I will agree with you that it is the poor gamblers that are seen as irresponsible gamblers because they dont have any funds to fall back at when they run at big loss. You will see them looking for someone to fet a loan from to satisfy their gambling urge and to also chase their losses. When it comes to addiction and self discipline these applies to both a poor and a rich gambler because if you are an addicted gambler, you will end up in excessive loss that will affect your financial bouyance. Set a time limit for your gambling activities and stop when it is time to stop, and only game with funds that you cam afford to lose,so that you don't start chasing your losses.
They must truly realize what they are doing is wrong and start learning to cure their addiction. Those who have not experienced a gambling addiction must learn to be responsible gamblers so that it does not affect their finances. It would be better if they could just leave gambling instead of having to use their money to gamble. If they have experienced a big loss from gambling, they should rest first and not gamble for a while to calm their minds after experiencing that big loss. Maybe problems will occur in our family environment if we get into the habit of gambling because it could cause friction between family members. Hence, this is something vulnerable that could happen to our family.

Being a responsible gambler means you are disciplined. You can control your emotions, you can pause your greed, you can live with losses and still sleep well at night. So yes, it has a lot of effects.

It's not easy at first because there will always be that demon that tells you to gamble more and increase the profits even though you already doubled or tripled your balance. But if someone could stop at some point and withdraw it then that means he can control himself from greed and I think that's healthy for his own lifestyle as a parent or an individual.
I don't actually just play for 2 to 3 hours, I let the autobet run but I don't watch it the whole day. Just let it do the wager and wish it could get lucky at some point. Watching it will just add some stress. Just take the wagering bonus, rakeback, and others because it's really difficult to win against the house. Do something instead while letting it run by itself.
The key to being a responsible gambler is having discipline in all gambling activities that you do. As long as you stick to your limits and set boundaries, the more you become a responsible gambler.

Personally, being a responsible gambler has made my life more balanced and more open to gambling opportunities and profits. That is because I never gamble with so much greed but I always make sure that every time I gamble, I have my certain budget and once it's lose, then better luck next time. I never see gambling as a main source of living, probably the reason why I can easily stop myself any time if I don't have good motivation to gamble.

This is not a case of being addicted to gambling. There are people who are actually in control of their gambling habits or addiction. For instance, they do not gamble beyond their budget; they commit an hour or two to gambling per week or twice per week and strictly adhere to it, among all other things. We have heard and read stories here and out there about how gambling ruins lives, careers, relationships, throws people into debt and more. But my question is, could this be happening to everybody? Has your responsible gambling habit had any positive effects on your relationships with your spouse, kids, parents, and others? Has it improved your finances and helped you stay out of debt? Has it improved your mental health and well being in anyway? Has it been able to help you meet an urgent need? Let's discuss.

when we talk about responsible gamblers, we will find a gambler who has no problems at all in their real life because they are able to manage the gambling activities they have been doing so far, I really feel good benefits from the ability to manage emotions in gambling, I don't I will never gamble again until my capital runs out, I have avoided debt with all my might and I always set limits that I have to spend every day when gambling.

Responsible gambling is really over rated if you ask me because to be honest almost every one who doesn't have the available funds to gamble is an irresponsible gambler because and if you have the ratio of people who gamble responsibly to the one who do the opposite we can deduce that the latter is always the higher so I feel to the a responsible gamble is typical base on the availability of funds because people like drake the musician who gamble irresponsible but because the funds is there it's covers and portray him as a responsible gambler.

Each person might be having that the same impression on what gambling is but we know that each one of us would really be different on how we would really be treating it on which some say that it is really just that something for fun which its true or something that recommended but there would be those people who would be saying that or having that kind of treatment that it is really that something that talks about money making and this is where things turns out to be messy once you do have that kind of mindset on which this one would really be pushing you to be that desperate knowing that gambling is really that risky or something that
would really be at your great disadvantage knowing that house do always win at the end. This is why it would really be just that a normal approach or something that do talks about realistic dealing up with gambling
then it should really be for fun and entertainment on which it is really that recommended on doing so. Being responsible and being mindful on how things should really be that to deal with
is something that a good thing to be done. If you dont like on suffering afteraffects because of impulsive gambling then you should really be that responsible in the first place.
Those who consider gambling a source of income or a way to make money will suffer at the end because these are the people who can't have any control over themselves once they get into gambling and start getting addicted. That's when they start impulsive gambling and spending money on it recklessly without even thinking that the money they are going to gamble with is actually to be used for something else which is way more important than this.

