Maybe around 60% knows Bitcoin and 40% understands it. but with the popularity it posses now i think from 60% it will continue to rise but we have to consider also those who can't access to the internet.
Because bitcoin is so popular and theres so many news about it from now. Many people heard about bitcoin but only few started to know and invest in bitcoin. I guess 50-60percent of all people worldwide know about bitcoin. And only around 3%to5% have bitcoins in their wallet.
I think in the next few years, bitcoin development in Indonesia will increase sharply compared to previous years, because the rapid information through the media and large population, will affect the percentage of people to know bitcoin, probably still about 80% who know bitcoin.
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.
Here in my country I think 40% knows about Bitcoin 30% of that 40% are those who really understand and has enough knowledge about blockchain technology used by Bitcoin itself while 10% of them were newbies that has limited idea maybe in the learning process or those that in doubt or undecided. The remaining 60% are those who don't really care or noob about Bitcoin. If we are talking about worldwide for me it has the same percentage like 60%-40% but I am not that sure since community is getting bigger and bigger.
To calculate this value, you have to take a percentage of people who don't use internet in their daily life, also add here a part of humanity who don't have a computer or electricity at all...I think not many people in the world know about BTC

The world of the population is overgrowing, but the number of people who know virtual currencies is minimal. I do not think many people turn to Bitcoin in the world, Only about 30% of the world's population know and understand what Bitcoin is and how it works. i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.
I don't know what exact percentage of people use or know about crypto currency especially in bitcoin, because there's so many people even nowaday they didn't know what crypto currency or bitcoin is.
if it is the year of 2015 there are just not some of the people in whole world knows about bitcoin because it is not very famous at that time but this year 2018 almost 80% of the people in the whole world knows about it.
No one knows for sure how many people know about bitcoin I know bitcoin legal usage in Japan, United States, South Korea,Finlandia,Denmark and Russia if the bitcoin is still a bit automatic who knows bitcoin in this world is also still a little.Maybe if it is presented only 10% -20%.Most bitcoins in the country are used for online transactions.

Percentage of the people depends on the bitcoins usage and bitcoin knowledge and it varies from country to country. In developed countries, almost 50% to 60% people are aware of the bitcoin and it includes countries like US, Uk, Australia, and Canada. According to the Media reports China has around 25% to 30% of the people knowing about the bitcoin. My country India has almost 10% to 15% of people knowing about Bitcoin and I hope that once the government starts supporting the Bitcoin these numbers are going to increase soon.

I don't have the percentage but I think many people knows about bitcoin as this has been the phenomenal technology that been created. The news has been circulated around the social media and also in local TV channel. Although not all people will bite this as they have fear of losing their money if they will invest in bitcoin. 
Nowadays many people know about bitcoin. But most people who know bitcoin are knowledgeable and know how to use computers. In Vietnam, only about 7% of the population know about bitcoin, most of them men. In more advanced countries, more modern technology will have more people know bitcoin. A family member who is successful in bitcoin, family members will care and know bitcoin.

The number of people that know about bitcoin is fairly big, especially with last year's huge price bump and the mass media talking about it everyday and night,i 'd say 40% of the world population knows about it, but the number of people who had the curiosity to know more about it would be 20%, and the people actually using bitcoin consistently would be probably about 15 to 10%.
I think many people know the existence of bitcoin because it was air in television, radio and social media is the major factor here, expect that many people willing to get involve in bitcoin or other cypto currencies.

I believe many people know bitcoin or at least heard about it, especially when BTC aggressively rose up during the last part of 2017. It might be around 75% here in our country. However, for those who were really involve in this cryptocurrency, say investing and holding and trading were very limited. For Manila, my estimate would be 23% of the population is involved in it.

You can’t be asking such questions cause nobody knows. Not even companies offering the services knows how many users they have when it comes to their platform. You can’t tell how many people are using Bitcoin because one person can have up to five wallets and more than twenty addresses. If you count it according to how many wallets are being used and how many addresses, you’re making mistake. 
I do not know exactly how many people are know about bitcoin but people around the world have known about this currency. Probably from some people of these countries already know but do not use bitcoin at all.

It's hard to make statistics about the number of the users in the world. I don't know if there are 1%-5% of citizens in my country that are using bitcoin or does have an idea on what bitcoin is. With the latest 7.8 number of world's population last December 2017.I think the popularity of btc will not exceed beyond 20% of the world total population. In our country although social media here is widespread but people do ignore bitcoin news or information about it.

If in the world I think it was 80% has a knowledge in bitcoin and 20% doesn't have the bitcoin now is quiet popular unlike other coin and it is globally competitive in the market, if it is in our country it is 60% has a knowledge and 40% who doesn't have knowledge in bitcoin or don't want to involve in any cryptocurrency.
many of people know about bitcoin but bitcoin user is not much with people that just knowing bitcoin
if you say in your country is about 10% maybe i can agree with that
because in many country in asian region are still don't accepted bitcoin because the goverment it self don't accepted that
and just few people that are keeping bitcoin and can't doing transaction with that in that country
