I should have read this earlier, but I'm new to this, didn't really know, now I do know (at least a little more). I ordered 3 Uranus and paid for them in August. Those guys promise and promise delivery, then they say that the boxes are shipped to their Datacenter(?) and when asked about the purpose of that dubious transaction, they state that they have no license to ship the hardware elsewhere. So they state the miners exist. They claim they are not allowed to give them away, nice scheme. Next thing they offer to change my purchase of the boxes into a cloudmining contract. We will see, what the next offer will bring.... There is still no evidence, that even a datacenter exist, not to speak of any miners.

So sad... Cry

Frank

In which state/country did you "buy" the miners? How did you pay (BTC, CREDIT CARD, wire, ...) Did you purchase them as a private person or as a company?
There are laws in the EU that give you the chance of getting your money back?

DO NOT accept it being converted into cloudmining.  This allows them to cut and run with money and they can let you seem to mine via online payments.   They should not trusted.

What method did you use to pay for the order?

Our company purchased 3 UranusMiner from HashCoin. We received the order confirmation and a regular invoice last July. The delivery was scheduled August/September. On the 15th of September they reported an issue regarding chip licenses without letting us know a specific delivery date. We have been waiting for two months now and it seems impossible to speak with someone in charge in the orders/shipping department. Anyone in the same situation? Is it possible to ask for a refund?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately yes -> check this out!
If you read from page 33 to here, they do not give any refund, they try to model your Uranus purchase into a cloudmining contract....

Thanks for the advice! I will read for more details.

Maybe you start from page 1 and check out the behaviour of hashcoins with its customers  Roll Eyes

What you will see is they really only shipped two miners.  One was a old sha miner that was nothing special.  Other a scrypt they slapped a sticker on but did not make it was a batch split between 3 companies.

Since Zeus they have not released a miner that they have shown pre-order.    There still has not been a single Zeus to ever be found.

Sorry to hear about your loss on money.  You might look into a lawyer as chances shipment are pretty much none.

Hy guys,
any news from the ESTONIAN leader of BTC  Roll Eyes
Code:
*Uranus is in the stage of licensing.

I wonder if they have given up.  The S7 I believe beat's the efficiency of the product that they never showed even working prototype on.  You can get 2 S7's for cheaper and get them next batch once they have more.

I keep thinking the company will give up after never releasing Zeus miner.   But maybe they just leave it up hoping for someone to buy one without reading anything.  Suppose one sale would keep the site up for years.

I have an account at http://cloud.hashcoins.com.
I have this message on my dashboard:
Code:
Dear Users!

Until recently, maintenance and electricity fees for some users have been less than stated or was absent entirely as according to the agreements.

In the nearest future, our specialists will enable the standard fees in the amount of 1.4 USD per 1 TH/s of SHA-256 per day and 0.01 USD per 1 MH/s of Scrypt per day, as stated on our website. Payouts will not be available during this time, since we also need to calculate the amounts of unpaid fees of some users. The unpaid fees will be deducted from the affected users' accounts and they will receive an email with the calculations.

We appreciate your understanding. No additional charges will be made, the equipment continues to mine.

Does anyone have this message? It passed a month and payouts still not working!

This company is likely not coming back in my opinion which i have shown before.  If they get some next gen chips from another manufacture and end up selling a new miner that is not just a rendering we might hear from them.

Ever since Zeus not shipping any it's been bad things for this company.  I feel sorry for those who lost money, I would avoid this company at all costs.

HashCoins is on cloud mining as HashFlare https://hashflare.io.
Can a customer of HashFlare post current earnings for SHA-256 in BTC ? (Maintenance fee, payout)
How often do you withdraw money from your account ? (eg. daily, weekly, monthly)

I tried on the 11.08. No sign of live until now. Last time i withdrawed was in July. I contact them something like every 3 weeks to get the money out of my account.

What do you think about Uranus
I think it doesn't exist, making any and all follow-up questions moot and potentially lending legitimacy where none should be given.

This is the truth.   Wonder why there is just a rendering? It most likely is since there has not even been a prototype produced.

Right now they ship a scrypt miner for 4x or more then other site with same miner just different sticker.  They most likely are waiting till someone else produces chips and chances are design then they might ship a Uranus.

Or they keep selling pre-order and give reasons on why it is not shipped. So either they wait till far down the road and ship making massive margins, or they wait and don't ship and go into the sunset.  No one really knows on Uranus.

just can say, that the company  is reliable.

however BS will follow here...
They reliably keep pushing back the date people who supposedly ordered hardware since late 2014 will supposedly get that hardware.  Which isn't BS - it's fact.. but you're more than welcome to try and debunk it - or, if you're absolutely so certain, indemnify frank0929 against loss Smiley

I was lucky.I live in Finland and markets for miners are small.I found that miner from a little local forum and emailed right away that I'll buy it.An old gentleman who sold it even offered to bring it to me (about 200 km).And he brought it to me next day. I asked him why to sell so cheap. He told me that he had tried to sell it for 1200€ for sometime but no-one ever asked for it.He said that he didn't want to pack it to send by mail.Well I was quite happy.I had already sold all my miners earlier but I had to buy that SP31 for that price.