And what's worst about this is that they don't suffer alone for doing this, if they have a family that they need to take care of, they make their families suffer as well because they gamble everything away, don't earn any money since they don't work or find a job for themselves, and their families are deprived from basic necessities of life.

My responsible gambling have good effects on me, and that's because I don't use money that I was not supposed to use for other things to gamble, there is no better effect than this, I am able to control my gambling desire because I understand gambling.

In gambling, every day is for losses and limited day for winning, If things are generally like this with gambling, you don't need to be told to be a responsible gambler, or else you will be throwing money away and you may end up with debts and sooner you will be irresponsible in every way.

Gambling is created to take from people who hope for a better life, It's possible that gambling can bring you what you desire but the chances are very slim.

Experience, and you can gain that if you have been in gambling for many years and then you are losing big money already. I remember I meant someone, who says that he has been in gambling in the mid 90's. But still he hasn't learn his lessons though. However, the good thing is that he hit that grand price and so it's big money, but if you compute everything that he has lose since the beginning of his career. This is just recent though, so let's see if he learns his lesson and stop gambling or just lose it back in the next couple fo months.
someone who has been around gambling for a long time will definitely be a very experienced gambler unless he is a compulsive gambler. what I know about gamblers who have been in gambling for a long time usually they understand better how gambling works and all the bad things they have experienced so that they build themselves up to gamble responsibly and to quit gambling Im sure it will be very difficult its just that he is a gambler experienced person has a big responsibility to control himself not to spend too much money chasing wins or chasing losses and he considers this gambling to be just like trying his luck.

Being responsible in gambling is really tough. The best thing if we hadn't lost out of gambling we could've had good sum of money and there is no need of expecting big win from gambling. My gambling activities have got positive effects on my finance and I clearly remember few incidents. One of which is a win that happened when I was in hard need of money. I didn't meant to gamble, but whatever the roll, it was a win. I continued and the winning continued. At some point my requirement is met, and further I gambled and won. Now fear accomplished and I ended the session, maybe if I had continued I could've lost everything.
Responsible gambling doesn't come free, it comes with alot of sacrifice to makes inother reap gigantic in accordance with disciplinary measures employed. Responsible gambling can be carried out in just a day, it requires enough time to adapt and learn basically everything valuable you ought to learn. Gambling responsibly have aided me financially and given me more breakthrough in essential paths. Only few people that I know are responsible, the rest are all about the money without calming down and wagering on good games and accumulating basic knowledge of how the entire gambling system operates. I will be able to explain gambling having positive effects on them.

I like your attitude, gambling is something that cannot be predicted, and if you win it's just luck, I myself have also experienced a time where I really needed money and I was just playing gambling for fun so I got a win and I was very happy, but after When I got the win, I became greedy instead of stopping playing and taking the money, but instead I continued playing because I wanted to double the money, but instead of increasing, I lost the money that should have been my luck  Cry Cry

This is not a case of being addicted to gambling. There are people who are actually in control of their gambling habits or addiction.

I would like to think of myself as one such person, but the awful truth of me is that I do sometimes give in to temptations and I can forgive myself for those sudden bursts of emotion and error. I am only human, after all. And once you realize that you are only human, you forgive yourself for small mistakes.

However in order to avoid the big mistakes, one needs to learn discipline and a strict rule regiment. The most simple one is that you restrict your gambling by creating a capped daily gambling fund and stick to that limit. You therefore minimize your losses and do not go in any unnecessary risks, no matter how tempting they may be, in your eyes.
You are not alone on that problem, I bet many of us who answered here in the thread who are also not gambling addicts experienced that kind of moment. Giving in to their temptation. It's not easy to control it especially when you are in the chase of the losses that happened. Just recently, I had that kind of experience but thankfully, I stopped before I lost all my balance. Trying to get the rest for now and maybe changing the seed for a fresh start.

