Not on me personally, but I believe it VERY important that every casino take their responsibility to inform their players how to gamble responsible and provide all necessary links where players can seek help if they need.

Of course, and if I'm not mistaken, they are mandated by law to ensure that their players know what responsible gambling is. To the casinos that I go, they have this sign in front and even have leaflets that you can get to learn about it.

That's why for us gamblers, we really need to control our gambling habit because we all know at the end, it's not going to be good for us. So we should have prioritize things and just enjoy our gambling and have some fun when we go to land base casinos. We have seen and read the devastating effects of being a gambling addict and we don't want to be another statistics to the growing numbers.

This is not a case of being addicted to gambling. There are people who are actually in control of their gambling habits or addiction. For instance, they do not gamble beyond their budget; they commit an hour or two to gambling per week or twice per week and strictly adhere to it, among all other things. We have heard and read stories here and out there about how gambling ruins lives, careers, relationships, throws people into debt and more. But my question is, could this be happening to everybody? Has your responsible gambling habit had any positive effects on your relationships with your spouse, kids, parents, and others? Has it improved your finances and helped you stay out of debt? Has it improved your mental health and well being in anyway? Has it been able to help you meet an urgent need? Let's discuss.

Of course not. Only about 5% of gamblers(it's 2% to 8%, depending on the area) are problem gamblers. Most people just gamble like you said, an hour or two per week, and some of them just buying lotteries once per month and that's their gambling.

Positive effects you ask? Lots of them. I wouldn't say I'm in big profit from my gambling for 10 years almost, but that's money-wise. I had dozens of hours of good time, that's for sure. If I lose $30 in a week, but then another week I win $30 with betting just 10 cents, I feel good, right? No money won, but I feel good.
I like how simple you think and that's actually true. Whenever we won something against the house it's almost like an achievement because not too many gamblers will experience the same.
For me, I have already withdrawn money out of a gambling site for like 5 times at $20 to $50 but it took me so long before I could make that. I dont bet much, I just like the fun of the game and I think thats where I feel really blessed when I saw my balance increasing slowly until I reach a good amount that is able to be withdrawn.
I think what I have learned the most is being patient about it. I dont trt to double my bet even if I feel a losing streak is happening. I dont try to be greedy and change my plan midway just to chase the losses. I stay with one amount and try to wait for another lucky roll.

Has your responsible gambling habit had any positive effects on your relationships with your spouse, kids, parents, and others?
I don't think there is a positive impact, quite the opposite, but personally my habit of gambling is unknown to my family and I am responsible for what I do, For me, the people you mentioned above don't need to know, we still do it professionally, whether at home or when gambling.

Quote
Has it improved your finances and helped you stay out of debt?
No, the purpose of gambling is not to cover debts, the money wagered is only side money, even if you win the money is used for other things, such as: going to tourist attractions, the money is spent for fun.

Quote
Has it improved your mental health and well being in anyway?
We gamble has rules, health has no influence, health and well-being are not from gambling, there are other factors besides gambling.

Quote
Has it been able to help you meet an urgent need?
As I said in the second point, there is something else to cover all that.

What I said above, that's just for me personally, I don't know other people's ways, they have their own principles.

I believe that gambling should primarily bring pleasure to the gambler. Of course, the financial component is not the least important, but since gambling is a high-risk entertainment, you should always be prepared to lose your money. At least over time, the gambler begins to get used to the fact that losing is as natural as winning, but at first it has a very strong impact on the psyche. So yes, gambling affects the mental state of a person, especially if he has a heightened emotionality.
Yes, it should, but that's not what every gambler thinks about it. Most gamblers take gambling as a way to get money and that is what they want from it. They don't care about pleasure, they don't get any pleasure in gambling because all they want is they keep winning which is technically not possible in gambling because it's a game of luck and one cannot always be lucky. Even if someone keeps winning for a few days, they will eventually have to lose to the house.

And, those who manage to win something good initially in gambling, tend to have the mindset that they can win at least something on top of their bankroll every time, and sometimes people do win something every time but what makes them deprived of those winnings is their greed which makes them gamble more and then lose what they've won.

