Woah. After 45 minutes, why is your average hashrate and U: so low? You should be upwards of U:12/m with 840MH/s.

Wow, this sounds terrific. Thanks for the update

The modminer is beautiful. I sit right next to it, no heat and almost no noise. Worked really easy on windows cause I am awesome at clicking exe

Compared to gpu's, lol. I might as well keep some water and a towel in the room with the gpus and take a steam

OK

Sorry I have not been around much last couple of days, I just dropped into the office real quick and wanted to check in

I hope you can all understand I am very busy - the last three days I have been moving furniture and setting all my equipment up over at the new office space - my wife and I and our oldest son have been working long days to get this place ready. In the morning I am flying out to the west coast for meetings - I will try to be available by phone when possible. I wont be doing much email customer service over the weekend.

but I will answer some of the questions I have seen posted

1) When I get back I will take some pics of the new office space with my wife's camera this place is huge compared to office I am moving out of ! and my iphone camera would not do it justice
2) Where are we at with everything is what people want to know and I don't blame you..

ASICS have been in fabrication for some weeks now,

The board design and PCB layout is currently taking place, I have two of the best engineering and layout firms in California working on this , and it will be spectacular

These companies do serious manufacturing level stuff for the medical, telecommunications industry and the military

it will be top notch stuff but it takes some time -  we are getting close.

When the board design is completed it does not take long to fab the PCBs and get the boards assembled. The assembly house that I use - I have been working with since May - they have assembled hundreds of boards for me and they are one of the best out there. I can have all 1000 boards assembled in 5 days. (technically I could have them assembled in 24-48 hours but the costs would be astronomical, I typically use their 5 day service)

I hope this gives you something to chew on

I believe I have answered all current emails. If someone really needs me right now - give me a call - youve got about a 1 hour window to catch me before I'm done taking calls for the night.

Take care and I will try to be around as much as I can over the weekend but truth be told I wont be working regular hours again until monday.

p.s. glad you contest winners love your Modminers.

PEACE! Tongue

Tom

There is no winner in the ASIC war. The only move is not to play.
... or ... the only move is to realise it's not a war and go order some for when difficulty rises if you wish to keep mining profitably Smiley

Tom,

Could you please list us what kind of milestones you think to achieve in the next month, since that we should be around 1 month prior to the supposed shipping date?

Eg: when do you except the ASIC fab to deliver, when you except a prototype, when you except a power estimation, when you will publish your almost final power figures, when you will post your initial chip performances, when you will start the assembly, etc, etc...?

Thank you.

+1 ....some info PLEASE
