Usually I choose several ICO with a high rating on the site icodrops.com. After that I choose only one project in which I will participate. For each project, I study the team, the previous experience, white paper, the site and publicity in the media. Based on this information, I choose the best project.

Look at the payment for participation . then on terms and an order of performance . then you should pay attention to the team, it is desirable to choose the time-tested team ) on these aspects I look first

There are a lot of variables. First thing first you can differentiate projects by sectors (blockchains, protocols, DEXes, VR, IoT, P2P Internet, dApps, advertising, energy, real estate,...). Always look at hard/soft cap, partners, advisors, VCs behind (if any), etc

There are many ways you can test but you should check out their development team and their community on large forums as this will help you to better consider before investing in an ICO project.

Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one.

Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else?

Thanks for any suggestions Smiley

I'm sure there are dozens of comments like this, but nevertheless  Cheesy

Team, Token, Transparency, Good media-coverage, Strong developers are very important factors.

I usually check on the projects here: https://forico.io/icos

There are all the details about an ICO, rating, experts who work with them and so on.

Look at the preferences look at their websites if theyre getting that much attention. Look for their Campaigns if looking good then invest or hold. By the time their ICO will end i think you should probably end too. Some of the ICO dont attend much on their work if the ico is done.

there is no exact benchmark. it can be an ICO has a great concept and an amazing crew but in progress it seems it's far a scam. when you have enjoy in ICO virtually the potential to investigate is increasing. at the least you can see an in advance ICO assignment with the same group whether or not successful or now not. If a hit, then the following crew venture has the potential to prevail.

Here are a few criteria for selecting a crypto project:
1) Check the technical document. Never underestimate the usefulness of this document. If the white paper is not sufficiently detailed and does not give any useful insight into the design, then this is probably not very good, and the crypto project is simply bad.
2) Check the command. Make sure they are in LinkedIn. Find their profiles and see what they do for the team and for the project. A team that does not have LinkedIn profiles is likely to be scammers.
3) Check the advisers.

The choice of ICO is very difficult process. As it is possible to lose very easily all the investments, having chosen bad ICO. As now there are a lot of ICO swindlers. Therefore it is necessary to consider many factors: team, the idea of the project, partner agreements and ratings on the analytical websites.

I think is important if the team is directly involved in communication. most are just relying on communication admin who probably doesn't even know much about the project.

Recently, I came to the conclusion that the ICO category is very influential for the success of the ICO. For example, the most successful are exchanges that have their own token.
For example, Binance, Huobi and others. Team, marketing and other components are also important, but will not help if the project is engaged in a product that nobody needs.

you should first make good research on them, try to check values and most at time what you really want is what you use to check, it is true that there are a lot of them that is why you do research on your own.

Firstly, you need to check the ICOs forum page here on bitcointalk forum. Checking for several different things from lower part of checklist. Solid structured page is what i look for, anything that is scraped up quickly without images or videos often means that developers put little effort into marketing of coin, which is not a good sign to see for investing. Images and names of all developers on project, coins developed and released by hidden developers are way more likely to be scam or eventually loosing overall value. Coin, token, system no matter what the ICO or release is it needs to have long term useful value. When investing in any asset it is important to recognize what current market capitalization of it is, if you are value investing and looking for asset that will produce long term increase of use for certain market, it needs to be as under priced and under capitalized as possible, this means that you as investor are entering at best possible price.

The first thing to do which is a solid indicator of whether the ico is good or bad is to see their marketing campaign, ico that are trustworthy usually spend and have a huge advertising budget so you may see their ads of similar media platforms of different websites etc.

I think that ico will be successful only when the project is will be needed by society. so my choice fell on the project Yumerium, if you have not heard about it, then I advise you to get acquainted and you will understand why I think so.

First, check out the ICO website. Is website design is good and well structured? What about the whitepaper? Does it include all info necessary. Too short a whitepaper is a red flag. Also research the ICO dev team and the token itself.

I believe in the most important things for ico; are team and advisor so I search team and advisors before reading white paper. If team or advisors are bad project will not be succes
