For a newbie investor in crypto, it's very hard for him to understand the ups and downs in the crypto market. A new person first needs to know all the market and get to know how the prices can drop and what are the probabilities of the coin to go up and down. This will help him in cutting unwanted losses which he will get when he has no knowledge. Investing in crypto is a profitable investment for sure but it is also a bit risky at the same time as any crypto can drop its price in very less time and also there are many Ponzi schemes out their so the crypto user needs to be careful about selecting any coin.

Carefully research what coin and team you are investing into. Buying the top notch coins would usually be safe if you are looking to hold for a long period of time.

It is risky when you invest your last savings, and it is even worse if you get credit to invest. It could be very tricky and you can loose everything. Otherwise it is ok if you loose a little, and it could be better when you gain a lot. Every person should understand this

Nothing is risky for a newcomers when starting an investment, all of which will have a big risk if it does not recognize the place you are investing in. Cryptocurrency is a new place, and everything about security every user will take care of it. Here the government does not work to make and convince your money to be safe. The greatest risk for a newcomers is that you either chose the investment place or it could be said the place is a scam. Many newcomers are offered promising things but the results are fake. So the first way to start an investment in cryptocurrency is to determine where you can find a place that has high credibility and is responsible if something bad happens.

I feel that it is high risk for beginners when they started to invest in crypto. Crypto currencies are highly volatile and there are a number of scams targeting to steal your private keys. Please remember to be careful and research well before investing.

It is risky for a beginner to invest in cryptocurrency because the price of crypto is volatile means it will go up or down without prior notice. So the best way for a beginner to invest is to invest to major coin like bitcoin and ethereum, then if you have more knowledge and experience go try your luck in investing to ICO.

Risks are many and types are even versatile.

But most commonly you can get scammed with new ICO projects that keep coming in the market everyday. Many times poeople don’t do extensive research about it and just go on investing their money. Later on they come to know that it was complete scam and loose everything they have.

Scams and frauds can also happen with lending your crypto currency, the biggest ratio of scammer come from there.

Noobs does fall for cloud mining scams where they claim to give you high ROI. They are however Ponzi schemes which you shouldn’t rely on.

How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

For beginners, it is risky because they still have little knowledge about the reliable websites and campaigns to join to. They are highly at risk when it comes to scammers. Also if they don't know the analysis of the values, they might end up investing at a bad time. The least they can do is to ask the ones who already joined in crypto and have already a long time experience. Also, search as much as possible about crypto related topics like how the system works and how to see if the websites you join to is reliable and trustworthy.
