I'm for this.  All the bitcoins belong to US.  We need to prop up the dollar.

But then you'll just f-up bitcoin as well.

ahem.

the people of the US did not mess up the dollar.

the government and the banks did, led by the federal reserve.

and I assure you, if any government gets control of bitcoin, kiss it bye bye.

Didn't the people borrow more than they could afford accepting no responsibility and blaming the banks for enticing them?
I know this is a small part of it Smiley.

Pretty much, borrow to you hit your limit & file bankruptcy & blame everyone else for your stupidity..................

Along with wallstreet/banks going for the big GREED too.......................

Why is it so damn hot in here?
Well, as a matter of fact, if anyone wants to send me their old GPUs, I will gladly take them.

No objects from me but - we can't all live in North America, can we? I did live in Canada for a while years ago but they too impose a strict visa system for all but the group the Occupy protesters like to call the "one percent", so I couldn't settle there (legally).

"Display unit" - "For Educational Use"

I would call it a "Application-specific integrated circuit SHA CRACKING MACHINE, WAREZ".

But on my box just say "Computer parts" please Cheesy
What, not "Supercomputer-class Cryptographic Hardware"? A little checkmark in the ITAR box to go along with it would go a long way to keeping down difficulty for the rest of the year.

Thanks for the update Cool

Hey Tom, how do you usually describe the contents of the package when you ship FPGAs overseas? Computer hardware? Will you use the same description for ASIC devices?

Thanks.

For the ModMiner i always listed it as "Merchandise"

Description:

FPGA Mini Computer

for the bASIC I will probably do something similar

"ASIC Mini Computer"

or something of that nature

---

Please note if anyone wants to pre-order for second batch and your running into problems dont worry - we are working on polishing up the new site (Bitcoinasic.com)
hopefully we will have all the bugs worked out by tonight - although ordering is working - its kind of quirky

To access your account check status etc please use BTCFPGA.com

today:
Im working on getting the new shop ready and moving the whole operation down there, we finally got electricity and internet / phone services installed
so things are moving forward - Ive got 1000 square foot set aside just for processing of bASIC's

If you are waiting on email from me it will probably go unanswered until i get back tonight

I'm taking phone calls today if you call me and I dont answer its probably because I can't get to the phone or im on the line with someone else, please just keep trying to call back
its the best way to get me.

thanks
Tom
