Not sure that a gambler can keep his promise to stop once it already becomes a habit or regular activity in daily life. Moreover, if he wins a jackpot with a big prize. Psychologically, he must be interested to continue and play more for another prize. Frankly speaking, this is technically true, the more money you had, the more chances you could try to win, that should be the right complete sentence for other not to misunderstood this mindset. For example, there are two people, one have $100 and the other one have $1,000, if they are going to bet the same amount of bet per roll or per round ($10 per round), obviously, the person who have $1,000 would last even longer, and there is a huge chance for him to win if he will spend all that $1,000 in trying.
On the negative side of this mindset, if they are going to bet their money on just one go, of course their fate would be just the same, either they win or lose, well they would lose, to be honest.

There's no really limit or enough for gambling that's just how greed of humans works, once they succeed in achieving something they move to another goal. That's how gambling works let's say you won a $100,000 but its still not enough so you wager more, we're never really content with anything even if you've manage to multiply $100k to $500k.
Yes, the human will never satisfy with what they got before, and they always want more and more. If they win $100,000, they still want bigger money from gambling, and they will playing gambling longer than before because they think that if they play for a long time, they will have a chance to win bigger money. That will be the wrong mindset because we don't have a guarantee to always get a win in the next round. We can stop gambling anytime, and it's not about how much money we can win in gambling.

These are the people that end up really bad. Stopping is not their solution but also a rehabilitation. There are studies made that gambling is a huge concern for those who are addicted same sensation when you are a smoker who can't stop due to this satisfaction and feeling of doing it.
I cant help myself but pity them as gambling resulted into a much bigger problem especially when it involves huge money. I remember that someone in pur country try to make a havoc on a casino, and his proven to be a regular player there who loses everytime until his money gone. Now his addiction turn into violence leaving a mess with the said casino with some casualties. Obviously he can't accept the fact so he did some crime and unfortunate some died on his action.

I think that the idea of stop-win situation when it comes to betting is really hard to find because those are looking for this opportunity they end up spending even more money after their "stop-win" situation so in my opinion betting should be used as fun, as an extra reason for you to watch your favorite game instead of gambling money with the purpose of getting rich. The thing that I think is good for gambling addicts is hypno therapy so that their brains return to normal.
Actually even defeats aren't the right reason for the gamblers to stop gambling because there are still players who are still playing even up to the point that they are consistently experiencing failures because of the addiction they have. For me stopping gambling is not about how much money has been made but stopping gambling is about the desires of the heart, when your heart is out of sync with your mind then it will be in vain. For a people or a gambler who have a lot at stake in real life: responsibilities and issues, I think they will base on the circumstances they have in the real world their decision in gambling weather to continue or not. If a gambler would become contented in life, fulfilled their necessities and wants, I think it is more likely for them to chose settling and just go on in life because, they do not have anymore reasons to continue gambling and accumulate earning from it. So, I think, being contented in life is the key for someone to stop gambling.

The first one is the gambler who can control himself, playing to have fun or just for entertainment and winning is not really his concern hence if ever he win its like a bonus. This kind of gambler can stop and didnt need to win huge amount just to quit.On the other side a gambler who became addicted is most likely the one who cant stop even they hit the jackpot. Its like a routine that cant break and in need of professional help to overcome the addiction.