Poor people gamble with the hope that they might get a life-changing amount from their gambling activities since that will change their lives forever. That is the reason why they usually gamble despite not having a lot of money because that hope never dies, especially if you know that it is the only thing that gives you some hope for a change in your life and there is no other way for you to get a lot of money and get a better life for yourself and your family.
I don’t have any issues with poor people gambling, that’s what gives some people joy. Some people are always happy when gambling, so even the poor deserve to be happy. The only time I blame poor people who gamble is whenever they are addicted to gambling and they spend the money that they are supposed to use for other necessary things on gambling. Most addicted gamblers spend everything they have hoping they are going to win big one day, which might not even come. If you are poor, it’s better you stay away from gambling addiction, or the money that is supposed to be invested in other things just to build your future will be wasted on gambling.

However, I don't recommend anyone this thing because gambling is not something that provides riches to almost everyone. So if there are a million poor people gambling, only a few out of them might manage to get something significant from it and others will simply be wasting their money.
If you are gambling, I don’t expect anyone to have the mindset of making money from gambling or expecting to hit a big win from gambling. Gambling should be done freely, and whenever you win, you can make use of the money won to do the necessary things that you have to do at that moment, but you shouldn’t have the mindset of winning big when gambling because you might never win.

Underestimate- nothing
Maybe problems will occur in our family environment if we get into the habit of gambling because it could cause friction between family members. Hence, this is something vulnerable that could happen to our family.
It not only causes disputes among family members but also within society. Many local people don't like gambling because it will have a bad impact and what people are afraid of is that it will affect the surrounding environment by gambling. Indeed, gambling is only done for fun, but as long as you can manage your finances and control yourself, it will not cause disputes. But usually people who have been affected will find it difficult to control their finances, especially when hanging out with friends who are also gambling addicts. So, be wise in managing your finances so that you don't lose too much because of gambling.

People love money and are interested in anything that will make them money, therefore I'm sure certain families will always be against anyone who gambles. They believe that gambling may ruin lives, especially when a person is hooked, but the question is, if a gambler wins big, would they think the worst of him and encourage him to keep playing, or will they demand the money back? I doubt it. and the local people gamble because they see it as empowerment to make money even if they are not winning, They just have a fixed mentality about the whole thing, whatever anyone is doing should have measures, especially in finance, having friends that are gambling addicts should be avoided. for proper measures.

I will agree with you that it is the poor gamblers that are seen as irresponsible gamblers because they dont have any funds to fall back at when they run at big loss. You will see them looking for someone to fet a loan from to satisfy their gambling urge and to also chase their losses. When it comes to addiction and self-discipline these applies to both a poor and a rich gambler because if you are an addicted gambler, you will end up in excessive loss that will affect your financial bouyance. Set a time limit for your gambling activities and stop when it is time to stop, and only game with funds that you cam afford to lose,so that you don't start chasing your losses.

Your statement that poor gamblers are seen as irresponsible gamblers is not entirely true. By the way, what is your definition of a poor gambler?
Those who gamble irresponsibly are from all walks of life and are in all strata of the economic ladder.

A typical example of an irresponsible gambler is Drake. He's rich, a successful musical artist but we can all agree that he gambles irresponsibly. Never have we heard that he loaned money to satisfy his gambling urge but we have seen go on a betting spree despite losing a lot of money. I consider it irresponsible gambling.

That kind of people should stop and avoid gambling. If they have found a job and continue to gamble, this will only make them addicted to gambling even deeper. And if ever they make money in gambling, the ending will always be the same and those winning will surely lose in gambling. Most of the time, gamblers without any other source of income do not have any other idea where to get money once they experience winning.
That means whether they get a job or not get a job, they must be able to stop gambling because they will still return to gambling. They will just get addicted to gambling and it will get worse. If they can make money from gambling, that money will be used to double their profits but it will not be easy because once they win, they will find it difficult to win again. They should know that making money from gambling is not easy and if they gamble too often, they can develop a gambling addiction and that will affect their family. Maybe later, his family's finances will be disrupted and this will cause problems.

I agree, that instead of having a better life, they only give problems to themselves. Financially stress can become the reason for the breakdown of a person. People who experience that think differently and it makes their family worried. If they don't have the capability to provide for their gambling habit, better to stop and find a job.
They are just experiencing loss when gambling can cause stress, especially when they don't have the money to meet their needs. It will be even more difficult and for this reason, people still thinking about making money from gambling should be able to divert their minds to looking for work and stop gambling. Gambling will not give them money, instead, it will give them a lot of losses. So they should be aware and stop gambling.

