I don't think i have thought to quitting gambling or if i have done so in times past it should be in the early days of gambling but i can't quit because i gamble seasonally. I know of someone who managed to stop gambling with the help of friends and loved ones but yet it wasn't easy.

But one thing i have experienced personally about gambling is no matter how much a gambler tries to stop as long as they keep surrounding themselves with what gives them the drive to gamble, chances are that the former gambler will be lured into trying out a few odd. It somehow impossible quitting gambling by self determination except someone comes to help.

I tried a couple of times to quit gambling after serious losses when I was in full despair over the lost money, but I still returned to the casino after a while. Gambling is something that accompanies us throughout life, so it's very difficult to completely outgrow gambling. In my opinion, it is better to learn to control yourself with gambling and limit your bankroll to play.

I honestly tried to stop gambling more than twice before especially when I have big losses and even used the funds that aren't allocated for gambling. I was so distressed at that time and didn't know where to get funds to repay thw money that I used for gambling. I stopped for a year and learned my lesson but I still got back and have been a responsible gambler. I have learned enough from that experience so I already know how to discipline myself when it comes to gambling.

Some people can't stop and some can just forget about it and go on to doing something else. If a person had already gone addicted to gambling before and then overcome it when he was still a teen, I think it's easier for him to stop. For someone who had just become addicted to gambling and then wanted to stop, it may require willingness.
Be it a teen or an adult, to quit gambling after they have been addicted requires willingness. The problem that most addicted gamblers face is that they are not welling to stop, once they think that this is not helping them and can destroy their life as they are addicted and willing to stop, they will stop.

I do gamble with dice and blackjack from time to time but when I lose the amount I allocated for that time, I also quit and let go of the loss.
You let go of the loss, but you did not quit gambling, you only stop gambling for awhile for a bad mind not to build up within you at the time which can make you to lose significant sum of money in gambling.

But that proves I can stop any moment after all I don't think I'm addicted. Anyone can practice gambling the same way especially if they have a priority for example doing thier regular job than gambling all the time. Or having a family to take care of which is an obligation.

Once they find thier priority in life, everything else can be forgotten. Having a kid divides the attention of a person + a job to keep and mortgages and so on. A family man understands this I guess.

Gambling has become an everyday thing for some people and this act has lead to serious addiction which is not good. When gambling we should understand that we are just playing for fun. Most people i know around always take gambling as a very serious issue and i have this particular friend that always complains to me how he has stopped gambling but from no where you still see him gambling again. Me myself am a sesonal gambler and i only gamble on the sport i know which is soccer, i think exploration of new gambling games you are familiar with also causes this repeated feeling of always quitting gambling. I just want to know if this phrase is common among everyone or its just he catch phrase whenever you experiences a big loss.

For gamblers who have an addiction to it, it will be really difficult for them to stop it. Unless they force themselves not to play at the casino.

So just like I said it won't be easy on the part of the gamblers who are addicted to the casino, especially since they are already experienced in winning large sums of money. Because their mindset is that they will win again more than they won.

Those who had huge losses always intend to stop gambling. That is natural for humans; an anger; a reaction to something negative. If burned, people dont touch hot pan twice. Every person who has lost the game he though he will win, will always think of stop gambling.

When we speak about gambling, we automatically think about addiction. That is why a person can only pause his gambling habbits, be he is not able to stop it completely. Those who say they can - they lie, they just cant accept the fact they are weak.

I have tried many times to stop gambling, but apparently, I still can't do it because the temptation to continue gambling always comes, especially when I have money. I can deposit money weekly to my gambling account and play the slot games I like. But even so, it didn't make me play too long and cause me to suffer big losses because I realized the longer I played, my losses could be bigger than I could imagine. But I'm not complaining because I haven't been able to stop gambling and try to enjoy it. After all, I think this is a process before I can really stop gambling one day.

I didn't have plans to stop gambling but I can pause and rest from it whenever I want. I could stop for a while whenever I have big losses but I have no intentions of quitting since it's one of the best things that entertain me whenever I feel stressed. Gambling serves as my source of fun and entertainment but if I could feel that I'm already playing beyond my limits, I stop and control my urge to gamble. If we can control ourselves from too much gambling, quitting or stopping anytime will never be that hard.

Not intended but actually stopped for a while I have a two-week break after I lose, but after I forgot what I lose, I get back and recover some of my losses, stopping for a few days is good, and part of your mindset of controlling how you gamble, only compulsive gamblers continue to gamble until there's nothing left for them, that is why some casino have an exclusion period feature because they know that gamblers need to take a break from time to time.