A plan must be set if we want to stay disciplined. Losses will always happen so it will depend on how strong our will is. Also, the time on where we should stop should be set. No more "this will be the last one" or "I will just try to get back half of what I lost" because that is where we will lose more. Pauses are important, take a rest too, and think of a strategy or whatever superstitious beliefs, as long as we take that break.
I think one thing I also learned in gambling is being more patient.

I don't consider gambling as a source of income so whatever I spend on gambling is pure money that I don't use to make ends meet. This means it is a special expense for having fun regardless of whether I can win something or have to come back another period for the same purpose. Of course, this is a budget limit that I set, that is one of the things that I must do so that my desire to have fun gambling does not have a negative impact financially and in other undesirable ways.

Responsible gamblers are gamblers who do not gamble to make money, but they gamble for fun. This means winning and losing shouldn't matter, but it can be hard to maintain this mindset if you're already addicted.
Great if you can have a limited gambling budget and can make gambling as a means of entertainment rather than a place for a source of income.
But when you use money that is really pure not to meet your living needs or money that has been set aside for fun and in the last few gambling periods you have had a losing streak can it really stop and only come back again in the next period?
because many gamblers cannot control themselves when they experience consecutive losses even though they have limits or use money purely for fun.
Anyone will not be willing to just lose money and certainly have the desire to be able to continue the game until they have another win to recover their initial capital.
To be honest I'm a little skeptical of gamblers who say they can happily accept losses because they gamble for fun.

Well, in terms of fund management, as a responsible gambler, the person should know what they can spend that will not make their financial well run dry. In the example you gave about Drake, although I will see him as a responsible gambler, despite the money he lost, or should I say wast, on gambling, he doesn't blatantly go broke, and as he is, he knows his financial status; like, he knows how much he's got to his name, and there's no way he can take all his money and put it into gambling. That's the reason why I think he is a responsible gambler. There are some bad gamblers who don't mind spending all their money on gambling, then return home with an empty stomach and even sleep hungry till the next day (so irresponsible). They gamble and forget to make a budget for what they will eat.

Plus, he's affiliate with the gambling platforms that he play into, so he's not really losing that huge of an amount and is actually gaining more even if he loses on the bets he's making. As for the regular folks who are responsible in gambling and in their finances, I'm pretty sure they know their limits, and they know how much they can spend on something without ever having to worry about being broke. If that's not the case, then they are not financially responsible to begin with.

That's good for you because you can manage your emotions and money for gambling. But what about the people around you? Are they influenced by what you do in gambling? Or do you hide your gambling activities from them so they can't see it or be influenced by it so they end up gambling too? A responsible gambler can gamble well and will not exceed his limits lest he lose much money. Maybe it takes practice for the first time or at the beginning when he gambles, but it is worth doing to take good care of himself while he is gambling. The most important thing is that we are always aware of what we are doing while gambling and not following emotional ups and downs that can cause us to forget our original purpose of gambling.

Is there anyone who has no problems at all in their life? I think there is no human being in the world who is spared from the existing problems of life.

Life will never be free from problems. However, this depends on each individual in responding to existing problems. If you are a loser then you will try to keep running away from every problem that comes. However, if you are someone who is responsible then you will continue to try to solve every problem that comes. Likewise with someone who plays gambling, if you are a responsible gambler then you will always consider the risks involved and always pay attention to the expenses made in gambling. Likewise, if you are unable to take responsibility for the gambling you do and what happens, you will continue to chase victory without looking at the risks and losses you experience.

That's why gambling is not for everyone, there is specific people who have unique characteristics and also traits that can help them to gamble in a better way. Those professional gamblers have a same trait which is temperance, which mean that they gambling in moderation and they have control on what they are doing. While those gamblers who are ruined their lives and careers doesn't have any temperance. For me temperance is something you should work for, it is not a gift wherein you can have it when you are born. You can have temperance by working on yourself everyday. Gambling is also about psychology, it is about controlling your emotions, thoughts, mindset and having enough discpline. Having luck and good strategy is not enough, you should understand that the way you think before, during and after gambling is what's matter.
