@cryptx

I would really like to have some insight in stats on both hashrate and revenue.

any ETA on this?

Thanks
we get 1GH per IPO sold out

we are at 2GH right now, probably less then 50btc for the week minus hosting so ~22BTC/27000 shares
if the rest of the 3rd is sold then
~0.00073333333 for divs

After Economics: Learning is just the first step.
Let me give it a go.

Innosilicon A2 boxes run at 150MH/s consuming about/under 1kW.  SCRYPT-X1 miners run at 85MH/s, so should consume under 600W each.  2GH of these miners should consume about 14.1kWh.  Cryptx charges $0.25/kWh, so weekly overhead fees should total 168 hours * $0.25 * 14.1 =~ $600

We are currently mining DOGE since it is more profitable than LTC? Plugging these numbers into the Dogecoin mining calculator at http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/dogecoin-mining-calculator indicates that 44 BTC would remain after subtracting overheads.

Let's go with cryptx's 50% reinvestment rate as per prospectus forecast, so 22 BTC is left in dividends.  Divide by 30k shares for 0.0007333

I don't know why I ended up with lower figures despite the assertion than DOGE is more profitable.

This is why I am not taking a stab at this. Way too many variables that we can't have.
Plus, you have to factor the possible growth of ltc/btc. If/as ltc rises in value against btc then our dividends will go up.

no one is gonna chime in and destroy my div math
anyone?

No, because they are using ghashs multipool. The profits from coin to coin will be varied, I have seen doge at 150% vs ltc.
Its practically impossible to do the math as we don't and can't have all the variables.

For those just tuning in, a multipool switches the coin its mining based on the profitability of that coin vs ltc or btc.

thats pretty good, consider that the reinvestment is not lost, future dividends will show for it, so we can expect a good increases in dividends as time goes by.

it will be making slightly more per share then PETA when looking at yeild

Still under a year to ROI though ^^

If that is an indication of the dividends for the coming year that leaves breakeven at 41 weeks. Hmm, ok scratch that since 2GH/s is only a fifth of what we should have by mid-may.

Deployment target depends on the number of units sold during IPO (currently ~24,5k). 10GH/s would require 100k units which is difficult to imagine as of now. Notwithstanding economy of scale the deployment hash rate doesn't affect dividend per share.

Oh, maybe the first one Wink

Lets say with 2GH you can mine 300 ltc a day or 2100 a week or ~50btc, so if batch 3 sells out and at 55% divs would be 27.5 btc/30000 shares

am I seeing this wrong??

Would be fun if one of the PETA thread people could work their math magic on some predictions. Honestly I'm not sure how to predict Ltc mining efficiency or what the diff trends are.

No one is saying that people prefer to buy the more expensive IPO. My point was that some people are under the impression that the price is the higher price and they are still willing to buy even at the higher price. This demonstrates market support for the higher price (Compared to not buying at all, not compared to a lower price)...

You seem to be intentionally missing the point.  These finance enthusiasts, presented with the option of buying @ ฿0.0425 and ฿0.041, chose the more expensive option.  Even after Havelock added some helpful financial tips ...in gigantic red type:

It is safe to assume that those who chose to pay more did so due to error, a mental deficiency, as a prank, or as an affront to what us mundanes call "common sense."

Interpreting such as market's support of higher prices is ridiculous.

I am guessing these are the same people that buy high and sell low...

its probably someone's bot doing that mess. they're gonna be mad when they find out..

Nice proggress! glad to see things are moving quicker then expected. Which is a rare thing around here.

Have you guys considered dedicating certain % to instamining?

UPDATE 09/05/2014

We made a promise to our unitholders to start the deployment of the SCRYPT-X mine mid-May.

We are pleased to announce that, only 48 hours after the IPO, the SCRYPT-X mine is already hashing at 2 GH/s or 1% of the LTC network.

This means our unitholders can expect their first dividend to be paid as early as next Friday the 16th of May.
