I will use the example of prime number to explain on teenagers as they learn about it in form 7. I will describe as all the people in the world will try to find prime numbers on this common number line. For each prime number you find, you also have to put in some work to prove that it is a prime number and announce to the whole world in order to be given to you. So at the start, prime numbers are easy to find because it is easy to prove. But right now, the number we all working on is super huge and difficult. Just by proving it can takes a lot of effort and no longer so easy. Some people(miners) even hire people to help them prove faster.
You will have a create a case in point and narrate them in form of tale. Once you describe the characteristics in the from of tale it will be straightforward for them to recognize the precise operating or atleast the usefulness of the merchandise. Rest as they grow much more they will understand by them selves if it pursuits them.

Teenager would be the easiest generation to teach bitcoin to, you don't need to teach them the whole in's and out's just a bit about public/private key pairs, sending/receiving addresses and secure coin holding and they will pick up the rest very quickly.
Show a kid how to buy games online with Bitcoin. They will "get it"; kids inherently know what digital money is. Super Mario Brothers been busting blocks for coins for decades...

A simple video presentation that can be found in youtube is already a good tool to educate this young people, for sure they are moreexpert on the technology than the new one but we should look on a more important factors which are the interest.

I think it wont be difficult to explain bitcoin to kids nowadays since this generation were very into gadget, technology and internet. It wont be hard for them to absorb the idea of bitcoin. Especially when you tell them that they can earn money from bitcoin. It will definitely catch their attention.
Kids today maybe know more than me when it comes to use facebook but they do not know more than me when it comes to understanding how it works so I do not think a kid has the knowledge to understand something as complex as bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.

Yup bitcoin is difficult to explain to other people like me as my experience if i explain bitcoin to all my friend they are laughing at me always even if im a newbie here i know that the bitcoin is legit becuase my friend who use this got a high income.

I think its hard to explain many things about bitcoin to a teenager, because there are many things need to understand like what is bitcoin,purpose and the process of earning it. Just like me,it difficult for me to understand when i was started asking about bitcoin
