Risk is always found any kind of business not only BTC but also other business. Every thing has a good or bed site. So, any kind of business also have a bad or good side. Without risk anyone cannot achieve their goal. Holding BTC will have risk but holding is the best way to earn money.
It depends if that is the only btc you have. I advise to invest the half in any other coins and hold the half. Don't let your money sleep, if you have plenty of extra time to do trading, you can do that. Don't just wait for btc value to rise, you will never tomorrow the price go down. But at the end of the day, it is still your choice, I am just suggesting what I am doing right now, not sure what will be the outcome but so far so good. I have losses too but what I gained is worth.
We all know that holding or investing is a risk but if we patiently wait for the perfect timing bigger profit awaits us. Its just like short term investment, its more risky than long term investment because we know that in the long run bitcoin price will keep on increasing.