It may be necessary to provide people with an understanding of the long-term impacts of gambling so that they can slowly leave gambling and look for other sources of income. They put their families at risk when they cannot earn money from gambling.

Everyone who enters gambling or a casino can become an addict in the future. Now, it depends on each individual gambler whether we choose to become addicts. Of course, most of us don't want that to happen to us. We just want to gamble for fun; if we want to win, I think that's normal for a gambler like me, but of course, when our gambling runs out, that's the time to stop and go back to the day that we had gambling again. Aside from your other question, in terms of finances, does gambling help? Maybe when I win, it helps me, but it rarely happens. Most of the time, gambling does not help me financially. It's also not valid as a source of income for me, so I can't say it's my habit. Because I gambled only once or twice a month.

They must truly realize what they are doing is wrong and start learning to cure their addiction. Those who have not experienced a gambling addiction must learn to be responsible gamblers so that it does not affect their finances. It would be better if they could just leave gambling instead of having to use their money to gamble. If they have experienced a big loss from gambling, they should rest first and not gamble for a while to calm their minds after experiencing that big loss. Maybe problems will occur in our family environment if we get into the habit of gambling because it could cause friction between family members. The bad impact of gambling can be everywhere and not just on our families, especially in our environment. Many people gamble so the impact will be even more widespread. And even if someone can manage their finances and control themselves well and only use gambling for fun, there will be people who don't like it and that will cause friction between them. Maybe the impact won't be too pronounced in the short term, but we know that a person will have ups and downs, which can trigger him to do something unusual. It can also have a negative impact on his family as the people who are close and live with him then spread to the people who live in his environment.

~snip~ If really he has been gambling irresponsibly, there is going to be a time that the money he is using to cover up well be long gone and will be broke in the future.

I firmly believe that people who are addicted to gambling will eventually stop, because they will most likely go bankrupt one day when their debts get bigger and they can't pay the money back. Another impact of gambling irresponsibly is the destruction of family relationships, friendships and other relationships because usually people who are addicted to gambling will be in debt to anyone they know and most likely will not be able to pay it back, so in the end they will be shunned by them.

In many cases, gambling addicts end their lives because they are unable to face the mounting debts. I don't want it to end like this, so as long as we can control playing patterns and manage finances, do it. It's better to prevent becoming a gambling addict before it ends badly.

when we talk about responsible gamblers, we will find a gambler who has no problems at all in their real life because they are able to manage the gambling activities they have been doing so far, I really feel good benefits from the ability to manage emotions in gambling, I don't I will never gamble again until my capital runs out, I have avoided debt with all my might and I always set limits that I have to spend every day when gambling.

Responsible gambling is really over rated if you ask me because to be honest almost every one who doesn't have the available funds to gamble is an irresponsible gambler because and if you have the ratio of people who gamble responsibly to the one who do the opposite we can deduce that the latter is always the higher so I feel to the a responsible gamble is typical base on the availability of funds because people like drake the musician who gamble irresponsible but because the funds is there it's covers and portray him as a responsible gambler.

Responsible gambling is not overrated, it's a measure that every gambler must learn to use but many turn a blind eye due to emotions and the money involved. In an ideal state, if every gambler should gamble responsibly, the casino and sportsbooks would make less and it's possible that we are going to have more numbers of people that will win bets every week than people that lose but the money inside it wouldn't let people gamble responsibly, they just want to win all the time.

Everyone has the money they can afford to lose, you don't know what drake earns per day. Let's forget about the media's worth, and you don't know how much he is worth, so saying he gambled irresponsibly is not proper. If really he has been gambling irresponsibly, there is going to be a time that the money he is using to cover up well be long gone and will be broke in the future.

You are not talking about addicted gamblers here but the incidents you mentioned are more likely to happen to an addicted gambler. But naturally, if I discuss the effects of gambling, then of course there can be many reasons for gambling losses. Because a gambler must take a risk while betting in gambling platform, some may behave temporarily abnormally after taking the risk.

Sometimes due to excessive gambling we often face various problems such as financial problems, health problem and due to excessive gambling, family relations can also deteriorate. Every gambler runs into one kind of problem. I myself felt a bit disgruntled there after a long day of gambling but that was my own fault.

But it should be remembered that no one is forced to gamble. Gambling should be done with the money as much as you afford to loss. It should not be considered a source of income. When a gambler gets too greedy, he is exposed to a number of negative situations.
