Indeed. If you already have a family but still playing without limitation or do not think of the welfare of your family first before anything else then you're a kind of person who is irresponsible and selfish.

I always have in mind that money which are dedicated for betting are lost money.
This way I don't mind gambling a lot and my bets are with little money. Usually my bets are around $1 each. I know that I won't make it money with this betting but I am sure that I won't lose my money as well.

That's lovely to hear when you have changed at all after marriage, looks like you have a happy marriage after all. Our responsibility with our family should be our top priority. It's not wrong to gamble as long as you know your obligations and you don't left it behind.

The guys that are leaving their responsibilities and forgetting about it making it look for others that gambling is bad. But as much as you know what you do and you can balance things that would is okay.

Its just a matter of being a responsible person.If you do know that you do have priorities in life then you should really be serious on that.Dont mess up everything just because you do want to gamble.
Always think that you do have a family to feed and raise and using up money for other purpose which compromise their state is a total dumb thing to be done by someone.Dont let that thing to happen
because if your family would leave you then that would be the greatest regret into your whole life.Always set aside for priorities and for your gambling needs.

That is the rule of gambling. Do not regret what you lose because the root of the loss is your decision at all. If you want to play, bet amounts that you are willing to lose, it was almost a word by most of the gamblers but most of them didn't apply this rule because they are having fun and getting addicted. Good thinking, You should be responsible enough to realize things that can be risk if you play that much and engaged to this activities. The supposed budget should be higher for your family and just use spare money, amount that you can afford to forget in case that you lose then you can let go and
forget about those amounts. No need to try going back and chased those money as you can move on and live a life even you lose small portion of your

It's extremely easy to forget your responsibilities and all when you're heavily addicted to something, and it's not always easy to realize you've deserted those responsibilities once you're in the thick of an addiction, though I do agree that you should always be managing your money well and practice good spending habits while you're still doing well so you hopefully don't ever become addicted to gambling in the first place.

For me personally, I only spend a fraction of my salary on gambling and I actually put most of the other money into my other hobbies instead. I'm not a frequent gambler, but it's always nice to have a bit of money set aside for it when I have time. I'm currently single at the moment so there's not much I need to spend on the family side, but I'll hopefully still be responsible with my money when I do have my own family.

It is never recommended to risk our family's money for playing gambling because we cannot buy food for them or fill their daily needs. Family's money will be the most important thing that we need to search, and we cannot use that money to just playing gambling. I only use genuine capital to gamble at the beginning, and then accumulate patiently. And finally I can use the money collected as a separate source of income. For gambling, I have to make sure that I have another source of income to be able to walk on two legs, and the profit from one of those legs is for me to share again, 10% to back up gambling losses, and the rest for my family and living expenses.

Here is my calculation if I will going to gambling and set an amount of money that I am going to gamble. I split in my money into three times, 85% will give it to my wife, 10% into gambling and the rest 5% is for my pocket just for in case or just a savings as well. Of course, I will give the highest amount to my family because they are the reason why I working and seeking money just to feed them. Since my habit is gambling and I can't leave but at least I can control it and gamble with limitations.

Yes I agree, gambling addicts or just having fun will be better if we think of them first than our selfishness.

I have read and learned many experiences from people here, the bitter sweetness of their experience is a valuable lesson for me and also indirectly made me aware of being vigilant when playing gambling.
