But it helps us by giving money for our work or invest.We generally try to participate for improving our community. If merchants around our communities will start accepting payments in bitcoin and if transaction fees will ever be cheap again then i bet our lives as individuals in our respective communities will be improved and we needn't have to dwell so much on physical cash which has its own problems and we will have options as to how and where we expend our monies.
BTC makes transactions more efficient, particularly for larger figures and across borders, but other than that some people posting here seem to expect it to do what money does not.
