I think now that bitcoin prices are back up again and lots of people are starting to sell their coins because the price of coins has started to benefit again

you think you've got a profit, yes you can sell it. But if you have not gained a profit, what is good for you to do is to wait again.Then if you already get a profit but still not satisfied with the amount, you can wait longer to be able to get the maximum profit in accordance with what you expect.
All that is at the level of patience and satisfaction of each of you.
If I am bullsih on the project I may never sell but if I know a project is nly a pump and dump I just enter for a quick flip and never look back, For icos my strategy is to get my intitial investment early and hold the rest for next pump
Selling at a very good price anytime of the day is also my strategy but that's only for alt coins that has a low concept and less community support. For those potential altcoins, i am really holding it for good no matter how high its price may get.

I think we can keep them for a year or longer. We need to be more patient to wait for the right price. It depends on your profit goal. If the price falls, you can wait for the price to go up, also You can hold your coins for a few months to get better profits.
Yes still depends if price already in high it is good to sell don't be too greedy. Price is unstable we should keep in mind that price may down and up so better sell if in profit already. I can wait as long as it take to rise for me to be more and more profitable. If the price is low I can wait for 2 years or more than that before selling it. Everyone that want to gain a lot of money than the one used to invest should know that no matter what, bitcoin will rise. If not check the price before sell you get more loss. So wait for some week. Then price will be increases. Time is important for this process. Check the price day by day. Then you know price information
There is no fix time on how long to wait because it depends on the market run so just being patient. If you have patient in cryptocurrency market, better you dont enter this here because you might loss your capital in the end.
It can be good to hold if you have still belief toward bitcoin importance today and in the future. If you don't have any little beliefs that it will recover again in the coming months then you can decide now to sell your bitcoin If you want big profit just Hodl your coins until you meet your target profit. The key is that we need to be more patient in waiting the exact time and moment before selling it and ofcourse focus on whats good after that happening. There's no fix time on how long you should be holding. You should set the target price when you buy some investment and you set the price by researching about the investment and make a rough calculation of its potential. If you believe that the price will raise in 2-3 year then keep holding until that, you may enter at the wrong time because you got FOMO'ed so you should think again why you buy bitcoin and whether you believe that blockchain will become important or not.When we buying, whether in ico or market, we should set our goal on how much is the price will we sell it then set in the exchange. We can not watch the market 24 hours a day so let the exchange work for us. Though the goal has achieved less than a month, we dont need to wiat till 2 or 3 year later.

It’s really depends on the coin that your holding. If your holding bitcoin you should keep it for a long time.if it’s a regular altvoon probably you can wait 2-3 months to know if will go up or go down. Some altcoin is going up even the value of bitcoin is going down.for me it’s really depends on the coin.
The true is that, No one really knows when It's right to sell. The same goes for knowing the perfect time (bottom) to buy in. But doing some researches and monitoring of the market might give you an heads up whether or not you should create a position, short or sell off. If anyone claims otherwise, It's just guesswork. Nothing more.

only you decide how long you will wait. I same think that by the end of the year bitcoin will return on to 20,000$
