It is much more difficult to explane bitcoin to an teenagers or children. If you explane the intire bitcoin he/she probably difficult to understand to a children but for teenagers it slighly difficult because now a days teenagers are now millenials they are new generation they could easily understand in terms of gadgets or online.
But for children there is another way to explane to them. I will say that in my way it just like a call center agent but in a defferent way we didn't call we just need to post and reply the questions.

If and ever a time comes that a child or a teen really needs to learn about it for some reason. I think the best way to make them interested to actually listen is by using analogies, the things that basically interest a child or a teen. In the discussion, you can focus on the benefits and the good things that it can carry for the them instead of discussing the raw concept of it because if it will be discussed with technicalities, I think even an adult who is not interested won't listen.
children doesn't need to know about currency,but teenagers does,and i think there's so many explanation video in youtube so don't wasting effort wasting your time when you can just give them about the link of video so they can learn from it,whether they will be interested or not,it's definitely depend on them
I agree. What's the sense of explaining it to a child when they won't really have any use for it. I think that's why economics as subject is not seriously taught to children only in the senior high school or even at college level. On the one hand, since the topic asks, I think the best way to explain is by analogy of things that most children are interested in. Also, you can start by explaining the good things that bitcoin could bring and not just the concept as is.
It all depends on the level of preparation of the one to whom you explain. I think children should not delve into the technical details of the protocol. Just explain the essence of the phenomenon. As you understand it yourself.
For me it’s better that to inform the children and the teenagers about cryptocurrency or electronic currency; since they are the hope and asset of the future. Educating the childrens and teenagers gives them an assurance that they have a basic knowledge about cryptocurreny. Through this they can be enlighten and knowledgeable enough in concept of the system of bitcoin. At their young age they can make some ways to earn money without exerting too much effort for it; since they know all exact and necessary details about the electronic currency.

Not only teenagers and children but also old people as our parents. It is really hard to find a good explanation for these people. Bitcoin not easy to understanding like money or gold. I think the best way to make them understand is make them research about bitcoin by themselve and know advantages of bitcoin, and know that everything government told them was totally lies.
Bitcoin is online money. I don't think you should explaining bitcoin to kids before explaining to them how money work and what money really is.bitcoin explain to teenagers. But I think the easiest way you can explain to anybody at any age to using a video. They can also see in YouTube and know about it.

I really didnt have that much difficulty explaining bitcoin to my son (13 years old) because he is into computers and it just took him a bit to relate. But the problem I got with him is that he is not that interested in it yet, probably because he is not really thinking he'll earn a lot of money with it. But I think eventually, he'll follow my footstep.

i talked about btc with my mom. so my explanation is like: there is some task that computer can solve, but to make it, much processing power should be engaged. so once the task is solved you get the reward, which is called bitcoin.
there's no need to explain cryptography. tjis currency is just exist. not all people who have btc understand how it works, beleive me
and i think that the name of creator deserved to be given. for general information.

Its gonna be a tedious task explaining such technology to them. But if taught gradually i believe they will catch up.

There is a professor in my university that explained the bitcoin and the blockchain. He is really a great professor and I saw that all of my classmates are really interested to the bitcoin and blockchain. 
I think it would be better if we just let children enjoy their lives. Since they are still dependent on their parents, they don't need to learn bitcoin ASAP and as technology advances and bitcoin grows, I think they'll know about it at the right time. In regards with teenagers, mostly they are into web browsing, side job hunting and tech exploring that's why it might be easier for them to learn about bitcoin with just little supervision. Just teach them the basics, how bitcoin works and what can we do with it, as long as they get interested into it, they will make a way to learn more about it.

I think you must explain it not just only by talking but also with videos and other things that may help improve their understandings. Its not that instant to learn bitcoin and because they are just children to have many space for improvements to learn and although it might take some time they will eventually learn it and just be patient in teaching them.

Well you can explain bitcoins with reference to gold or diamond or any valuable stones, like how we buy such valuable stones at a certain price and later trade as per the fluctuation. If prices fall we wait or ay be cash out if necessary, and if prices rise we gain profit by selling/en-cashing them or may be keeping it for future and trading when prices go up higher. Bitcoins arent very difficult to understand, its just that children or for that matter even elderly's dont come across bitcoins or cryptocurrency in general in the first place. Hope that helps.
