Can you involve money for you to stop gambling or a gambler can really stop after he promises that if he wins this jackpot he will stop?
This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.

If it is just for a certain time then it would depend on my deposit,
Example if I won xx amount for today I would stop and withdraw,
But if it means to stop forever then I think it would be impossible for any gambler surely after they received their goal they would still continue to gamble.

That's the dilemma of most gamblers. Even if they promised to stop when they win big. They will definitely go back again to try their luck again. Difficult to make promises if you know deep within yourself that the desire to gamble is still there. It will require will power and sheer determination to totally stop your gambling addiction. And not when you promised to yourself, if you win big you will stop. That's not gonna help.

Sometimes even after promising to stop, you can't really fullfill that promise because you might think that there's still a higher chance to win huge money and reach the jackpot but mostly that isn't the case. I too have experienced and it made regret my decision, i should have withdrawn when there's still a chance to earn good profit.

This is true especially when your surrounding people are still in gambling.
I used to say that I am going to quit gambling, but I was seeing all my friends go out and gamble in sports, so I had to do the same as they did - at least I was gambling with less money and I didn't suffer many losses.

If I set an amount like for example 50,000pesos considering of getting back all of my losses, it will still take a long time for me to stop in gambling. Well maybe it is effective to other people. We have different ways to limit ourselves but make sure not to cheat. Stop gambling right after you get that amount.

When the gambling was invented there are so many people have been attracted on it because of it's easy way of earning money. Gambling gives us entertainment especially if we win in every play that gives us happiness every winning profit. As a gambler, I don't totally stop in playing gambling because I controlled it, I play gambling when I have a leisure time and I will not prioritized it, because if I prioritized it maybe I can be addicted gambling someday.

It is impossible, the more you win the more the game pulls you, but in my experience i don't wait to double my initial balance. Just 0.3x-0.4x is enough and i will stop playing.
I view gambling as leisure not as primary source of income.

If people play and enjoy the game for leisure purpose then it is totally fine as you would always be in that control and happy state whatever the results may be beacuse you do not just play to make money from it . If you win then it’s a good thing and it’s more fun else too it’s fine that’s what I always think.

Wanting to win huge amount of money usually ends up badly.
Because when gambler win a lot of money the mindset of a gambler will never change. He will still gamble when he have money to spare. That is greediness and it will never end.
Managing the proper approach to this kind of business is very important, if you can control yourself and you are well aware from what to do in order to quit away once you already achieved your targets.  Lots of views and self explanations since gamblers have different analysis around this industry, it's a tough call especially to those who are attached too much with gambling, there's no certainty as they will keep finding themselves continuing while still have money to spare.

For me you dont need to stop gambling even you have enough money because money is possible to consume entirely. Just make sure not to be addicted to it, if you think you lose a lot then rest for a while and think what next you do, so that you avoid and wont happen again. Also its possible to stop gambling because its depend to someone, those who stop gambling are the one who have enough money.

No, for me, it is better to stop gambling on that day because, at least, I still have money to be used tomorrow. Stay away from the addicting will be hard to do as gambling will tempt us to come back and play more and more. I always try to stop for a while if I think I don't have a chance in the next round, and I think I succeed in doing that. But I realize that I still need to practice to stop gambling anytime I want even I still have money to continue playing gambling.

Setting up financial goals in gambling usually ends up badly. And not because people can't stop after reaching their goals(most people can cope with that), but because you are a little bit more likely to lose, even if the house edge is just 1%. From what I know, "almost reaching your goal" is a common cause of gambling addiction. It always feels like it shouldn't take long until your goal is reached, but it never ends.

I guess that will depend on the person. As long as he can have control for himself, and he can stop right away after he reaches his goals, he will not have a problem in gambling. But yes, I feel that the word "almost reaching your goal" can attract us to come to play gambling, and yes, the addiction will start at that moment. When we try to continue, then the "almost reaching your goal" will be gone because you are losing your money.

