction we will go, and certinally also which coin(s) comes out on top.

I do not think that bitcoin has reached its goal. In terms of price this will happen when it reaches a million mark per bitcoin.

When governments banned bitcoins, the bitcoin price fell sharply. Only a small impact of the market will reduce bitcoin prices

I think no , because we can see that how much price of the bitcoin was in the early years of the bitcoin entry in the online world of internet , at that time value of 1 btc was even less than $1 , so here we have a big difference between that time and present time gap , herre price is increased due to only increasing demand .
No doubt that time to time bitcoin team made experiment and changed the old things in bitcoin technology and implemented better better things to improved it , but with that lots of cryptourrency entred in the field of the cryptocurrency and that made a big competition for the bitcoin to develop by its own market , people goes towards the another coins market ( Because of Thier own new new better features that what bitcoin have ) .
So a  type of small less growth we can see with the bitcoin , but overall bitcoin is growing as it should be but not exactly what it would be .
Hope in the future with the ETF implementation technical idea will give a better grow for the bitcoin by potential as well as by technology .

It is not the case yet but I think that we are heading in a proper direction well seeing all those companies accepting bitcoin as an alternative payment method so you're already able to buy things and pay with your Bitcoin.

The goal of bitcoin is to replace the fiat currencies with decentralized currency. It is happening now, and it will be fully success in the future. Acceptance among people is the key thing here !

I think the goal has to set up the people behind crypto. I am sure they will not be content with this much acceptance only.

If I can only understand correctly, on whether a BTC has achieved its ultimate goal? I'm afraid that these questions do not have a clear answer, because nobody or anyone knows the true purpose of the BTC. It can not be called a sum, like a dollar or euro. Because at the same time and day, BTC is performing a function of propagating a kind of electronic money in the country.

Nobody knows for sure the final goal of BTC. It can not be called a full currency

Just as long as we still have cash and cards in our wallets, bitcoin has not reached its goal. Bitcoin was designed to be a digital currency capable of replacing fiat. Part of the indication that Bitcoin has succeeded is the point in time when we become cashless and cardless. Do you agree?

We know the bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has progressed very fast but bitcoin has not reached its goal yet. I feel like the bitcoin is being liked by the people. Bitcoin will go up and up.

Bitcoin has lost much value this year..Moreover, this value is not only monetary..People's confidence in the market began to decline..I do not lose hope despite everything..I hope Bitcoin will be $ 20,000 at the end of the year.

I think bitcoin has achieved that goal. But bitcoin is still a lot to watch for in order to remain stable. I hope the bitcoin in the future will increase and gain prestigious awards.
