I tend to agree, that such question is indeed a great way to start a productive conversation, especially with addicted gamblers, but I can't agree on the second part, that you have to bet high to be able to win big because there are dozens of lotteries and other opportunities were for literally 1$ one can win millions of $$$. Let's take Euromillions or any other national lottery as an example.

Of course, these can be used as an excuse by gamblers, when they are on the losing strike and already lost a lot of money, but still, this is only an excuse. This is true that it is very possible that one will win big if bet high enough, when betting on sport or horses, but in real life, the biggest wins are gained for the price of mentioned above lottery ticket, which costs usually 1USD.


This is true because addiction is very sneaky. I keep repeating this same (already gambling almost 20 years) because I had never problems related to my gambling (money, personal life), but to be honest, only a close friend, family or specialist, would be able to notice or diagnose addiction correctly. Many times one can just afford to gamble and lose significant amounts of money, but this doesn't mean that he is not addicted. I think, these are the toughest and most difficult cases, which are the hardest and sometimes almost impossible to get help.  

sorry mate but i think there is nobody that tend to become addicted?all the people i talked that once addicted and those still now says they don't know that they are addicted instead there is no plan and just happened.

and many of them until now are not accepting they are addict.

I think the question is formulated correctly. Some gamblers, especially those who tend to become addicted, use the lack of money as an excuse for their constant gambling. And it is right to ask them "How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling?" This way you can start a productive conversation, during which you can explain that to have a chance to win a lot, one should risk a lot, and that maybe it's not worth even trying.

Yeah where with this we should try to spend the minimum amount of money as in case of losing the money you will not be afraid of it and in case of winning you will be happy though. So I think 10 percent is enough to spend on gaming and keep others saved but never try to recover if once you gave a bad day in gambling as this way you will lose more and more.

A gambler will not stop his game by just having a target money to obtain, if he will gonna do this one, it will only makes him frustrated and will keep him anxious and the tendency of it is it will make him addict, let the gambler to enjoy his game, but in moderation and proper management of time and especially money. I will not stop gambling since it is my hobby and it makes me feel happy.

with these words I am sure that you will not stop because you will never be satisfied in gambling. but if your goals are multiple profits then I think there will be time for you to get bored of gambling, especially if you can already get a lot of money from other methods which are certainly easier.

Basically we've tackled this in our circle of friends. Mostly, they are gamblers, but their answer is quite simple. as long as you haven't lose amount of your total amount of fund you've bet, you could try to play again and again. Once it exceed your investment or total bet, it is pretty fair to stop it right there, and go back when you have another set of funds to risk and play again. But in my opinion, I need to have almost 5 times of profit first from playing because IMO, it is not worthy to stop if you haven't earned allot.

There's really any amount of money that can put a stop from gambling, people are gambling because of the satisfaction and the excitement and this is something that money can give, so they will still continue to gamble whether they win huge amount or lose a huge amount, it's part of their routine already.

We can say that people who don't have self-control never go for gambling, but in reality, we are seeing many of them are trying to playing gambling. They say that they want to feel gambling, especially in crypto gambling, but suddenly, they become deeper inside the gambling games, and in the end, they become addicted to gambling.

If they already in the gambling games, they always say that if they can win one more time, they will stop gambling, no matter how much the money they can win. But they cannot control themselves because once they win, they will want to get the other winning.

In gambling, wise people can find only a few and most people start as fun but end up in addiction. If one doesn't have self-control it is better never go for gambling. Wow! That is the extraordinary way that I found, you prefer to gamble than on vacation, and what's great is that it's all a comparison to have fun. I really appreciate your way to get pleasure without spending a lot of money, but for me personally it is very unlikely, because holidays and gambling are something very different. However, someone has their own way to stop gambling, and to get a big profit to stop gambling is still very likely to be done by many gamblers out there, including me at that time.

I also made a bet because I wanted to have fun and also to relieve stress, maybe playing a bet might help me a little compared to having to take a vacation. so if to get a big profit then I will stay away from betting because it will make you more stressed, in betting it will be better if you don't always see profits because I personally can have fun inside here.

In my opinion, gambling addiction is not only about fun anymore because there's a deeper reason why someone is drowning from it. For me the real reason why it's very hard to get away from it is the greed of money (very obvious of course). When this thing kicks in, our mind is now misdirected thus resulting to bad decisions which later become losses, debts and broken relationships.

Regarding about the title, I don't also even know what price is the right mark for us to stop gambling forever (actually I guess there's none ). Just look at the hustlers and poker stars you know, they don't stop gambling despite of being millionaires then what more for small time gamblers like us.

That is good, you gambling not only for money you gamble for fun. Ang I know you enjoy what you are doing because even you lose you feel happy because you know in your self that you enjoying gamble win or lose. And for me I also do that even I won big money I still gamble because I will enjoy it also for sure.

I guess they get carried away by the fun. It's quite risky to get too attached to things that benefit you very little. I'd rather play with bot if  ever I get interested in spending reasonable amount of money in some types of gamblings. I will just set the bot & forget about it to play as long as possible, and hope it makes profit in a time period

There are times when people stop gambling when they have won enough money and so on they just want to enjoy it. But the most common is that they will return to gambling and even they look very addicted and continue playing until they spend the amount of money they won before.

Gambling addiction is the most difficult thing to get rid of, I feel the same and maybe it's the experience of gamblers in general.

But if you did not want to stop gambling even you win a millions dollars make sure you know your limits because yes you are enjoying but we know that every play or every money you spend your money is in the high risk and you will not know if you win or not so once you win big money just secure the most money and spend only like 10 percent and once it all gone better to take a next plan like stopping gambling or lower your betting.

Both of your conjecture is contradicting to one another. In such a case that being a winner of a million dollar will still make you play games in gambling but in fact, you said that you aren't playing for a purpose of winning but for fun. In my opinion, the real reason why you play is because you enjoy playing in a sole reason that you could earn amounts of bitcoin or altcoin from playing.

This is quite normal for gamblers. So going back to the topic, you need not to measure your winnings for you to stop gambling, but, you should measure the amount of your losses and start to think if gambling is healthy for you, or you aren't lucky enough in the field of gambling.
