I think 1k$ invested in bitcoin right now will not make much profit, so investing 1k$ in altcoins top is less risky and volatile than bitcoin, I can suggest you some potential coins like bnb, eth, ... 500 should invest in new defi projects, defi can be seen as a trend now

If you are ready to lose $ 500 then I advise you to invest in defi projects because this is very trendy for now, many are taking advantage of this moment to get profits in a short time

$1k on bitcoin is the right decision and for the rest you can choose the top 100 altcoins that still have a price below $ 0.1 or you can choose a project that just listed
Reasonably, it is better for us to choose new projects and have cheap price. If the project is good hype, the price may increase several times in a short time

I suggest investing in BTC all amount because BTC will always increase in the coming days due to demand raised by individuals as well as institutions, so don't invest in any other low category altcoin if you want to spend $500 then I will recommend you should buy ADA.
Yes ADA is good altcoin but invest $500 in just 1 altcoin is bad choice. OP wants to make quick money and no guarantee ADA will offer it, What happens if drop sharply after he buy it?

So maybe the best solution also to avoid loss investing in 5 or 10 kinds of altcoins. My suggestion is to choose altcoin below 0,0001BTC. This is more potential will bring profits

It's a good idea, investing in Bitcoin is always the first choice in this market. And if you want to risk $ 500 then I recommend looking for new Defi projects at the present time, if you're lucky, the price can increase 10-20 times in a short time.

Zulfi125 who invests for the first time should invest in Bitcoin, later in other alt-coins. It's easy to learn how to invest,
hard part is where to invest. Bitcoin is the best choice, but I wouldn't skip other good alt-coins with much lower prices.
Ada is a good project, we will have to wait them to develop more before we see some price rise. I am ready to wait
and in the meantime I will try to accumulate more.

If you have experience in choosing new projects, I think you should use that money to invest in IEO projects in this market, you will definitely get a lot of profits from it. But if you do not have the experience, it is best to buy the top altcoins in this market
Even if you have experience, you should not invest the entire portion of your investment in IEO; Even people with full experience cannot benefit from IEO in this market many times. So I think one third of your investment should be invested in IEO, one third in Bitcoin and the rest in Top Altcoins. I believe you can be risk free.
I'm not sure how you think this scheme is risk free. For sure it is way less riskier than investing in only IEOs than in IEOs, Bitcoin and Altcoins.
However, you should consider that crypto market is very synced at the moment, thus being said if bitcoin will drop - don't you expect alt market to remain on the same level.

i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it

When I decide to invest on those coins, you should just put an aim for short time when you have profit because those coins usually take to you more profit than Bitcoin. But if you determine to hold your money for long time and have the absolute safe , Bitcoin and Ethereum is the top choices.

If you want profit in the short term, then join IEO, use all this money and participate in IEO of big exchanges like Binance, Okex .. I believe you will quickly get profit from it. Or you can also buy altcoins in the top 10 coinmarketcap

That is not too much money for you to diversify investments, I think you just need to buy BTC and ETH is enough. Spend about 60% to buy Bitcoin and 40% to buy ETH, which will be the best choice at the moment

If you are into  long term both coins are the best one, but if you also have the guts of taking some risk you can also pick hot moving coins and ride with every rise but make sure to understand first where do you place money.

If I were you I would invest 40% of that money on ETH (coz of upcoming 2.0 upgrade) and 30% on BTC but only if the price goes down a bit more and with the remaining 30% I will invest in good positive looking alts. Possibly from the top 300 marketcap.

This also a good investment, but everything should be understood correctly as the volatility is really hurting each investment.

You have $1500 and you want to make a crypto portfolio with this amount. So, my suggestion would be first you should buy the Ethereum because this is the next boom in the market. Again you should allocate some crypto which are in top 200 and in high volume like Datum, CAPP, Enjin Coin, PundiX etc.
Yeah, you think the same as me! You should buy ETH right now but do not all-in. You have to allocate your capital to invest in different coins. ETH has a great chance to pump as this time. Furthermore, ETH is the second biggest coin in the market, investing in it doesn't have a lot of risk. However, I suggest you to invest in top 10 coins in CMC only, top 200 is too wide!

As you have spare money I will suggest you invest in three different coins which price is lower than 05 cents and is traded on Two big exchanges from a long time. and their daily trading volume is not decreased in the last few months. Never invest all your money in a single coin as it will be a big risk.

There are no quick returns in crypto unless you find hype projects because they will pump and dump quickly but that is too risky. it's better to keep investing in top altcoins so that you don't regret it in the past
This is so true! The market right now is not like the market back in 2017 when every single coin pumps. Therefore, it's harder to earn instant profits in the cryptocurrency market. First of all, you should invest your TIME to UNDERSTAND the market first, learn proper knowledge and skills also. Then, you can start investing in the top coins such as BTC and ETH (which are increasing). Do not invest in any new project when you don't have enough experience!

BTC, ETH, and ADA. Cardano is coming out with staking before Ethereum. This will be huge, guaranteed profit. Id invest 500 in each.

Naturally, you experience a loss when investing in STRAT and Sia coins, because both coins are very poorly performing.
Now you have $ 1500 capital that will be spent investing in cryptocurrency, so you should use it to buy profitable coins.
I agree if you intend to invest $ 1000 into Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is indeed very profitable. The remaining $ 500 you
can invest in several altcoins. Like ETH, LTC, XRP and BNB.
