NO, I haven't but I will not be going to stop him, it's his money and he is the one who should decide if he wants to wager more or stopped, if he's been into gambling for some time, he knows all the outcome he knows the house edge and can lose everything he got, or get back his losses so it's up to him to decide.
Are you really a friend?because it seems that you don't even  care for your friend ?why not try to convinced them to stop for their own good because they might lose everything and may turn their life miserable.

I don't know what you have to do but if I'm on your position?i will do everything to stop them even if they get angry with me,because thats the true friend d.
It's not he doesn't care about his friend. Actually i'm on @aioc opinion, it's his money, let their friend use their money whatever they want. You never know might be after lose and deposited more, his friend would be win huge amount. Being a friend doesn't mean we always telling them to don't do anything, but it's more about how you support them

not really because i mostly played my own for privacy so there's a little chance that i will stop others from losing.and besides i respect everyones right since its their money that spending in gambling.
but maybe if i will be with a close friend and find him losing huge already?i thing i will do some move to prevent him from losing more.
but as what i've said will respect them if they resist and will let them continues playing until they lose everything

but at least give him advice so there will be a reminder for them because sometimes they only need some care to realize the losing and consider stopping

Hopefully, these guys will learn something more valuable, after experiencing more losses in gambling. Our advice cannot help them move us from their binds of bad habits, but the most important here was their motivations to terminate their actions quickly. Although it was hard to decide at first, and I know with consistent advice that's an effective way to handle it.

Perhaps it's still better if you'll remind him since he might can't control himself/herself when the momentum is there. If you really have a care to your friend, you won't hesitate to give a shot. However if he/she insist then we have nothing to do about it but to respect it.

I've been into gambling for a long, my major focus was on sports betting. From sports betting earned good, but I wasn't able to make the success continue. I lost out of greed, further my focus turned towards casinos where we get the instant results and doesn't want to wait as we wait on sports betting till a match gets over. By this time I was entirely new to it, and lost big. If someone have contacted me I could've stopped it for a while and lowered my loses.

Recently while playing dice, I saw a person who was wagering with large funds to recover the loss. By the time he has lost part of what I have lost. I texted him my experience, and suggested to stop it before things go out of his hands. He didn't responded, finally he lost everything. Have any of you got such experience.
I didn't lose in gambling that much. All of us have a percentage of being greedy and if we didn't know how to control that greed then we will surely gonna lose much. I've tried also one friend to stop gambling but didn't listen to me. She wants more after winning so she came back on a game even if how many time I told her not to go back and just content on what she has that time but she still continues and after that lose her winnings. She told me that she wishes she listen to me in the first place.

The best companion you could ever have is the person who has the same experience as you. As they have the same faith, and same emotion you experienced. Truly alike with a mentor and his apprentice. It is pretty hard to tell the person on what he have gonna do to a certain problem I myself never experienced. Though you could tell a bit but not totally with in depth explanations.

Honestly, I've also tried to stop gambling.
But the mind says it's different, gambling is like a person who is addicted to cigarettes or alcohol, can not stop perfectly, at most one week, let alone play ball sports, and dice.

When, seeing people win that's where greed rises again.

I experienced it, gambling money is a little hot, it can not make me calm, go ahead and bet that's what is on my mind.

I realized when I won and lost in gambling bets.
When I lose, I want to stop playing right away, and when I win, it's hard to stop, doubling up, that's gambling, emotions, ambition, greed, that's what it is.

its hard to stop quickly but you can do it step by step  . play less money , allocate less time for gambling and make your self busy outside on other things  . thats what i do and luckily it works great on me   . not checking others win can also help to keep you foccus on your small goals because if you keep on checking others win  , you will only feel motivated to do what they have already do but the question is do you have the same luck  ?  i dont stop others but i only stop myself win or loss  .

