Take a look at the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Waves, and many more a year ago and you will realize how hodling is very profitable in the end. Perhaps you need to shift to some other more trusted coins with a more working projects. At the end of the day, we will profit not with the strategy we choose but with the coins we invested in.

I agree with you at some point, it is really hard to predict which cryptocurrency will have a good future or which will fall or just stand still like those you're holding.
Nowadays where there are so many new altcoin its even harder to see which coin is potential to have a good price in the future.
Me myself prefer to hold any altcoin which are cheap enough for a long term investment, so even if the worst scenario happen i won't feel a huge loss.

no need to say that holding is bullshit, although sometimes not as expected. however I think it's just a risk and indeed should be able to accept it, because anyhow succes in holding depends on the coins that we picks. The less promising.. of course it will lead to a loss, it's not wrong with holding.. but the wrong is coins which's already picked.

You think that holding coins is a shit but the truth is just because you made a wrong deciaion holding a coins which don't have any potential. In order to gain you must read whitepaper first before getting and holding a coins and not just holding because it is the trend today. Make sure that the coins you will hold for many years will have the tendency to make a big profit later on.

Holding is better option than sell for a loss. Hodling best coins is good choice rather. I think you have been hodling comparatively not good coins. So choose a better project, hodl and sell at higher price. One formula is that buy good coin at low, hodl and sell at higher price. Good luck.