Generally when a gambler can make a lot of money, of course he will feel very addicted and always want to bet. But subconsciously the defeat he experienced was far greater than the gain he had before. It is done almost every day then the addiction will start to appear and it will be very hard to get rid of. I am also a gambler but I can always control what I bet and not keep fixating on the results because if I think about it continuously it will make my life even more ruined. Therefore the importance of self-control over our will is the main point for a gambler if he wants to stop gambling.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Stop gambling if you have mental problems or depression but for me this is still quite manageable and I have never used big money but the extra money that I get in crypto is not always on the gambling board continuously, I only often when betting sports which are favorites and some of the slots that are played when there is boredom just playing some games.
We should never think that gambling can make money, let alone get rich, that is a wrong reality, enough with entertainment that you play gambling must be fun.

Countless times but most of those instances were when I was losing big time. And if I remember it correctly those were my younger years in this industry wherein I used to be a high roller. I was losing big time which always gave me the idea to quit dince there's a tendency for me to end up with debt if I won't make a change. Fortunately, I came across with sports gambling which somehow changed my vision in this industry. I enjoyed my experience more since I am into sports in the first place therefore making me not only into profit but also for entertainment. From that I've learned to set limits with the amount I would be spending in this industry, up until this point.

If gambling is bad for you and you have many attempts to stop and those attempts have failed, It may become more difficult for you to stop because the mindset and idea that since you have tried many times without success in trying to stop, gambling may actually be impossible for you to stop. With every failed attempt to end an addiction, it becomes more of a problem to stop, that is why every person in that position has to also be truthful to themselves to know that they need help from professionals.

Do not be afraid to seek help from professionals, your case is not peculiar and you can still stop gambling if that is your intention.

I stop losing count and stop counting because there's no use counting you will only get disappointed and what's the point of counting if you will do it again and again, you can stop whenever you want if you lose a big amount or you are busy into something I have known gamblers who stop one time or many times but eventually return playing, you're not a gambler if you never stop or think of stopping, I think its part of being responsible, stopping when you think you're taking it to much.

I know that in life there are points we may want to give up due to the fact that our expectations aren't meant the way we wanted them, and the same applies to all of us gamblers on this forum, because I have literally stopped gambling twice, due to the fact that I lost a very huge amount of money, and I thought maybe gambling wasn't meant for me, and the best solution was to give up. But after some months I found myself gambling again, but this time at a moderated pace.

So it's okay to take a break from gambling if you notice it's affecting your finance.

Although I am not addicted to gambling, but from time to time I just want to try my luck and, as a rule, once I lose, I am once again convinced that this is not the best way for me to make money, after that I can not return to the game for a long time. And of course I'm not trying to recoup, it can only worsen the situation, for myself I have long concluded that luck in gambling does not help me.

I haven't tried to stop but because it's not a problem for me. I play little, with low amounts, being aware that the odds are against me, and always with money I can afford to lose. I take it as an entertainment expense, with the difference that from time to time I come out with more money than I put in.

So, I don't have to set out to stop, and in fact, there are seasons when I don't gamble, simply because I don't feel like it or because I'm busy and don't even think about it.
Same for myself too. I don’t see any gambling addiction towards how I gamble because I only gamble whenever I have extra money intended for gambling. And it’s very occasional too when my friends and I would go into gambling casinos to entertain ourselves. That’s why it’s never an issue for me on how to stop gambling since I was never really serious when it comes to gambling.

Your friend is obviously addicted to gambling already. Yeah, there are individuals who play for fun, but still though, money is involved. So unless you have money to burn, when you gamble you think of winning.

Me myself am a sesonal gambler and i only gamble on the sport i know which is soccer, i think exploration of new gambling games you are familiar with also causes this repeated feeling of always quitting gambling. Good for you, I guess majority here are also into sports betting because the chance to win is high as compare to slot games. Not sure if there are gamblers willing to explore new sports though, because if you don't know the rules then you might bet on teams that is on the losing side. Yes, I think whenever we experience a big loss, before we go to sleep we think of quitting already. But when we wake up the next morning, it might be different.

I never stop gambling because I can handle my money and emotion, so it wouldn't make me become an addict.

I don't know where you live, but if gambling is forbidden in your country, it's mean the only way for you and your friend to gamble are through online casino. So in order to stop gambling, your friend need to seek for professional, uninstall all of the software in his device and only install application which is safe for kids. So there's no way for him to gamble and there's no gambling ads anymore.
