If you want to join the ICO and determine a good ICO.
Then you need to learn a lot.
I see a big opportunity from Cryptocurrency, you should see about the soft cap value of a project whether it has achieved a soft cap or not,
Make sure the team consists of people who are professionals and not fraudsters.
You can learn through the white paper and you can read it carefully.

There is need for you to carry out research about the project ICO.  Read their whitepaper and check the project has the capability to achieve its aims.

A typical project holding an ICO will have a website and a white paper, containing as much information about the project and its goals as possible. Those will describe the team and its relevant experience, the idea and the roadmap of its execution, approximate goals and means of reaching them, and so forth.

There are still many good projects to invest in or will take part in the bounty campaign. To find out a good project, I always see from a team that has experience, a good website appearance and has sales of tokens that have achieved Soft Cap. There are several websites that can help you determine projects such as ICO rankings.

Today, the crypto market does offer a wide variety of different ICOs for promising investments. Personally, I now prefer to work with reliable projects that have good development potential. First of all, it is important for me to have ready-made technologies and a strong development team.

You need to take a look at the use case of the project (it has to be a good one), the team (they should have experience on the domain) and the whitepaper (it should have all the information about the project in it). I think that a good project now is one called Ludos, it has a good use case, the team has lots of experience and the whitepaper is good, so they have checked all my requests.

you must look into a lot of aspects but the main ones are

1) team (real or not, investigate)
2) whitepaper
3) product (finished or not)
4) use case for product
5) cap and token sale details

I am sure there are few more but those are most important
agree with your opinion, and I give an additional following from your answer
1. The team is a person with a wealth of experience
2. A clear whitepaper has a beginning to end

Some tips are important in deciding whether to invest in a project. Among them I would point out a detailed reading of the whitepaper, at least have some MVP available, a team experienced in the field of action of the project and with a curriculum available for consultation and a roadmap that has possible functionalities to be delivered in a timely manner. These suggestions do not guarantee that the project will be successful, but may eliminate some fake projects or have poor prospects for success after their ICO.

i'm newbie just know cryptocurrency, i have a little money and i really want to income ICO. But a newbie like me will not discern which is a good project. so i hope old member who have experience this will share for me How to know a good project?

Carefully read the white paper of the project, think whether it is realistic to carry out the tasks that the developers set themselves.
Carefully follow the news, whether the developers meet with investors at public events.

In fact, if the project has some kind of prototype. He is already good. The scammers do not waste time on product development. So if the project has a product. So the project has all the chances.

It's pretty simple, there are a lot of specialized services on the Internet that review projects in general, this analysis includes analyzing project documentation, technical analysis of the platform, its future prospects and platforms

Pay attention primarily to the project team. Look for their photos in Google search. Deceivers often take photographs from publicly available photo databases.
A team is a weak link of deceivers because they do not show their faces and they need to look for other people.

we all definitely want a good and clear ICO project for us to follow. This year there are many fraudulent or failed projects, I cannot compare them with certainty, but from my observations so far I have seen from managers, concepts, products, and active participants participating. Basically, it's hard to tell the difference because everything is almost convincing with all the sweet prospects and promises to attract us.

The only way to know which project is good is checking. LOL. Of course you'll get tons of general answers like you should check WP, dev team, roadmap, idea, blah blah blah but nobody will let you know how to check Smiley)). It's a secret experience and nobody will easily share it for a strange guy for free.

you can easily define a good project due to some peopel s reviews andd with the little help of your friends or concults
Don't too trust in people's reviews, it can be the fake reviews. I think it will more safety if we choose the projects that have reached the hardcap, at leat they have to reach the softcap. And there was many participants in their bounty campaigns.
Anyway, I think new should not invest into to ICO or they can try with a little amount of money. It will be better if they choose the coins that in top 20.
