in my opinion personally those who have experience in crypto prefer to invest in altcoin because of the low price if our analysis is correct the price can go up 100% or more

Profit last 2017 was good for almost every coins.... even $hitcoins.
It was amazing. You could turn your $100 altcoins to $1000 value in a short span of time (days/weeks).
I think hodling altcoins does not work in the 2018 bear market.
It is still cheap on me, about just a 1000 usd. I had bad timings on the market conditions resulting my expected profit to go low and even a negative one. But luckily I still manage to earn 1000 usd. As of now, it is still my big achievements and hoping for more in the future.
Most of the profits i have got so far came from altcoins. So i will not hesitate going for more altcoins, most especially those that have got good deliverables.

It depends on the entry point of your investment, on the altcoin itself if it is a potential one and on the market situation. When it is bullish market and if you invested in a potential alt on the dip it can easily x10 your investment or even x100. But if you invested in wrong time in a shitcoin you could lose your investment.
In 2017, alternative coins gave a very large profit. I hope that the year 2019 will be as successful. Recently, I have earned almost nothing.
I like in investing in altcoin because of some reasons and these reasons are: it requires little amount to invest in altcoins, it requires short period of time to realize your money and profit is maximize. Altcoin don't have limit amount that you can make, the more you invest in altcoin the more money you make.

Recently, I have received very little profit from alternative coins. The market went down, and it brought me more losses than in profit.

I believe in crypto you can make as much as you want but can't be certain about the particular amount so all you can make is undetermine like investing in a good project which also grow in volume. For me i can't say how much I have made as it is not just once.
I did not have much profit from last few months due to the drops from the market, but i guess anyone will have the same situation just like me even if we invest in top altcoins, we're still suffering losses from the bear market, however, as long as we can hold altcoins, we still have the chance to recover in the future i believe.
The question shouldn't be how much you can profit from altcoin but how often can one make profit from altcoins, what you make can't be certain in crypto as everyone make profits based on their investment and efforts.
