I want to learn to trade and become acquainted with the field of crypto currency trading. what should I do? I am currently reading trading technical analysis but I do not understand technical analysis and a pattern. I tried to live trading I earned a .001 btc. I prefer more profit than trading.
That was a good start congratulations many beginners lost bitcoins during their first try , a word of advice if you will do trading seriously you have to practice patience  , If the market is going down just Hold your coins and avoid selling it don't be emotional when you see all red , just trust your coin and you will surely get a good profit very soon !

congrats and welcome on the trading world, sinceyou made a profit of .0001 btc then that is actually trading and trading doesn't mean always win or always loose but the most important is how can recover from your losses and how to maximize on your winning, learning the basic fundamental like technical analysis, pattern analysis, candle stick or any other term are the first step in trading regardless of platform your are trading with it maybe stock, currency or cryptocurrency. The top 5 coins including bitcoin are somewhat predictable pattern but the terms for trading are long term for altcoins are the most volatile and are not quite predictable because of its unpopularities it is hard to find reliable source for price speculation unlike bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, neo or other big market cap crypto their are sources like media and insiders that gives you a hint to predict a price.

Becoming a trader is one of the simplest thing to do in this crypto world since all that is needed is to open an account, fund it and start trading but becoming a successful trader is what is needed and to do that, a lot of energy needs to be invested whether in the area of funds, time, research, trend analysis etc. The technical analysis is not really that hard if you can read and follow the posts of professional traders and from there you can make your decisions whether to rely on it or not.

The easiest way to learn how to trade would be by reading some articles or you can download some learning tips on how to trade. I started first free downloading through the internet, googled it because I was so interested and got excited to trade. Although I have not read all of the ebooks I did apply the things I've learned from the terms to reading charts and then I stopped when bitcoins price skyrocketed. The answer to all your questions can be found in google.

welcome to the trading world mate  Smiley, to become a trader you need to first understand the risk and rewards that are directly related to this profession. As you are currently reading the technical analysis part , which is i am practising from past 7 years and right now i am quite good at it. I would like to add that technical analysis is a vast subject and it cannot be explained and mastered in few days. give some time and efforts and one day you will become a good trader for sure. best of luck my friend.

Are there people that post their trades where others could look at?  I recall there was a poster who posted something like turning 10000 usd into 1 million and he post every trade he does.  I recall that 10k is 100k now but not sure how it is now.

For this you are to be expert and wise to know about the sale and purchase of goods and services. In the case of bitcoin the difference of purchase and sale price is bid price and this is the profit margin of many investors and traders. If you want to become a successful trader for this you have to start working with big traders for a period of time and then after some time you will learn the pros and cons of trading.

buy a coin at a low price, and sell at a high price. if you always do that, then you are a trader. well, even if you do that, you'll get really great in the market price analysis. but, all that takes a long process.

Technical analysis is basically voodoo pseudoscience, looking at past movements and trying
to predict future movements based on that.  And it doesn't work, though people will swear
on their momma's grave that it does.  What does work is following an established trend, like
what bitcoin is going through right now.  The market is extremely bullish and you could
probably still make bank on it just by holding.  Many altcoins are pumped and dumped, and
it's very hard to time the market on those.  My guess is that most traders lose money by
doing that.

It is not difficult to become a trader but to be a good trader is really difficult . As you say you are reading trading technical analysis, that's  good. To become a good trader, it is good to equip yourself with business knowledge. In addition, you need more practical experience to increase your sensitivity and control your emotions.

It’s great to make such decisions, as you need to be very serious about your career. It is possible to make a career in trading, but only if we are determined and dedicated for it. To become a trader is not walk in the park, it comes with plenty of struggle and difficulty and only then you reach to respective levels.

Like some already said, it is too easy to lose that much before you even blink, so you got to have your plans set in such way that few losses shouldn’t kill your career, but only give you motive to come harder. Learning is certainly the way to it but it’s again not an overnight thing, it take months, and even years!

what should I do?

You are asking someone to tell you their strategy and this is very difficult to do, what you should do:

choose the currency you want to trade

look for currency information (you can get this information at https://coinmarketcap.com) you should check the currency ANN here on the forum, currency information on twitter and reddit. PS: do not listen to people who keep saying, "will rise, will rise" you must make your own judgment

second option I recommend is buy bitcoin and hold for a long time

There have already been many people at tradingview.com who have done a lot of technical analysis of bitcoin and many altcoins and from what I saw, nobody was right in their forecasts, the price of bitcoin and altcoin are based on the positive and negative news

thanks for some information about the crypto currency and i like it this is easy to navigate and update ur holding altcoin. Now im reading technical analysis to other people thanks a lot to tradingview there are some update chart i dont know if its true cause in tradingview maybe hype.

You can test yourself out by giving yourself a hypothetical amount of money and then "investing" that in multiple coins. Treat it as if you actually put your money into it. Keep track of all the coins that you "invested" into and see if you come out positive or negative at the end of the testing period. If you come out negative, try to see what went wrong and how to make sure that doesn't happen again. If you come out positive, try going through the cycle one more time, and if you come out positive again, then put some money in.

I am also trying to be a good trader specifically to say day trader.
You can try out some forex trading books.
Forex and cryptocurrency trading basics are pretty much same.
Beside that you can watch some technical analysis video at youtube.
It will definitely help you to be a better trader.

If you want to trade a cryptocurrency, I recommend that you start out with Bitcoin or one of the major altcoins. For short term trading, the key is to wait for a price drop to make a buy. Then wait for a good profit before the sell and definitely don’t sell for a loss.

If you want to learn about cryptocurrencies, first check out the message boards and then go to the coun’s website and learn about the development team and functions of the coin. Also look for coins that have good trading volume on exchanges.

0,001BTC profit as a beginner is a good result. Better than my first step in trading, as I managed to waste 0,46BTC in just several hours. Luckily this was in the early spring of 2013 and this amount was the equivalent of 15 euros back then. Agreed with the folks who say that control of emotion is the number one priority in regards to trading; emotion is your biggest enemy in this game. Move cautiously and calculated in the cryptomarket and you might want to follow a planned strategy.