Only ourselves can stop us from playing gambling because the rest of other people who stop only temporarily. If we want to stop gambling then all of that must start from ourselves having that intention. I have been motivated several times to stop gambling, but nothing can really make an impact. or if not, you can go to a psychologist when it's in the severe category

Perhaps, in one day, you will have the motivation to stop so you can prevent more losses in gambling. Indeed, to stop gambling will need an effort from ourselves, and after we succeed in quitting, we can try to suggest other people stop playing gambling because we care about that person. We don't want to see him lose so much money, and that is why when it's happening to our friends, we will do the same. Perhaps, some gamblers are too shy to go to a psychologist because they don't want their problem to be known by more people and they think that they can solve their problem by themselves. But the fact, they cannot do that alone.

I have a cousin who has a friend where that friend is a fan of gambling. Slowly by slowly, he's becoming more interested into gambling that he started to become addicted to it. He started just to try it and have fun, but months after it, he won a big amount. He even treated my cousin and his friends. I think that's the reason why he become addicted because he experienced winning and he though he could win again just like that but it turns out to be the other way around. He continuously keep on losing and loses all his funds. Even his allowance from his parents, he used everything and left nothing. My cousin decided to talk to him about his addiction and help him to overcome it. They find another activity that they can do just for him not to be attracted by gambling again. And I think that works.

Maybe it would be hard for the gamblers to stop especially when the situation is going bad in which the gambler is already losing a big amount of stakes, you cannot stop those gamblers that are eager to take back the funds or stakes that they lose about and because of the greediness to take back the funds that he losses, he losses also all of his belongings. Being a gambler like me is very hard especially if you are experience on a huge loss and you need that money for some purposes, it would be hard to stop it until you take back the money that you've lost. But your effort to stop the gambler in the dice game was much appreciated.

This is one of the things I would never do directly while the person is playing as in this case the situation can escalate to the worse in a matter of seconds.I would talk to him after he has finished playing and has calmed himself down because in this time I have better chances to argument my opinions why such a person should stop gambling or at least start to add some discipline to it like managing bankroll etc.

I myself have been really addicted to dice before. I gained a good profit but out of greed, I expected that I would gain more until my partner advised me to stop. Then I realized that I'm already losing more than my capital. That's when I decided to stop. There's no guarantee that we'll always win in any crypto gambling so we should always know when to stop.
What can stop us from playing gambling is ourselves. I realized when I stopped gambling when everything was spent. and when we still put our hopes in gambling that's where we won't be able to stop playing gambling. because several times I experienced it like that. sensation of not wanting to stop playing gambling
That's agreeable nobody can really stop us but our  own-selves, if we are being influenced by anyone it still because the desire to stop is already
igniting inside our minds, if you able to control yourself and manage to quit it's better as gambling most of the time ends up with bringing lots of regrets and stress in life, it's also best to help someone who already too much engaged with gambling to move and think about other activities and
forget gambling for a while.

Although I never lose big money in gambling, I tried to stop my friend from not placing big bets. I remember that in the World Cup, he places his bets on the quarter-finals, and he follows my suggestion because I think he cannot win at that time. And yes, after the match is over, he thanks me for giving that suggestion because if not, he will lose a lot of money. Sometimes, a friend can accept a recommendation from the other friends, but sometimes, it is hard to tell other friends because he feels too confident with his choice. Nothing we can do if they don't want to accept our suggestion.

It's practically impossible to convince somebody to stop while they're mid-way through losing their entire stack.

You stand a much better chance telling somebody to quit while they're ahead, rather than stop before you get completely rekt.

Personally, I just let them get on with it. If they've got the money to lose, let them play.
I strongly agree with this comment. It's complicated (and risky) to stop them. I think the correct move is not to lend them any money if they ask.
If somewhat you can stop them in a losing streak, and they see that the next bet is a win, then you'll receive the blame.

It's similar to trading. It doesn't matter whether your advice is good or bad, if they win, you'll get nothing, but if they lose, you'll get all the blame.
