Try to calm down by counting 1-10 or sometimes play games with friends.

I also have such problems, but I try to relax and count to 10 so as not to do anything stupid. In general, they say that you need to play sports, because it will make a person more balanced.

Hi! I am a newbie here. I quite struggle about holding my temper and i easily flare up whenever i lost my temper on someone or a certain situation. How do you guys manage yours and stay normal in the midst of pressure? I know it is not ok to just be carried away by our emotions easily specially when the result could be disastrous but what to do?

Try going to anger management, it will help you. But if i am to advise you something, just always think that whenever you get angry at something, just listen to classic music or a RNB, jazz and other music with upbeat, very musical and not that loud. Don't  be too noisy too, if you get angry just shut up and be try to control yourself. Try to distract yourself too, and once stable and calm, go talk to your enemy and try to discuss the matter at not so tense way. Bending your anger towards food is also a good way to ease stress, pressure and anger....

I have learned through time, what works best for me.

What works best for me is letting out the frustration in a constructive way.

I usually try and exert physical energy by exercising. Once I have used all my energy and I am physically spent, I can then look at the situation more rationally and try to put myself in the other person's shoes.

In most every situation, letting your anger get the best of you is never going to make things better. It almost ALWAYS makes things worse, usually much more so.

On the rare occasion that something angers me (true anger, not just yelling at the idiots on the road) I walk away from the situation and try to think of other things that won't fuel the anger more. Or, I drive around. Driving relaxes me. Even when the road is filled with mouth-breathing imbeciles.

I used to have the same temper as you OP, what I did so it was lessen was I count 1-20 and concentrate on counting the numbers slowly and eventually it will subside. It works for me though or try watching the movie Anger Management and some of the tips on how to lessen your temper.

Coping in situations wherein one experiences hardship is very crucial to achieve. It entails physical, mental and emotional aspects to be able to work efficiently under pressure. It's really difficult to cope if you do not have focus on what you're doing. There should be synchronization with your body, mind and soul in order to think wisely and to take objectives one at a time. Succumbing to pressure will only result to more stress thus failing to meet the task being given.

You can just leave the scene and find solace by yourself in a quiet place instead of entertaining your emotions. We are human and it is normal for us to feel like that but how you respond to it is the time you will be responsible for whatever actions you take. Do not step down in the same level with the person who causes you to lose your temper.
