You need to constantly check the information and not be kept on the cover of a project or coin because basically those coins that seem to be excellent for investing do not really cost anything  Grin

Don't invest in any coin to protect yourself. When you need to buy any coin, you must know the knowledge of the coin. Otherwise, the loss is very common, and now it is a period of cryptocurrency, it is very dangerous to buy coins.

Who is able to protect, prevent, and save from deception is yourself. To be able to do that, the main thing that must be done is to expand knowledge, and increase experience in participating in crypto. That way, we will be able to distinguish which ICO is good and not, which ICO is feasible to follow and not, and which ICO is qualified and not. Even though all of that still does not guarantee to avoid scam, but at least we have sorted well among the many existing ICOs.

The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?
it is very difficult  put an end to scam. Now a cheater can wrap a project into a real project. All kinds of information are true. But you can't recognize it. For now, you need to evaluate and study a project yourself. Find the association from the specific details of the project. Then decide whether the project is true and reliable.

It is important that we'll have an enough knowledge and wisdom on how to get rid of fraud and scams. It is hard to get out of it but we could do something to get rid of it. We should be smart enough to identify and notice if we are getting into uncertain situation. Knowledge about crypto matters.

Fraud is indeed a very big problem for investors and bounty hunters. And to avoid fraud, we must be careful and must look at projects that have real products. You also have to check the team behind them. And you must ensure that this is a project that is worth following.

Well to avoid some scam, you need to be smart at all times. Do not start some investment if you clearly don't know about the project. Do some massive research first like reviewing the whitepaper of the ICO, checking their sites or any other information that'll satisfy you that the project is not a scam.

I think the task of protecting oneself from scams rest primarily on the individual and secondary on the community. First, avoid being greedy. Only invest your money on ICO projects with a verifiable team. a viable idea and possibly a working product. The crypto community will also contribute by working together to expose suspicious projects to protect investors.

we can not protect ourselves completely from scam, because we do not know which scam is. most importantly we have to be careful and not choose something if we are not sure. and also do not spend your money on one invetment.

The only way to protect investors from scam ICO'S is a government regulation this way we can prevent people to exit their so called project when they wanted. Also their is a more secure way of investing and one is a security token because those type of project are subject to federal laws that govern securities, failure to comply with these regulations could result in severe consequences including penalties and potential derailment of the development of a project.

usualyg peopel do not pay attention to some key factors ajd they miss slightly different prices or strange sites
it is very importamt to read whitepapers and many peopel just skip this step withput knowing taht it is so dangerous for their money
Reading and understanding road plans is very important in order to understand how things will work about this project, we need to take time investing to learned more before placing our hard earned money, skipping this process only place you in a risky position as you are just like taking a gambling not knowing what the project will bring you after.

To assess any ICO project, you need to focus on its components.
I will not describe everything in detail, but only point out what to pay attention to. Most likely you knew a lot of this...

Website

Badly made or template site. Most thieves are too lazy or stingy, so this is the first, on what they save

Fake information about team members

If you cannot find members of the ICO team on social networks, dont find confirmation that they really participated and so on, then most likely the project is scam

White Paper

The alarming signs are the presence of plagiarism and unrealistic promises, the absence of a detailed plan explaining exactly how this project will achieve the set tasks

Unclear goals

Each project has its own goals. And they must be realistic, concrete and achievable in the foreseeable future

Repository

If ICO claims to use open source code, then check the repository to store the code for this project. The code should be updated periodically.

Information about the legal entity

Behind every ICO is a real company. Almost every country has a public registry, in which you can make sure that the company is actually registered there.

Thank you for giving the detailed instructions, I think the present is more careful when joining the ICO. You should carefully select exchange to trade, as there are now too many exchanges that can have multiple exchange will be deleted at any time.
i thonk taht we will hever ever be able to protect ourselves fully but we have to try and we need to follow scammers strategies