I stand with Ukraine.
There are two kinds of gamblers: those who stop when their winning exceeds a certain threshold and those who can't stop until they lose everything. The first group is the majority of gamblers, around 90%-95% of them, and for this group it's enough to win a certain amount, which is different for different people, to feel happy about their win, and to cashout instead of trying to win more. People from the second group are addicted gamblers. They are sick, and they need a medical treatment. Fortunately, most people have the power to control themselves. If it weren't so, gambling would be prohibited everywhere.

When they can stop after their winning, then that will not be a problem for them, but mostly, a gambler will trying to get another winning. That is happening to many gamblers, and maybe they have not addicted people to gambling, but they only want to get another winning. But some people make goals in gambling, and if they reach their goals, they will stop and leave gambling. Maybe they will come back on another day, but they won't use the winning money to gamble for longer because they don't want to see their win money will lose.

This would be tricky for everybody, because most likely they are stuck between continuing or stopping, but most of the time they continue because just like what I've said, greed. The term "enough" would be inappropriate to use in the world of gambling, especially if you are after the profits, you can't stop as long as your winning, you can't also stop if you always losing because you badly wanted to win and finally make a good huge profit on it.

I would say that they will continue to playing gambling than to stop gambling because when they win, the passion for winning for another winning will be bigger. I have that experience in the past, and at that time, I still continue playing gambling, but what I got is I am losing some of my winning money, but then I stop playing because I don't want to see all of my winning money is gone. Yes, greed will also become bigger because we want to get more winning, so that makes us continue playing. There is never enough money to stop gambling unless you have the power to control yourself to say I want to stop playing gambling.

ENOUGH in detailed (this based on my experience):
- When your profit already reach your target. STOP.
- When you loose, stopped immediately. Never touch that platform on that day. You can do the next day or when you are "ready".

This kind of behavior will help you to build attitude and portfolio (especially in trading).

Greed will never listed to anyone of us eve if we yelled the word "ENOUGH"

A person who has no control over their attitude to gambling shouldn't be gambling at all. One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they don't put a limit on their gambling activities in case things doesn't go as planned, there should be a plan B in place. Just as traders have stop loss orders and trailing stop orders in case the market doesn't go their way.  I got a free bonus to try one of the newest gambling platforms (Luckydice.com).... At first, I was winning but then losses started piling up. So I stopped for that day (maybe I was off my lucky charm Wink ) I had to stop myself from playing that day and  boom, the next day, I did much more better!

It's important to understand that success might not come in full at one go. Small steps accumulates in the long run.

Yes, many gamblers lose their money in gambling because of losing control too. Maybe in out there, more gamblers who have those experience but they still trying to recover their losses by taking loans from other people. That person will not stop gambling even if they win millions because gambling is very attractive and always invite them to come back to play another game. But I believe that some gambler will stop gambling if they win the money or huge money.
They are needing self-control so that they would not be losing too much, it is not the amount of money that could you get to stop you, it is the control of us in everything that we are doing, no matter how much we will get still if we are an addict or not satisfied with the amount that we get, or even if we already get the target still it will not be the way to stop a gambler, it can only either pushes him to be a better gambler or to be an addict player.

there is no need for me to win just to stop because i can control myself,i don't intend to Gamble just to Earn money but to Earn happiness .
this is what my fathers thought me win i was very young because in our community Back then?most of the Male gambles almost everyday and they are aiming to win so family can eat,so they can have clothes and house rents.
from then i learn that Gambling wont give us fortune but only failure if you live life for this one.why need to gamble when there are job opportunities that will give us real life.
It is good for you to have that self-control, it is too hard to stop, or to pause for a while but soon it will worth it, it will bring so much fun and excitement to us, so better to have that self-control and do not be an addict.
Yeah it's good for you to keep control over your emotions and not to spend such a huge amount for gambling only. So when you invest your money make sure you spend a small amount that you can afford apart from other expenses as if you will invest bigger amount so you will remain to worry about the loose abs you will surely win at the end if you play relaxed.
