Slots should be obvious that you can't "win" them by counting. And even with backjack, from what i know there are already systems in place to prevent cad counting teams.

If you are talking about sports betting, if majority of people started winning via bots, soon they wouldn't be even worth the risk to play as winnings would be so low.
If you are talking about the poker games, players would be scamming each other, not the house.

As much as AI has established its position in the market, more people are creating hype and creating fear among normal people. As technology advances, we have to embrace it, because you can't go against technology in today's world. It is easy to imagine that engineers who will transform themselves with time will again occupy a strong position in the job sector in the new world.

And even if AI starts to be used in gambling, at the end of the day it will go against gamblers, so gamblers will not have any advantage here.

Well in very advantage there is also a disadvantage, as AI is making work a bit less stressful for people so in same way its actually reliefing some folks of their actual duty due to their incompetence in handling their jobs but the set of people actually affected in this actually beg to think that AI is actually doing them bad by taking their jobs away from them.

AI will no longer take away everyone's jobs, AI will help companies reduce the number of inactive employees by doing that work through AI. Using AI properly requires expertise.

As a result, AI is also creating jobs for many more people, and those who can use AI properly can take advantage of that opportunity. So everything has two sides, good and bad. The actual results will depend on who is using it in what way.

You are right AI worked as programed and can not make real time changes to it decisions and gambling have to do with constant interaction between the player and the house or vs another player as the situation calls for, so in the middle of the game some changes are made that require a prompt decision from the player, in this kind of situation AI will fail to adjusted and just followed the programmed code for its performance and at the end lead to losing.
So there is no place for AI in gambling unless where the casino decides to use some bots as their live chats.

I think that there are different ways to use AI in betting, not only through various apps or bots that are not allowed anyway. By that I mean more in consultancy way. However, AI isn't some magic that will make you reach, it's use depends on quality of data so at the end it's again all about the humans, so some experience, knowledge and of course a lot of luck. I don't think that AI can help with that.

Let's even accept the suitability of the use of AI in gambling, we cannot assume every game or sport to work along with the suitability of the AI being applicable on some of them, especially when it comes to gambling games that needed human efforts and skills including mental reasonings to play them, the accuracy to the use of AI is not 100% effective not even to talk of when we are yet in full discovery of the technology advancement and it's application.

Many have a complete and total misconception of the use of AI and they think it can be applicable in everywhere, am not in doubt to how fast this innovation could go but still yet, there must be a clear understanding on the most appropriate areas of it application in gambling and other sectors.
