In topics like this, one the best advise I can give and u will always give is that never sell at loss, hold for bull run, as in until you make good profit before you sell.
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
Hold hold and hold! We are about to start moving upwards, it's just a matter of time. Last few days has been great in crypto world but let's still be cautious, I think we are about to find some new lows, but soon we will start raising to new highs definitely! So just be patient a little more, bull run is about to start

The best strategy for working in the crypto market right now is to keep buying and hodl good coins. Over time, the situation on the crypto market will definitely improve, we will notice a gradual increase in prices. If you follow my advice, you may hold your holdings at least by the end of the year, 2019. As the year, 2018 is or was considered to be the year of regulations, thus affecting less or more the market. The year of 2019 is projected to be a good year for cryptocurrency. You have held your coins thus far. Wait for some more longer if it gives you some more profit.
I think we should sell them when prices drop by 7-10%. We will buy it back at a lower price to increase the number of coin holders. But pumps often happen suddenly so there is no sure advice
It looks like the coin that you hold is having a problem, I usually if it's already <40% of the price that the coin goes down then I sell it and try other coins, but after that I have to try to find the best coin to cover my losses 
I think you can hold it for a while wait for a good price. If your token has enough price it's your decision to sell it but if not how hold it.

It's better to hold it first and wait for bitcoin increase because of this month bitcoin bit increase and we expect it to increase next year so hold first and wait for the cryptocurrency market pump again.

Well, you are trying to time the market and it is a very hard thing to do. You sell and they increase, you buy and they decrease. You either need to learn a chart, get some experience and then trade, or let the bots do the day trading for you.
there are time to hold fiat, some other times to hold bitcoin and sometime for altcoin, experience and learning could only teach this, at January when the thread started and altcoin were falling, it was still a good time to sell. At a time ICO and altcoin flipping will be the order, It is meant to accumulate more bitcoin for the bull run. Nobody will teach you if dont learn it and the bull run is to move to fiat and stable coin. Open your eyes.
I think it would be better to sell it when the price starts to go down and buy it back when the price is at the bottom. hold is not a good choice for now because many people who prefer to sell their tokens are compared to hold.

If you didn't sell few months ago, there is no meaning in selling now because all market is in lowest price of 2018, every project has dropped minimum %85-90 so keep your portfolio now.
