For me you dont need to stop gambling even you have enough money because money is possible to consume entirely. Just make sure not to be addicted to it, if you think you lose a lot then rest for a while and think what next you do, so that you avoid and wont happen again. Also its possible to stop gambling because its depend to someone, those who stop gambling are the one who have enough money.
No, for me, it is better to stop gambling on that day because, at least, I still have money to be used tomorrow. Stay away from the addicting will be hard to do as gambling will tempt us to come back and play more and more. I always try to stop for a while if I think I don't have a chance in the next round, and I think I succeed in doing that. But I realize that I still need to practice to stop gambling anytime I want even I still have money to continue playing gambling.
Setting up financial goals in gambling usually ends up badly. And not because people can't stop after reaching their goals(most people can cope with that), but because you are a little bit more likely to lose, even if the house edge is just 1%. From what I know, "almost reaching your goal" is a common cause of gambling addiction. It always feels like it shouldn't take long until your goal is reached, but it never ends.
I guess that will depend on the person. As long as he can have control for himself, and he can stop right away after he reaches his goals, he will not have a problem in gambling. But yes, I feel that the word "almost reaching your goal" can attract us to come to play gambling, and yes, the addiction will start at that moment. When we try to continue, then the "almost reaching your goal" will be gone because you are losing your money.
