I've counted my losses, but the same doesn't helped in stopping me from gambling. Everytime I make a calculation on the amount lost my mind makes calculation how to recover back those losses. If we're good enough to cope with limitations then counting at specific time interval will help in limiting ourselves on gambling.
It only limits the numbers of games and the money that we will going to spent but it won't stop there as gamblers will keep trying to win and if possible
to get a huge amount of profits. Counting your money from those losing days won't help you but gives you ideas that you need to adjust and you need
to change something from your system.

I'd probably say I didn't estimate all my loss cause I didn't use a lot when we talked about gambling. A few months ago, I just earned a huge amount of money from gambling, I was doing sports betting thought, and then I quit and I was chilling with my money, I back lately to gambling because there's some good football games and I just start gambling but really, I'm just betting with only a few bucks and no more.

It's not impossible to estimate but I can't give a number how much lost I've made with my entire life. But if sometime wants to track how much he's winning and losing, you can always check how much you have deposited and analyze if you're losing that much and winning a little but this is mostly the case of every gambler. We win tiny but we are losing big amounts, the past is no longer an important record to me but the current ones is more important. I just want to get on track with the present activity I have.
I don't need to estimate how much loss I have, but there are interesting things where I'm not sorry at all, there is a comparison where profits and losses are always 1: 5 if calculated in mind, but often can also be 30: 1, so absolutely nothing can be calculated in detail, it is more important to always enjoy interesting things throughout the game.

Unfortunately, the nature of humanity does not work like this. Earnings always aim higher. So today $ 100 can be enough for you. But in a month, why don't I think it's $ 200? They always think like that. There was a video about it.

A person with a 2-seater car likes the hatchback vehicle passing by. The person with the hatchback car likes the one with the sedan. Sedan, Sports car ... Sports car, helicopter ...
I mean, everybody always wants more. Its human nature.

100-500$ a week is much money mate specially if you are consistently playing so that is at least 2k$ a month and that would be 24k$ a year?

anyway it is safer if that amount can be spent willingly and not for important matters..just stay on that way of gambling.

It depends, we all have different rate of profits we receive from our jobs and if he could afford to lose 100-500 dollars a week, then it is his decision because I am pretty sure with this market price, he is also earning allot when he gets so lucky playing. Meaning to say that the amount of money you could earn will still depend on how much money you could afford to risk.

If you will stay realistic, however, there are gamblers who are too ambitious, they aim high with only a small amount of capital at risk.

For example, there are people who want their 10 usd to turn into 1,000 usd in just a short period of time, and in order to achieve that amount of winning, they need to be extremely lucky,.. things are different from people who are serious because they are realistic and they understand they need to take it slowly and they need to start with a decent amount to earn a decent amount of money.

I'm no longer counting, I'm just setting my bankroll for the day I'm going to start tomorrow when it's gone.  We're not talking about a lot of money here, I'm just having fun so it's certainly not a lot of money. My range is from 100 to 500 usd a week, but losing 500 usd is already too much because I'm not hitting, and we're not just talking about losses here as sometimes when my luck hits I might win even more than 500 usd a week, so what I'm doing is just a juggling task.

If you lose $100 in a day, that will be too big money to spend on gambling. But if your money to be used in gambling is $100 for a week, then I think that is enough because at least, in a day, you spend something about $15, and if you play gambling every day, then $100 is enough. But I do not recommend to play gambling every day because that can attract you to become addicting to gambling in a long time. Maybe you can reduce the money for at least $50-$75, and don't gamble every day so you can prevent from the addicting.

There is no point in estimating your gambling losses. Most people are happy to see that even with a small amount they have been a success and can not offset all the losses. On my own, I never calculate because if I know how much my losses compared to my success, it will be regrettable to my side. One thing I've learned, it's priceless the pleasure I get in gambling and I guess that's enough for me.
The enjoyment if you are not addicted to this activities already enough not to count those losses as part of your savings. It can be treated as spare money where you use for your fun and leisure. The point of counting might be use to calculate if you are a heavy gamer who would like to change style or wanted to quit for good.

It looks like your not-a-lot-of-money amount is a whole lot of money already. 100 to 500 USD in a week is already a very significant amount to me. I think I cannot afford to spend such amount per week on gambling. I am not counting my losses also as I cannot count them anymore but it is definitely lower than 100 USD per week. You must be a big time bettor.

The same as what I do, I wont calculate how much I lost since the first time I started gamble as well as I wont calculate how much I've won. As long as I keep on limiting myself anytime I'm gambling then it will be enough for me. It will be hard as well if I have to calculate my overall statistic because I've played in many places since long time ago. The most important thing is that my gambling activity and statistic should not affect my daily life.

There is no point in estimating your gambling losses.
There is, especially if you are gambling for profit, and actually you don't do estimate but you should make an accurate record to know if you have the skills in gambling and to improve what's needed to be improve.

There's a difference between gambling for fun and gambling for profit as usually when we gamble for fun, we look at short term while those who gamble for profit, they look at the long term possibilities.

Some people are losing $100 daily or $200 a week or $500 a week how about you
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?

I have this habit of only thinking about my losses when I am broke and have shortage of money to continue gambling. If i remember my biggest loss, I guess I would have bought myself Iphone X with that amount and  also give some to my mother or bought her something.  I am really developing this habit of keeping track of my losses so that I can play safely and ristrict losses.

i think that is a great habit of you, your are going towards the positive side in your life, because everybody should think about his mistakes and try to improve that, even a little improvement makes a great difference for you in future, with this habit you will be able to avoid yourself from addition of gambling and in this way you will atleast divide your budget in a wise manner and control your emotions.

I think there is a good reason why more than 90% of the gamblers never count their losses. If they did so they would quit gambling and see that there is no real motivation to continue gambling. When they don’t count losses every time they win they think that I am becoming good at this and I will recover all lost money and win even more during time.

We should prevent that stress that can come in any situation even if we calculate our losses, we can think about how we can get the winning. At that time, if we can win the games, we can feel greedy, and we can remember the losses, so that will attract us to play more and more without thinking about how if we get another loss. If we are trying to recover the losses, we will feel difficult because gambling is not an easy way to win the games.
If one has proper plans about recovering losses through gambling and has good control over greed and stress, there are many ways through which he can regain whatever he has lost in gambling. He can change the type of gambling he was into. For instance can shift to paroli from martingale or can shift to sports betting from dice games etc because in latter ones, the chances of making money are greater. One shall use them in gambling for making money.
I don't think that he can recover his losses in gambling because I am sure that it will be too difficult to do. We know that if we want to win, we need to have luck, and if you're going to recover the losses, you also need luck too. Changing from paroli to martingale can be a good reason to check or try if we have luck or not, and if we still don't have luck, then maybe we need to stop for a while from playing gambling. But that will not guarantee you to win the games. I would suggest him to try gamble in sports betting because he can have a good chance to win if he can collect the right information.

If the person is not counting the losses and win. how the person know if are performing well or not? How the person know that should improve or not? To draw a strategy the person will need to have loss and win data. I particularly whenever I lose try to know where I went wrong and because of that I constantly follow all my losses

I don't know of a gambler that is meticulous as you, lol. All the gamblers that I know only brags when they win specially big so I doubt that they track their losses. Doesn't matter if it is a luck based or sports betting or strategy based game. Gamblers don't write everything, they are playing for the rush or winning.
Even if they only brag about their winnings, I am pretty sure they still remember their huge losses it is just they are not talking about them for maintaining their images. As a matter of fact, humans remember their losses and hardships better than happy moments so they do have tracks of their losses. Of course gamblers don’t like to mention about everything they do in gambling to keep having edge.
