Curious to know how everyone finds and learns about all different sorts of altcoins. I personally go onto coinmarketcap and just find a random coin, and then research it's name on google. How do you do it?

So you promote that site or ask a question

I spend a lot of my time here so I hear here enough about it. External links or additional searches on the internet is helpful too.
For fine details, some social networks are good too, because devs spend there a lot of their time.

I am always used to  coinmarketcap, because it do give more details about all Altcoin, also if I'm confused I will ask about it on the thread to get more clarity.
There are many ways your can find out about Altcoin, google is also one of the solution to that.

I also find out through the coinmarket. Also, with the help of telegram chats, and the search for new bounties.

Mostly I learn about other cryptos by new ads on coinmarketcap. There you can find all details about. But also about signatures and discussions on Bitcointalk.

Don't trust just words on most of sites that represents all of that coins, it's just marketing and advertising. Make your decisions only my being truly confident

There's too many coins on cmc so picking up a random coin may not be the best way to learn. I always search for what kind of coin that i am curious about like privacy, dividen, logistic or the one about banking. After that i read through their website and i will read the whitepaper if i find something interesting. Telegram chat is a great place especially if you have a good crypto discussion channel.

This forum, coinmarketcap. I think that's enough. I also used other resources, but this is not necessary.
Yes bitcointalk and cmc is enough to know the new coins out there, good thing is you can find useful information about the specific coin and some reviews about it through the members here so we can decide if its reliable or not. Social media such as fb, twitter, youtube and telegram are some good resources too just check on what is the latest trend in cryptos.

I visit ICO rating sites and find that very useful as they provide a summary of the ICO project. The ones I find interesting, I follow up by visiting their website, reading their whitepaper, finding out about the team and searching for reviews. Sometimes I will also follow up with signatures that I see here.

try to read the threads everyday listen to other peoples advice but do your research.  You could spend all day researching and you would still miss hidden gems and not know all the different crypto projects out there.

Well there is no particular source from where we get the information for the same. But we can get information from ANN, coinmarketcap or the other social networking sites...

This forum is of course the best tool, probably not as much in terms of quality but for sure in terms of quantity. It is then up to each one to understand the options available.
