The best way to protect ourselves from scam is to avoid putting our private keys to any site. Always cross check website and links you click, always use wallet like imotoken and metamask to make transaction,never store your private keys on online services
It is a very actual problem which you touched. I consider that every member of the crypto community should make its contribution on fighting with rogues. its really hard to determine if a project is scam or not. if there is a way, I think there is no person or any individual that will having a problem with that. but since it is one of the most major problem in the crypto, there is no currency solution.

Very difficult to predict whether a project is legit or scam because scammers are making ways to fraud money,we must be careful now to invest in a project and research it first check their website and roadmap if the development of the project is good to avoid scam.
Take your time to make necessary researches and gather all information possible. Take a critical look at all the promises and don't trust ICOs that promise to make you super-extra-mega-rich within short period of time. And don't invest all your savings into only one project.
frankly this is very difficult to detect, even if we have done the analysis sometimes we are still fooled and stuck with the project scam. but for me, the research we do is the best way to protect ourselves and do not forget to always discuss if there is any doubt.

I think it is hard to avoid all of the scams but it is good to be careful to make the investment. We need ot find enough information about the coins such as the team members and the the project itself. If you can not find enough information, you had better go away.

scammers will always be there because a lot of greedy people want to make a profit quickly, cryptocurrency is of course the right target for greedy people and always has a malicious intention to take a chance by exploiting many investors to be part of the scammer's promised program. lately there are many scammer projects that bring the money that has been invested by the people involved, so before deciding to invest in a project that is able to offer big rewards should do more research on the people involved in the project and understand the future purpose of whitepaper that has been provided

Do you really asking this?theres a simple answer for this kind of questionThat is NEVER GET INTO SCAMMER ,meaning never participates in any form and act of scammers here,never invest with the unreliable project,and never join campaign that has no good team that simple way but truthfully
fraud is difficult to know. even people who are long in this field also mash I often come across many who complain because of the scam. might just as well not enough analysis to investigate the project. need some other references from the site or community that discusses this. so the more information will make the better too because you can exchange info about ICO good success or scam.
