Till you can get profit, you will not loss your money if you don't sell your coin in lower price. A few years ago bitcoin price is only about $200 but in line of bitcoin adoption the price is now increase, just wait.I think it would be wise if you sell it when the value increase. Ofcourse you also have to invest time for that but if you will earn bigger there is nothing wrong in being patient, everything needs time so be patient a earn big be wise in making decisions.

Selling in only based on two things. First as long as you are in the need of money then you need to sell your coins for the sake of cash or if you are getting a huge amount of profit from the tokens you are having with you then you can sell.

I think it depends on the situation of the market. Personally I sell when the market is very green, when there is so much to gain compare to what you invested. No investors will like to sell at a very low price and red market and this as to do with understanding the market situation.

I don't believe that Bitcoin will reach the amazing numbers as you said to the end 2018. Bitcoin will continue to grow of course. But it would not be an immense rise like it was in 2017. It will be quite moderate moving.
It doesn't matter how long,if you want to make profit ,just buy low price and sell high ,so it depend on prices of you coins and how much profit you want to earn.
There is no time limit if you want to sell, regardless of the value of cryptocurrency up or down, because you are keep your own coin so it's up to you, I'm sure when you buy you have set goal want to be sold in what price or increase percentage.

You can keep holding until bitcoin have back to usually price and have on high price, just waiting and keep your bitcoin. you can trade or you can hold bitcoin as far you want to keep it until bitcoin will be expensive price. Right now bitcoin have been back to normal price where step by step bitcoin on proggres to high again. You keep and waiting for one week and see bitcoin will be expensive, never seel your bitcoin at low price.
Till you can get profit, you have to hold your coin. I think end of this year price will increase. So you keep your coins with you until prices will rise
I think that you should wait as long as it takes for the market to recover fully, you don't need to get impatient. As the market wouldn't go down forever. It would definitely rebound sooner or later. So, It would be better for you to wait for a few months, the longer you wait, the better it would be for you. As the market is down, if you sell now it wouldn't be profitable for you.

To me, there is not set time for selling your coin. It all depends on how much profit you wish to make that's all, you may wish to sell at $20k another may wish to sell at $15k. So that's how it works.
Months or years? If months, I think you should wait, patience is the best key to have good profits. Altcoins and bitcoin will pump again. If ears I think you should know hat will be the colume of exchange of this coins. And you should know if the ICO is still running. Sometimes always be updated when it cones to ICO that you are joining and if you have coins.
The lenghth of time you have to wait to sell of is totally on you as an investor, if you feel like its no longer worth being part of crypto then you cn sell out what you hold and exit. Its also upon you to decide whether what's on offer in terms of pricing in the market is worth selling at. there is really no particular period of time to wait and sell.
