For the beginners yes to much risky to invest in cryptocurrency because if you really didn't understand the world of cryptocurrency you giving doubts to your self because there is no assurance that you can earn because of the fluctuations of value and one more thing that being risky in cryptocurrency that scammers was also here if you didn't know how to identity scammers so possible that you become a victim so i suggest that gain more knowledege, try to search, read some blogs to get more idea in term of risky in cryptocurrency.

Crypto is very volatile, so the main rule is not to invest everything you have. I prefer to invest only the money that i can afford to lose.

I do not know if there is a risk meter for investing in cryptocurrencies. Let's just say that the less you know, the higher the risk involve. The best way to reduce that is of course to read more.

The risk for crypto currency beginners is loosing the money invested which lead to depress or seeing cryptocurrency as enemy or bad investment and the risk factors are buying or investing at the wrong time and investing into a shitcoin or ICO which barely have the utility to survive the market.
The precautions are don't be greedy, make research or ask question about the particular coin or ICO you wanted to invest in and always put in the amount you can afford to loose which is the reason why I said don't be greedy earlier.

I would say, that cryptocurrency is INCREDIBLY risky.

Just take a quick look at how the prices have fluctuated over the past year.
It is not as easy as just buy and hodl and profit.
If you trace the value of the crypto market, you will see that it is incredibly easy to lose the value of your investments.

On top of that, crypto is in its early stages so there is little regulation or institutional money in it.
So the market conditions can change very drastically once the market matures.

I would say, that in order to be successful at investing in crypto, you would have to do an enormous amount of research to make lots of money.
This includes research on the actual technology itself, market economics, and also any individual company you plan on investing in.

Don't let all the stories of millionares fool you, crypto is a place where more have lost than won.

With the beginner investing in the market, there is a lot of risks if you do not have the knowledge about the market, exchange rates and how to invest. Often, the beginner or buddies of their friends spend in cryptos without understanding what crypto is. So if you want to invest, you need to have full knowledge, avoid the panic sell when the market price goes down.

The only risk is due to the market volatility. The sudden and unexpected changes from time to time on the marjet value of most cryptos, is what worries the investors. The changes may lead to profit and sometimes, loss. Patience is the solution to this problem because holding is more likely to yield into profit.

It is with high risk for the beginners to invest in the coins and it is also many different kind of risk here. The good way to low the risk is to invest in the main coins such as eth and btc In the same time., they can learn something about the market.
