A development team for an ICO doesn't have to "look" anything base on the point of view of each investor. They just have to be true with what they are working, no bias, no hidden agenda but true intention of making a project into reality.
Alas, only one intention is not enough. It is necessary that the team should include competent developers and competent marketing specialists and, in general, financially competent people.Agree by bringing together motivated students nothing good will come of it.

The team is experienced and has a good track record of building an ICO project. And what the number of team members, I think it's not so important. Because the project is with a real concept and has good prospects in the future, I think it would be better.

I think the perfect ICO team that is able to work well together can develop the ICO and have a good program to attract investors into it. make it a habit to analyze ICO before deciding to join it.

There is no perfect team, a good team should have good developers, good business men, top marketers, if possible notable personalities with experience in crypto. A very good team should put in their best in project development, not only about the money raised during token sale or sales on exchange. A good team should have the community / investors at heart. Do everything possible to avoid massive dips, for instance a buy back policy helps.

I think a the key attributes of a perfect ICO team is the experience with reputable companies in the necessary fields and industries. This is an indication that they have the expertise to make the project succeed

Firstly, I'll do findings to know if the team is real. I always like when the team does an AMA on YouTube, so I can ask questions directly. I will also check team profiles on LinkedIn. Secondly I'll look at their experience , especially in relation to the project aim. In as much as i want to see a team with great programmers, I will also look as for business gurus in the team. So in essence, a great team should be real, have good experience and devotion.

So, do you want to make a new project and ask how to convince the team? of course you have asked exactly what the team must have in the project. But that does not mean a perfect team. Make a solid team, consisting of professionals in the field, truly real, a good track record, and of course experience

I do not like much team members in any project u want to invest in but I have to admit that I am very fond of Asians especially the Chinese and Koreans, I love participating in projects that are owned by people from those countries because they are my ideal team.

Hello Bitcointalk Community,

I would like to know from your point of view as an investor how a Team needs to look to get convinced.

Apart from the idear of the project I would be glad to get to know your opinion how a perfect Team looks like.

The reason behind this question is, that some teams have 3-4 members and others show off with 20.

I am looking forward to a good discussion.

Cheers

Your Stag3 Team
I think if you want to find a good project just seeing a team that is open in running the project gives certainty not a promise and if you want to see the team please visit their profile whether experienced in running projects like in Linkend's profile and I think a lot of teams consist of 10 people are more convincing than 1-4 people

every investor certainly has their own views, I personally believe more with projects that have real products, such as exchange platforms. please make your own judgment.

One of the important points of consideration is team with a verifiable identity, but this does not determine the success of any project but gives some level of confidence and trust that a project is being handled be some verifiable individuals

It depend on the largeness of the project. When we are talking about team, we should not consider advisors as part of the team because they aren't part of the core team. For a small scale project, 5-10 team is OK while for a medium scale project, 15-25 team is OK while for the large scale project, 30-50 team member is OK. It is sad to see that despite the fact of enormous project that are being announced every day, 90% of them do not use their real profile. Many of them even use fake names

Any team should be well educated and know everything about their project, they should make good marketing decisions to support the hype around their projects. Furthermore, they need to stick to their roadmap and keep their promises.

The number of members is not a sure reference that the team is a great team, but a good team is an experienced team, meaning you have to look at the people behind the ICO, because the success of an ICO is due to the big name of the ICO team

First of all it should be filled with people that are active. I know that sounds like a no brainer thing but I have seen so many ICO's with team members who are just there for the name and they are mostly just working with the main core owners on some ideas and some funding stuff but that's it.

You can have just 10 people to work on your team and you will still be better than anyone ever. Everyone has to have their own positions and works cut out for them and they need to do it every single waking hour of the day. You have a community manager? Well that person has to talk with people all around the social media and bitcointalk and wherever else all day everyday, you have a CTO and a coder? They have to code and make it better every single day, you have marketing expert... well you got it. Most of the teams just exist as a team but we see very little action from them, we need actual concrete action.

Visiting all profiles from the team via LinkedIn is also an effective way to find out whether he has the ability or not to manage a project. if there is a team profile that is suspicious or cannot be accessed, we should leave the project.

your are making a good point.

Thanks

If you are new to project team I want to look legit then they need to provide all the details with transparent of their contact and everything they can do for their investor. Hiding themselves under someone's identity will show them as scam project.

In my opinion, a good team of a project can be considered a good team when they meet at least these criteria:
1. They are professional on their fields
2. They have experienced to do similar case projects or others with certain experiences.
3. They have a good track record previously to ensure us as the investors that they are real, not scammers.
I think those three criteria will really help us to pick the project and believe on the team.

I would add that most of the team should be public people. That is, they should have active profiles in social networks (at least in Linkedin and Facebook), created not a month before the announcement of the project.

And if I may add, they are not for get-rich-quick easy scheme but they have the intentions of really achieving their deliverables for the project. They might have the experience but their dedication to the project might be absent. And the dedication and passion of a particular team will only be seen by time.

yes you are right, maybe experience and expertise are important. but if they are not serious about developing the project, in the end the project will only become Trash. see there are many projects that are dead right now, and they have an experienced team. and the average main reason is because the development does not work well or not according to the specified roadmap.
