Try to do something that calms you down. God for a walk, a coffee, for me it helps!

Be assertive, not aggressive. one good way to keep your temper in check is to not get angry in the first place. if you feel angry over a disagreement with someone, the best way to express it is by sharing your feelings in a respectful way. Expressing anger in this way can be healthier than holding it in. those who hold back their feelings are more likely to develop passive-aggressive behavior and depression, as well as physical ailments like high blood pressure. When you assert your feelings, however, stay calm and refrain from behaviors such as yelling. it may feel good to "let it rip". But this behavior has been shown to increase anger, not relieve it. in short, don't be afraid to speak up, but be courteous at the same time.

Holding my temper is not an easy thing to deal with if you have no God in you. It is difficult to fight the works of the enemy if you don't have the weapons and medkit to survive and fight through it. I've experienced it that I backslided from God for a month and what happen is I lose myself, my temper which leads to unnecessary things that I have done and I have said that no longer will be re validated.

Hi! I am a newbie here. I quite struggle about holding my temper and i easily flare up whenever i lost my temper on someone or a certain situation. How do you guys manage yours and stay normal in the midst of pressure? I know it is not ok to just be carried away by our emotions easily specially when the result could be disastrous but what to do?

You can just leave the scene and find solace by yourself in a quiet place instead of entertaining your emotions. We are human and it is normal for us to feel like that but how you respond to it is the time you will be responsible for whatever actions you take. Do not step down in the same level with the person who causes you to lose your temper.

Guys read this! There's a lot to learn

Try to have a deep breathing for 2 mins and try to clear your mind to lessen the pressure of anger. You must have the principle of loving always the people around you.

You may care about what’s frustrating you, but you probably care about what you look like too. Especially if you happen to be in a professional environment. It may seem counter-intuitive to think about being angry, but it will make you feel a little foolish and stop you from doing something you’ll regret.

only people who believe in gods are able to control their anger, because they know that God does not like angry humans

In life, keeping calm is very important. We must keep calm in dealing with situations, keeping calm while communicating with others. Because when we lose our temper, we will not be wise to solve the problem in the best way.

I think depression many times manifests itself as anger. I have been depressed in the past and I would have a short-fuse and take things out on my loved ones. I didn’t mean to, I was just unhappy with life and it came out as anger. Some it comes out as sadness, some not eating, some overeating. some with silent withdrawal.

Why should you? It is said that the world will not be destroyed by evil, it will be by the good people who do nothing to save it. I don’t support rage or egotistical rants, but sometimes we need to speak up about injustice.
