Is it in that story that their wedding didn't really go through? Because, as a result of the story, it looks like the wedding really didn't go ahead because the money allocated for the wedding was gone. That's a bit sad and painful on the part of the woman because of the abandoned result because the guy thought it wouldn't happen.
From what I saw with the guy, it seemed like his only reason was that they might double their gambling fund , but the truth is that the man made it happen just to follow his passion for gambling and his greediness for gambling; he wouldn't have been able to do that if not for the addiction he has. It's really sad that there are situations like that that don't work out just because of vice.
I believe you meant to say, double their "wedding fund", anyways, like I've already said in my previous comment above, I do not think the man was a regular gambler, not to talk of being a gambling addict, what happened to them just happened, it is not as a result of any of them being a gambler, or being addicted to gambling.
And lets not always make this mistake of assuming that every gambling mistake or loss in gambling is from an addicted gambler, no no, even first time gamblers can make this same mistake the man made.
Anybody can think of how to double their money for some reason(s), and someone who have never even gambled before but have heard about gambling and how people can easily double their money through it, can decide to try to double his or her money too, and that might result to this type of misfortune as well.
