Slowing your breath to a rate of about 6 breaths per minute has a calming/balancing effect on the nervous system. Also getting good sleep, exercise, and eating well helps reduce negative effects of stress on your body.

Hi guys im just wondering what are your ways to deal with stress, i can not seem to cope with stress.
Its not just school thats causing this problem for me but other events that occured in my life the past couple of months,
this month has been especially hard, i cant sleep due to the anxiety that i have this is m second night i havent slept.
What are some ways i can relieve this..
I smoke and drink a couple beers if have extra money play casino, forget about all the bullshit that happened during the day. Sex is the best medicine of the stress

Evade drama and unhelpful and also bad vibes do what you like to do is some favorites relaxations like play video games, sound trip, go shopping, surround yourself with optimistic people

You know, there is a saying to get drunk and forget, but this is not an option, just do other things, load yourself into the business, you and stress will have no time to think.

Many thing we can do. First possible but unrealistic is love your work. Enjoy it !!. Or you can just take a break and do something you lova to do .. Then go back you work Smiley

Some forms of therapy may suit your individual situation more though. Even counseling can help a lot (never underestimate the power of just talking to someone). Just dealing with these things will bring an immediate sense of relief sometimes and give you the motivation to keep going, especially, if like me, you tend to avoid doing so normally.

Or you can meditate. it's scientifically proven to reduce stress and re-wire your brain. it takes a lot of work, so it's not for the lazy. funny thing is that the date that OP posted this was the  first day of a meditation retreat for me.

I always look at my children's photo to be more inspired while telling myself that I can still do it. Then after calming myself I'll take a rest, remove every thought in my mind specially those that makes me feel stress and leave it for a while. Meditation is also good to release stress.

Times like this, we encounter so many things that disrupts us from our normal lives and cause us stress. In order to cope with stress, first thing is you need to identify your stressors. Second is you identify the things that makes you calm and happy. If you know your stressors, more likely you know what you need to avoid. And knowing what keeps you calm and happy would help you divert your attention from the stressors to enjoyment. Good luck! 😆

Hello guys, for me i deal my stress by eating, sleeping and hearing music to resolve my stress.
