I envy you, for having friends like that but it seems like you are taking it for granted, they gave you money that they won in gambling yet you are also spending it on gambling, if you are losing it most of the time, then basically your friend lost his profits too, your friend should have rather spend it in gambling so he could have more profits than give it to you and just spend it in gambling without any idea about what you're playing I presume therefore you lost most of your games.

But why do you have to add "fixed" to your 5% gambling budget? Is that because gambling is necessary in your life? Or is it because it has to be that low only?

the truth is i allocate at least 15% of my monthly wages for gambling and the rest is handled by my wife because she is the one whos budgeting and caring of all house expenses ,and also my bonuses and sidelines are for her..and about crypto income?she is not putting hands on this because she trusts me that i will be doing this for the sake of our family and the 15% amount is enough for me to sustain my needs to gamble.
15% of your monthly wage is a huge allocation for me but I think that you can still save some of your money for your family and your monthly expenses.If I will calculate my allocation in gambling to my monthly income, I think it is lesser than 5% of the total income. I don't gamble that much because I can be easily addicted into it especially if I'm spending too much money on it. I'd rather spend my money in different ways than spend it in gambling

this does not happen to me . i also use free money to gamble or the tips that came on my friend . when i loose it , it does not lead me to deposit my own cash but sometimes it comes to my mind doing it because i was pretty angry that time . i have a family to feed so i always think thrice before i decide to do it for my own sake . its okay to not to play gambling for me and feel sad sometime but it makes me more happier when i see my family is happy to what i provide with them .

That's a pretty big part of your income, I must say. Regardless of how much you make per month, I suggest you to start reducing the percentage you allocate for gambling. Maybe start from 14%, then go to 13% next month, and so on. I think 10% should be the highest limit, and spend those saved 5% on presents for your wife.
